Slavkov bypass, MÚK section Slavkov south – MÚK Marefy

The diploma thesis in the form of a technical study deals with the design of the bypass of the town Slavkov u Brna in the section between Slavkov and Bučovice. The town is currently congested with transit traffic and the capacity of the existing road is almost exhausted. The design of the bypass will increase the safety and flow of traffic in the area of interest. The work includes two grade-separated junction, one of which is processed in two options.

Crossroad I/38 X II/408 near Znojmo - Study

The subject of this diploma thesis is to create a study of a junction of roads I/38 and II/408 located in an unincorporated area near Znojmo town. Out of the total of three proposed variants, the first replaces the existing condition with a circular intersection, and the remaining two variants offer a grade-separated junction solution. The proposed solutions eliminates possible collision situations and replaces the existing intersection, which in its current disposition does not comply with trafic safety regulations.

This thesis deals with study of variant solutions for interchange MÚK Mohelnice – jih on planned highway D35. The aim is to verify viability and optimalization of design elements MÚK Mohelnice – jih and also answer of the subsequent connection of southern part of town Mohelnice, including industrial zone, to planned highway D35 in section Staré Město – Mohelnice.

Study of MÚK Hodonín - west

The bachelor thesis deals with creating a study of an adjustment to the current design of interchange Hodonín – západ which is a part of a intended construction of motorway D55. The reason for the adjustment is consideration of canceling a bypass of the city Hodonín which is connected to current design of interchange Hodonín – west. The current design of interchange will be replaced by a new solution. From three possible options, two were chosen which ensured sufficient arrangement and an increase of safety in junctions.

Crossroad I/52 and II/152 - Study

The subject of the thesis is a variant solution of the interchange of roads I/ 52 and II / 152 near the village of Modřice, which lies in the district of Brno-Country in the South Moravian Region. Within the work, a total of four variants were proposed and subsequently processed in the form of a study. The aim of the proposal is to improve the traffic situation and traffic safety, due to the formation of queues on the ramps of the interchange at rush hour, which is caused by heavy traffic on the road II / 152.

Kuřim south bypass - location study

This diploma thesis deals with the solution of the southern bypass of the town of Kuřim, especially its connection to the road I / 43. The main goal was to optimize intersections and tracing affected communications. The work was based on previously prepared studies, from which were taken over the routes of the road I / 43 and the southern bypass of Kuřim.The proposal slightly modified the height and directional solution of the taken routes. Route road I / 43 is designed to affect the inhabitants of Moravské Knínice. Part of the work are also the designs of relocations of adjacent roads and new solutions resulting intersections. The proposal was prepared with regard to the Principles of Territorial Development of the South Moravian Region.

Connection of the grade-separated interchange Ostrovačice D1 with highway D52 - Location Study

This master’s thesis is a reconnaissance study developed to create a concept of road connection between the road 43 and the highway D52 in the Czech Republic. The possible route of road 43 is planned both in highway and road category in so called Bitysska trail and is connected to highway D1 at Ostrovacice interchange. This thesis suggests highway and road options to connect interchange Ostrovacice and highway D52 at the section between Ledce and Rajhrad. Suggested options were compared and the most convenient draft option was further worked out.
