Analysis of the marketing activities of selected small businesses

An integral part of business should be systematic and continuous process of creation, coordination and control of marketing activities. Marketing is important for easy penetration of the market, so that a prosperous and firm to ensure the continued existence market. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the marketing activities of selected service firms, mutual comparison of these activities on the basis of analyzes carried out to design the next process of improving these activities. For analysis, three firms were examined in which their marketing activities. Based on the analysis of the marketing mix, Porter's model, analysis of the communication mix and SWOT analysis to identify appropriate strategic approaches and suggestions for how marketing activities of units. Suggestions for improvement were recommended with respect to the financial possibilities owners analyzed service companies.
A business concept of services arrangement of recreation centre Nová Živohošť

The main objective of this thesis is to analyze the market accommodation and food services market in the tourist region of Central Bohemia ? South. Another objective of this thesis was to formulate recommendations for the development of services in selected area. . The aim was also to identify the needs and requirements and satisfaction of visitors with accommodation and boarding services in selected recreation centre Nová Živohošť. To achieve the objectives it was necessary to study secondary sources, writing review of the literature and knowledge on the subject. Then situational analysis was performed. Here is defined and characterized a recreation centre Nová Živohošť, located in the tourist region of Central Bohemia ? South. The situational analysis is also a market analysis of accommodation and boarding services in the recreation centre Nová Živohošť. Another part of the work is questionnaire survey and interviews with worker in tourist information centre in Neveklov and owner Juniorcamp Tobogán and Caravan Club in Nová Živohošť. Final proposals, recommendations and business concept should increase the attractiveness of an offer, the quality of the resort and meet the needs and wishes of customers.
Social interactions in family company

The objective of this bachelor´s thesis was to perform sociometric tests and to define the social positions in the family as well as in the company, which is run by the family. The first part of the thesis includes the theoretical information necessary to establish the manager´s position and character, leadership theories, conflicts and its solutions, team work, communication in the firm, motivation of the employees, and harmonization of the family and company life. Within respect to the theoretical enquiry, the following were utilised: the social positions established with the aid of the sociometric test, matrices, target sociogram, an interview with the Executive Head of the company, as well as personal experience gained. The second part of the thesis includes the history, organisational structure, present situation of the company, commodities put up for sale and subsequent analysis of the sociometric positions. It was found that positions both in the family and in the company are identical. However, this is not satisfactory. The ideal solution would be the agreement of the sociometric positions and positions within hierarchy of the company.
Motivation and remuneration of employees in small enterprises

The motivation is very significant in all enterprises regardless how many employees they have. Well-motivated employees often work better, faithfully and they are more loyal. Therefore they make the basis of success and represent a competitive advantage of any enterprise. The aim of this bachelor work is to analyse and evaluate the current system of remuneration and motivation of employees in small enterprises and in case of finding defect to propose new improvement conception that will help to increase work motivation and employee{\crq}s satisfaction and thus greater prosperity and competitiveness of the enterprise. The source of information has been literature and survey by questionnaire and guided interview. The first part of bachelor work deals with definition of small enterprise, basic characteristics of motivation, theories of motivation, stimulation and remuneration. The following section describes selected groups of enterprises and their system of remuneration and motivation of employees. For purposes of this work were chosen 15 enterprises, divided into 3 groups according to their field of business, that is construction, trade and hospitality. A significant part is devoted to the analysis of a questionnaire survey regarding job satisfaction and motivation of employees in each enterprise group. On basis of evaluation and assessment of all information have been proposed following recommendations: - ensure accurate codification of formal relations - clearly define the method of assessment and subsequent remuneration - improve communication in the workplace - formulate employee benefits in writing form, acquaint employees with them and reflect on their possible extension - express satisfaction with the good work of employee - discuss with employees the possibility of improving the working environment. These recommendations would be an important condition for the satisfaction of the employees and result in success of the analysed small enterprises.
The analyse of accomodation and catering services in the region of Bechyně

The aim of my bachelor work was to analyze the accommodation facilities and the catering establishments in Bechyně and its surroundings. There was disposed the background research, which was concurred by situation analysis, which helped me to investigate the particular questions in more detail. Based on retrieved results I proposed some recommendation which are described in the chapter {\clq}qNávrhy a doporučení``. In the exordium of my bachelor work I formulated set of working hypotheses, which I tried to confirm or to refuse based on retrieved information. Four of them were confirmed, the other three ones could not be confirmed. As was remarked above the main aim of my work was to analyze the accommodation facilities and the catering establishments in Bechyně and its surroundings. The aim was attained with the aid of the method mentioned in my work.

Tools of the communication mix of small businesses

Use of tools of communication mix for companies promoting the market is very important. Tools are used because of insufficient public awareness. Thanks to them, the company is able to influence the buying behavior of customers. The aim of this work is to analyze the differences in the communications mix of business services. Determine the advantages and disadvantages of the different business entities organized to design and improve the quality of the communication mix. For analysis were selected three companies, which were examined ways and modes of use of tools of communication mix. Draft measures to improve the quality of the communication mix was determined having regard to the financial possibilities of business.
Analysis of an environmental conflict - opinions of main groups of the inhabitants in the pond water area on the subject of the presence of cormorants (fishermen and holidaymakers) and media analysis

The thesis was chosen on the basis of the continuation of the bachelor´s work. This thesis is focused on the literature search of problems of the conflicts between the protection of cormorants and the interest of fishery, further on the media analysis in the Czech Republic and finally on the processing of opinions of various groups of respondents (holidaymakers in the area called ´Třeboňsko´ and Czech fishermen). The opinions of questioned people were obtained from controlled interviews written down and processed in the questionnaires. The available information shows that a number of the protected cormorants is increasing not only in the Czech Republic but all over the world. The increase of the number of cormorant population causes problems especially to fishery, because cormorants cause the damage by catching fish stock. These conflicts in the problem area are mostly promoted in the media. In the problem area there are important opinions of the key groups of inhabitants. Groups of questioned people demonstrated their knowledge: holidaymakers in the area called ´Třeboňsko´ have basic knowledge in cormorants and problems caused by cormorants. On the contrary, fishermen are well-informed about the problem. The fishermen are more interested in the problem. Media are very important for solving conflicts and forming opinions of various groups of people. Media analysis showed that most spokesmen, who initiated writing newspaper articles were just fishermen. Therefore the articles on the cormorants are negative and without opinions on the spokesmen as member of general public or academics. Results of the sociological analysis have feed back on the results of the media analysis. It was found out that in the Czech Republic there had not been drawn up any management of fish protection againts cormorants. That is why I prefer to suggest the management in the near future. I recommend to follow the existing foreign management, forexample, in Great Britain. Further, I propose to change the Czech legislation for lower payment of the compensation for the damage caused by cormorants.

Faktory úspěchu nestátních neziskových organizací

Diplomová práce vyhodnocuje faktory úspěchu vzorku 30-ti nestátních neziskových organizací poskytujících sociální služby v regionech Olomouckého a Moravskoslezského kraje. Zkoumané jevy jsou rozděleny do několika základních kategorií a vyhodnoceny souhrnně za celý zkoumaný vzorek, byly odhaleny některé křížové vazby mezi těmito jevy. Informace byly získány dotazníkovým šetřením provedeného formou řízených rozhovorů. Na základě získaných dat bylo vyhodnoceno plánování, marketing, fundraising, konkurence, práce dobrovolníků, finanční řízení a zdroje financování. Podle doby fungování NNO byli respondenti rozděleni do skupin za účelem odhalení jejich vnitřních společných znaků a odlišností od ostatních.
