This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysing the selected indicators of the company Uchytil, Ltd. in the period of 2002 – 2011 by means of the timelines. The theoretical part deals with the issues of timelines, regression analysis and bankruptcy models. The practical part is devoted to analysing the data and the prognosis of their development in following years might be determined there if possible.

This bachelor thesis deals with unemployment analysis by time series. Chosen areas for this analysis are the Czech Republic, Moravian-Silesian regions and district of Karvina. Work deals with theory of time series, regression analysis and unemployment. It includes analysis of unemployment rate development in all three studies areas. Further it gives attention to age and educational structure in the Czech Republic, method and search period for job in Moravian-Silesian region and analysis of the quantity of applicants for one available and announced job position in district of Karvina. The outcome are parametric values of unemployment in specified period and prognosis for future.

This thesis can help top management that adapts next activity to results of analysis and accepts pracautions and remedies serious shortcomings or improves current activity of company.

Prognosis of Schools Attendance in the Town Šternberk Using Time Series

This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of both demographic data and the analysis of the nursery and primary schools in the town of Šternberk. The main purpose of the text is determination of prognosis of children in these school facilities depending on the number of births. This prognosis is compared to the current situation in kindergartens and schools. Statistical methods of time series are used to achieve these objectives.

Prognosis School Occupancy and Economic Indicators of City Břeclav Using Time Series

This thesis is focused on the analysis of demographic trends in births and economic indicators of Breclav. Based on this analysis, the prognosis is determined occupancy of primary schools and prognosis economic indicators of Breclav. It identifies the number of children attending educational facilities, depending on the number of births and predicts what will be the required number of classes opened in 2013. This thesis also deals with the analysis of budgetary revenue and expenditure of the village Breclav and way to improve the management of the village .The bachelor thesis uses statistical methods of time series and regression analysis.
