The aim of a diploma thesis is design of draft boiler for co-firing blast furnace gas and natural gas. In the first part is made the stoichiometric calculation for the gas mixture. Next is the proposal of combustion chamber and proposal of individual heating surfaces of boiler. Next part contains the thermal calculation and control of individual heating surfaces. Part of the work is also drawing documentation of boiler.
Fuid bed boiler for biomass

This master thesis designes the calculation of fluid boiler with specific part - the circular fluid bed. The heat is given by combustion of wood biomass. The thesis is devided into several parts. All necessary elementary results are going to be reached within these parts: an analysis of solid fuel, stechiometry calculation, discussion on output limits and the environmental point of view, definition of elemental heat losses and general heat efficiency, calculation and design of a combustion part and its heat loads and calculation of enthalpies with different ash concentrations. All these phases get to a successful design of the fluid boiler heat balance and sizes of heat-flow surfaces. The composition of the boiler shows the added drawing.

This thesis deals with a project of steam boiler to combustion of refused-derived fuel. With respect of required fuel and output parameters of the steam was worked out stoichiometry, energy loss and boiler efficiency, heat flows was allocate to individual heat exchange surfaces. The heat exchange surfaces was calculate and project in detail.

The threat of depletion of fossil fuels is the driving force to diversify energy sources in the Czech Republic respectively in the European Union but also worldwide. One of these potential sources are being biomass boilers. The construction of these boilers has expanded in recent years because of government support for the construction of clean energy sources. Whether it is a burning of clean biomass or just incorporation of biomass to fossil fuels, teh substitution of fossil fuels and biomass boilers are the ideal solution. Their major advantages include significant reductions in emissions, mainly sulfur compounds, organic closure of the cycle of CO2 and disposal costs of spent residue.
Design of steam boiler in waste to energy plant

The thesis deals with the design of the boiler to combustion of mixed communal waste. The introductory chapters present introduction of the problem, short explanation about fuel of the boiler and speciality of the boiler to combustion of mixed communal waste. The main part is the heat calculation of the boiler, which consists of stoichiometry of the combustion, heat losses, then disposition of heat performances to individual exchange surfaces. In the end is summary of calculation and knowledge consequent of the calculation.

This thesis is focused on the design of steam boiler like a supplement for cogeneration unit of biogas plant. The main idea is to use a waste heat from the exhaust gasses to produce a technological steam of required parameters. The thesis contains of a calculation an amount of the heat in exhaust gasses and a heat exchange surface. An Aerodynamic loss and a wall thickness of the boilers are verified by strength calculation in the next parts of this thesis. At the end of this thesis are made projection drawings and diagram, which are made of the calculations.

Grate Boiler for Wood Chips Combustion

The thesis is dedicated to the design of the steam boiler which burns wood chips, with a natural circulation of the water. It is a grate boiler, which produces 20 t/h of the steam. The output parameters of the steam are 420 °C and 5 MPa. The feedwater temperature is 125 ° C .The thesis gradually deals with stoichiometric calculations and determines the efficiency of the boiler. Then it describes the design of the fireplace and thermal calculations of each heat transfer surfaces. The appendix includes drawings of the boiler.
