Hydraulic analysis of the Velký Beranov water supply network

The thesis is focused on hydraulic analysis of water supply network of the Velký Beranov in Jihlava district. A detailed quasi-dynamic hydraulic model of the water supply network was created, and then subsequently calibrated and verified on the basis of measurement of hydraulic quantities on the water supply network. The least squares numerical method was used to calibrate the model. The simulation model illustrates behavior of the water supply network during the characteristic operating conditions of the water supply. The follow-up analyzes carried out assessment of the pressure ratios with respect to the existing and future development given by the zoning plan.
Hydraulic analysis of the supply pipeline to the Kravsko reservoir in Znojmo city

This thesis provides hydraulic analysis of an existing water supply pipeline from Kasárna reservoir to Kravsko reservoir near Znojmo. The thesis structure is divided into two parts – the first is theoretical, the second part is a practical research. The theoretical part outlines currently used procedures, principles and available software programs. Thesis concentrates on a software called EPANET 2.0 which is also used for hydraulic analysis. In the research part, the thesis offers a description of the chosen site, a field survey followed by the process of assessment and a construction of a hydraulic model by the EPANET 2.0 software. The final part evaluates performed hydraulic analysis and proposes concepts for water supply pipeline renovation.
Optimisation of Pressure Condition in water Distribution Networks

The bachelor thesis deals with pressure in the water distribution network. The introductory chapter describes legislative requirements for network pressures and means of network auditing. The following chapter deals with the optimization of pressure conditions in the water distribution network, describes the positive and negative aspects of pressure optimization, illustrates ways of influencing pressures, and briefly analyzes existing case studies from abroad. In the final chapter, with the help of the EPANET 2.0 program, pressure optimization is performed on the fictional network.
Hydraulic analysis of the Tvarožná water supply system

This bachelor thesis deals with the hydraulic analysis of the existing water distribution system of Tvarožná village. The thesis is divided into several parts. The first part introduces the purpose of the work. The second part focuses on mathematical modeling of water distribution system, hydraulic analysis of water distribution system, describe Epanet 2.0 software that was used for modeling and review the current research on mathematical modeling of water distributions systems. The third part of the thesis analyzes in detail the studied area and describes drinking water distribution to the municipality. The fourth part describes the measuring campaign in the locality and its evaluation, which was subsequently used for the model construction. The fifth part describes the input data and the procedure for the model settings in the software Epanet 2.0. The results of the hydraulic analysis are the pressure conditions in the water distribution network, which are compared to the actual valid legislation. Also the hydraulic capacities of the fire hydrants and their location in the municipality are compared to the standard requirements.
Hydraulic analysis of the Brno – Ivanovice water supply system

This diploma´s thesis aims to model the hydraulic model of the Brno – Ivanovice water supply system. The software MIKE URBAN for model hydraulic model of water supply system was used. It was performed a simulation of the various states of loading. The water supply system was assessment of pressure ratios. The outcome of this work is calibrated hydraulic model of water supply system. The appendix consists also of drawings, which represented pressure ratios, which are situated on water supply system. On the fourth drawing is described transparent situation of Brno-Ivanovice water supply system.
Hydraulic analysis of the Hnojník water supply system

This Bachelor thesis is focused on hydraulic analysis of Hnojnik water supply system. The structure of this thesis is devided into several parts. The first part focuses on general hydraulic analysis, possibilities of using matematic modeling, and types of analysis that can be performed in a water network. Next section contains a list and brief characteristics of software tools used for hydraulic analysis. Attention is focused on the EPANET 2.0 which was used to build a model of Hnojnik water supply system. The last section describes the construction of the network model, input data used for modeling and evaluation od hydraulic analysis.
Pressure optimisation in the water-supply system of the Střelná village

This document aims on aplication of sophisticated software programs to accomplish hydraulic analysis of real water supply, design and optimization measures for improvement of pressure conditions in water network. In this work is stated a list and description of software enabling to accomplish static or longterm hydraulic analysis of water supply when the most world used program EPANET 2.0 is described more deeply. There is described working of a EPANET and his algorithm also there are explain principles on which EPANET is based. During the hydraulic analysis of real system was used sophisticated software EPANET 2.0. With this program was processed hydraulic analysis of chosen water supply system of small consumption area. Based on the results of analysis pressure conditions has been designed and optimized measure to improve pressure conditions in the water network.
Hydraulic analysis of the Brno - Bystrc water supply system

The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the hydraulic analysis of water storage Brno – Bystrc. The structure is devided into three parts. The first part is devoted to the research of used and applied methods and all available software tools, especially to the EPANET 2.0 programme, which was used during solving of given issue. The thesis also deals with description of specific campaign, which is the integral part of conducted analysis, and with the very hydraulic analysis, process and with the interpretation of acquired results outcome. The last part is dedicated to methodology of determining of the hydraulic capacity in chosen selected hydrants, which are not primarily intended for the fire protection, in the view of the CSN 73 0873 - Fire protection of buildings- Equipment for fire-water supply.
Design of the Doubravník water supply system

The aim of this project is the study of technical solution of water line extension into the selected part of consumption area. The study includes specific water line design in the Doubravník village, the design of laying water line in a cross-section considering existing networks and the vertical level of water line in the mentioned location. It was prepared simplified hydraulic analysis to assess the hydraulic conditions in the water network. Project was processed by current applicable laws and standards. The design of water line eliminates water supply shortage in the area of interest and it will alow to connecting of new-built house into the water main.
Design of Water Supply Facilities with the Support of Simulation Software

The subject of the thesis is the design of water supply facilities with the support of a simulation software. The document is a summary of representative software tools that are used to design water supply sites directly or serve as supportive programs. A short summary of the origin, primary focus, availability and market price of each tool is listed in the survey. Furthermore the individual programs are divided into four groups. The section conveys the software's ability to deal with any of the following issues: - Water quality - Hydraulic analysis and simulation of hydraulic working - Design of water network - Creation of simulation models Subsequently, three chosen programs are subjected to exemplary tests, demonstrating some of the capabilities. The first program is Watpro, on which a design of a water treatment plant is drafted and a subsequent search for the sufficient dose of chemical additives is executed. The second program Epanet 2.0 calculates a model test of a water leak from a pipeline. The result is then compared with the outcome of equation calculation. The last program is Watdis, with which the same example of pipeline leakage is calculated and subsequently compared to the Epanet 2.0 result. The work's aim is to provide an overview of the seventeen selected programs and supply the information to potential users from the ranks of designers and students.
