Přistoupilová, K. ; Navrátil, Tomáš ; Petr, M. ; Šenholdová, Z. ; Přistoupil, T. I. ; Pelclová, D. ; Žák, J. ; Kohlíková, E. ; Heyrovský, Michael
Alternative administration of creatine (CR) and vitamin B12 in food supplements has confirmed our finding that CR is a source of 2C units. They can be utilized in oxidative pathway, an intermediate of which is thiodiglycolic acid (TDGA). 2C units can be used also in other metabolic pathways, in which folates and vitamin B12 coenzymes take part together with homocysteine.

Analysis of the Economic and Monetary Union crisis based on the Eurozone example
Ševčíková, Michaela ; Rovná, Lenka (advisor) ; Debnárová, Ľubica (referee)
Global economic and financial crisis uncovered serious structural deficiencies of the EU economies - especially of the Eurozone members. High levels of debt have resulted in inability to honour it and state bankruptcies or necessary debt restructurings are a real possibility. This paper analyzes the current Eurozone crisis on the basis of theoretical and methodical foundations of the Optimal Currency Area literature and theory of economic integration. It evaluates the rationality of the Maastricht nominal convergence criteria and analyzes the role of real convergence criteria in like with the introduction of common currency and common monetary policy. It discusses the non-compliance with the Stability and Growth Pact which was supposed to ensure fiscal discipline also after a country's Euro accession. It also deals with the current developments in the monetary and fiscal crisis of the most affected Eurozone members (Greece, Ireland, Portugal) which have already had to ask for financial aid from the EU and the IMF. Tools and measures adopted in this light by the EU and other national and supra-national authorities are also discussed and their partial evaluation is presented. The final section offers possible alternatives of future development of the Eurozone.

Is Eurasian union suitable for single currency?
Štekr, Václav ; Melcher, Ota (advisor) ; Čajka, Radek (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to give an opinion on whether states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) are suitable for adopting the common currency. The criteria of optimum currency area (OCA) are used for the assessment. The theoretical part briefly describes economic integration and monetary union. The main attention is paid to the theory of optimum currency area and the definition of the individual criteria. The analytical part of the thesis first defines the surveyed region and then applies the OCA criteria defined in the theoretical part on the individual EEU countries. As a main method of study was used comparative analysis.

Tangible fixed assets in accounting of the company.
KŘIVANOVÁ, Lenka
The aim of the Bachelor thesis was to analyze present legal regulations in the field of accounting and taxes of tangible fixed assets. Other part of the aim was to evaluate a system of evidence of tangible fixed assets and suggest precautions to lower administrative workload associated with an accounting. Tangible fixed assets were characterized and a procedure of acquisition, appreciation, evidence, depreciation and disposal of tangible fixed assets was described in the theoretical part. In the conclusion of this part a taxation of tangible fixed assets was analyzed. Information for the practical part was provided by Agricultural co-operative Třebelovice. Two kinds of tangible fixed assets were chosen and was performed analyze of the tax depreciation and the book depreciation. The influence of difference between the tax depreciation and the book depreciation on the tax base was found out. In 2008 the procedure depreciation of animals was changed and this change was shown in the practical part. Mistakes of an accounting software were found out during the analyze of the accounting of tangible fixed assets and therefore improving ideas were suggest.

