Finanční analýza vybraného podniku

This disertation is focused on financial analysis of economic activities of joint-stock company MAVE Jičín for accounting period 2011 - 2015. The goal of the financial analysis is an assessment of the company financial state. The disertation incorporates overview of financial analysis methods and describes financial statements, which are a source of informations for analysis. Selected elementary methods of financial analysis are used in the practical part of analysis. These are particularly horizontal analysis and vertical analysis, Net working capital, profitability ratios, liquidity, activity and leverage ratios, Du Pont equation, Altman Z-score, bankruptcy model IN95, the IN99 index and Rudolf Doucha Balance analysis II. The financial analysis results give an overview of developments in the financial situation of the joint-stock company MAVE Jičín and thereby provide information for company financial management.

Financial analysis of the company Megafyt Pharma, s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the financial situation of the company Megafyt Pharma, s. r. o. in the period 2011-2015 and to evaluate its financial health by bankruptcy and credibility models. The bachelor thesis has two main parts. The first part is concerned with the methodology which defines used methods, procedures and indicators that are further used in the financial analysis. The second and practical part introduces the company Megafyt Pharma and its competing company Mediate, s. r. o., and also provides the financial analysis of Megafyt Pharma. Results of the analysis give a comparison with the competitor. In the second part is there is used the spider analysis which compares the values of the analyzed company, the competitor and the specific industrial sector. The practical part concludes with a SWOT analysis that is focused on the identification of the strengths and weaknesses of the company and the opportunities and threats. This part is followed by a conclusion which summarizes the evaluation and outlines possible future developments.

Analysis of the economic activities of the Parent and Subsidiary Companies

The main target of this graduation thesis is to make an analysis of economic actvities of parent company and subsidiary company. The financial situation of this two companies is compared. The main emphasis is placed on the standard data of economic activities along with the less frequently declared informations. The analysis is made for both companies in the years 2012, 2013 and 2014. In the first part of the thesis are theoretically defined financial analysis, bankrupcy and creditability models and semi structured interviews. Subsequently are both of companies presented and there is also the description of their relationship. This area is also complemented by a comparison of the subsidiary company and the parent company and the development of selected items of the financial statements.

Financial Analysis and Intercompany Comparison

The goal of the thesis is to carry out financial performance analysis of two retail companies based on selected financial analysis tools and use its results for inter-company comparison. The theoretical section introduces selected methods of financial analysis and intercompany comparison methods which are used in the practical section to perform financial analysis of Billa and Kaufland companies. The selected performance ratios are consequently compared by means of intercompany comparison methods.

Financial analysis of AŽD Praha s.r.o.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out the financial analysis of the company named AŽD Praha s.r.o. The analysis is conducted for the financial years 2009/2010 - 2013/2014 from the perspective of an external analyst. To accomplish the goal, the methods of horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio analysis, evaluation of financial health with the use of bankruptcy and credibility models and eventually SWOT analysis were applied. The work is divided into three parts. The methodological part defines the theoretical basis of financial analysis. The second part is dedicated to the introduction of AŽD Praha, the definition of the class of branch and the competitors. The financial analysis in comparison to the rival companies is performed in the practical part.

Thesis describes situation in Slovak and Czech telecommunication market and their comparison based on selected criteria. Analysis of Slovak Telekom, a.s. con-sists of bancruptcy tests and tests of creditworthiness, regression analysis of rev-enues of company and total domestic consumption in telecommunication and post services. Time series of total assets and net income in 1996 till 2014 were con-structed with predictions for next three years. Return on assets was estimated for the year 2015.

The point of this thesis is to identify factors affecting the financial health of the company. To assess the financial health developments will be monitored for a period of 5 years. The source of data is accounting documents and other internal documents that the company provides. The results are used to improve recom-mendations for property management.

Thesis deals with the financial soundness of the company KORÁDO, a.s., which evaluates the use of selected indicators of financial analysis. The work is divided into three basic parts. In the first part are defined the theoretical bases of methods for processing of financial analysis. In the second part is the selected method applied to the accounting data of the company in the years 2007-2010. Subsequently, the selected values of indicators, compared with the industry values. The third part is devoted to the recommendations for the improvement of the current financial situation of the company.

The aim of the thesis is to analyze this situation by specific methods and provide proposals for its improvement. The first section describes the various methods and theoretical basis for the elaboration of fundamental and financial analysis. In the second part, the different methods are applied and in the last section the key recommendations for improvement are presented.