The impacts of gas failure in a restricted area
PALKOVIČ, Marek
This thesis deals with the effects of failure of gas in the administrative district of the municipality with extended powers České Budějovice. The aim of this work is to determine potential impacts of an emergency through the qualitative research and to answer the two research questions whether the failure of gas in the administrative district was serious interference in the running of the company and whether the season of the year would affect the impact of the gas failure. At the beginning of the theoretical part of my work I just gave the definition of the critical infrastructure. I focused on the basic information about natural gas. For the purpose of this work I needed to describe the transmission and distribution system of the Czech Republic and South Bohemia Region together with underground tanks. Then I defined the concepts: state of emergency in the gas industry, regulatory groups of customers and announcing consumption degrees. With he Crisis Plan of the South Bohemia Region, I focused on companies which consume the natural gas and chose ten of them. Taking into account the criteria of the natural gas usage, the type of company, its importance and how strongly could the gas failure differ in summer and winter. By selection of the companies I have gained in every respect a little different respondents, whom I asked seven questions. These questions have been purposefully drawn up to allow using the replies to those to deduce results. They examined three given branches. These branches are focused on: the impact on the sphere of the gas use, impacts of natural gas failure with regard to the possibility of substitution in current season and the consumption degree, which is already threatening to the company. Results in the first branch showed that companies using natural gas for heating and water heating would suffer the most. Most of the respondents use the natural gas for these purposes. The integrated rescue system, objects for food production, water treatment plants, crematoria, institutions with special care and other facilities would be out of operation. Surprisingly using natural gas for cooking does not cause so serious problem in case of gas failure. Here is the most opportunity to at least partly use the electricity, especially some electrical appliances. The other branch of the effects of the gas failure took into account the season. The result clearly confirmed the dependence of the impact of the failure on the season and determine the twofold effects in winter period. The only exception was The Funeral Home České Budějovice, where the impossibility of burning and extreme summer temperatures facilitate faster decomposition of the death bodies. Last branch examined which level of consumption is for the company already threatening. All but one of the customers have a high consumption degree, these are 9, 10 and the highest consumption degree of emergency. For the Heating Plant České Budějovice, Inc. the announcement of the first consumption degree was already threatening. This is somewhat unexpected contention, since the object of heating plants belong to a regulatory group A. This group of objects is able to seamlessly switch to some alternative fuel. The explanation is questionable. According to the plant manager, the limited supply of natural gas would cause the excess of emission values of coal-fired boilers, which is unacceptable and it is fined. According to the results it was already possible to answer the research questions, which are proved positive in both cases. In conclusion, I would like to recommend further explore of the issue of inclusion The Heating Plant České Budějovice in the regulatory group A. I would like to point out some errors in The Crisis Plan of South Bohemia Region, when the usage of natural gas at two objects was made different than actually is. In my opinion, I find errors in such an important document as unacceptable.

Effective System of Evaluation and Financing of Research, Development and Innovations Project: hopes and expectations
Hronová, Stanislava
Since 2004 the methodology of evaluating research and development results (later: methodology of evaluating results achieved by research institutions) applied in the Czech Republic has gone through many revisions which however have not changed the principles of what was devised as a not very suitable system. The deformations resulting from such evaluation became fully apparent when the results were directly linked to the distribution of funds provided for the long term development of a given organisation. In 2011 the Council for Research, Development and Innovation decided on the basis of discussions within expert community about the fate of evaluation methodology, negative effects it had on research institutions, partial outputs (at that time) of the RDI System International Audit in the Czech Republic to adopt the Long Term Principles of Evaluating the Research Institutions Results. These principles are the backbone of IPn Methodology Project that should provide the scientific community as well as the public administration with an instrument of evaluating research institutions and with the system of research and development in the Czech Republic respecting international standards and departmental differences, based on quantitative and qualitative criteria

The ethics code and the meaning of professional ethics
BASÍKOVÁ, Věra
Each profession has its own competence. Some of them are protected by law, other is governed by the code of ethics. Its code of ethics has doctors, nurses, journalists, workers in public administration and other. Theoretical part of my thesis I will give a definition of the code of ethics based on the literature. I would like to further specify the professions that are subject to the code of the ethics. In my thesis I chose the profession teachers, doctors and nurses. In the practical part I will try to find understanding, respect and the importance of a code of ethics in these professions. For that finding I will use a questionnaire which will evaluate the information.

Risk assessment, prevention and health support at a workplace of a selected plant in the Olomouc administrative region
SVOBODOVÁ, Klára
The objective of this work was to assess the health risk of local muscular stress of the upper limbs associated with the operator's job at a workplace of a selected plant in the Olomouc administrative region and to propose adequate provisions. Three research questions were asked: (i) "Are the permitted levels, set as percent fractions of the maximum load, complied with in the operator's job?" (ii) "Are the hygiene limits regarding the numbers of movements complied with in the operator's job?" (iii) "Which preventive actions are suitable to counteract the risk of local muscular stress during machinery assembling work?" This research was conceived as qualitative investigation. The group examined comprised employees at the position of operator at a workplace of a selected plant in the Olomouc administrative region. The research work comprised data collection by using the method of direct, non-participating and overt observation, and study of professional literature, applicable legislation and test protocols and reports. I processed the results of measurement and compared them with the hygienic limits laid down by Government Decree No. 361/2007 Coll. (as amended). Based on the assessment of the data obtained, I classed the operator's job as Category 3 with respect to the local muscular stress factor examined, based on the criteria set by Regulation No. 432/2003 Coll. (as amended). Based on the risk assessment and categorization of labour I proposed appropriate preventive measures to mitigate the effect of local muscular stress during the operators' work. I set up a simple questionnaire asking for a subjective assessment of the locomotive system stress during work as a tool for a more comprehensive assessment of the operators' local muscular stress. Based on the research I formulated the following hypothesis: "In view of the increasing trend of incidence of occupational diseases of the limbs due to overload, and taking into account the appreciable social and economic impacts of such diseases, more attention should be devoted to a systematic search, assessment and evaluation of the local muscular stress factor risk during work."
