Specialities of the corporate environment, business and cultural customs in Madagascar

In my bachelor thesis I analyze specialities of the corporate environment in Madagascar and I bring the view of the business and cultural customs of this country. The first chapter contains basic country profile of Madagascar including history, geographical information and the description of various ethnic groups, religions and languages present on Madagascar. The second chapter is concerned on the business environment, tax segment and political system. The last chapter describes trade negotiations and etiquette.

The bachelor work deals with American approach to the etiquette in business environment. The first part describes characteristics of the United states of America by means of geographical and demographic entries, historical evolution and its consequences. The second part discusses a question of entrepreneurial environment of the USA and its segmentation. The third chapter focuses on the etiquette itself which we can encounter in a business setting. A questionnaire concerning etiquette in the workplace is evaluated in the fourth chapter. The respondents were Americans working in different American companies.
Evolution of etiquette in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with everyday issues of the etiquette and their changes in the Czech history. It explains the meaning of etiquette and protocol but also focuses on the most important personalities of etiquette. It describes common rules of social etiquette as greetings, meetings, social events' behaviour. Imporatnt part of the thesis deals with common situations of business practice (visit-cards, netiquette, clothes). The thesis contains a research focused on general knowledge of etiquete in the Czech Republic.

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to get to know in the rule of behavior in professional life. Learn how to dress appropriately, master the art of good conversation and learn some of the rules of social behavior. Bachelor thesis can be divided into theoretical and practical part. The first part is a theory of business protocol, which is always accompanied by the most common transgressions. The practical part is to assess the situation in the Czech Republic based on the survey, which focuses not only on obtaining information about the business protocol, but also to test the knowledge of the issue. This thesis should be quick and simple guide to basic and practical etiquette in business and entrepreneurship, to provide any reader with a comprehensive overview of the issue and the most common transgressions.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic - business ethics. Concretely, it gives the example of ethics in the sphere of undertaker's. There are stated all of the needed terms and definitions. There is also said how ethics influenced people throw the history. Furthermore, you can find the difference between ethics and etiquette. These two terms are often misunderstood but they cohere. To make firms work well, you need to give them some rules. Code of ethics may be part of the solution.That is the reason why codes of ethics are mentioned in this thesis as well. Business background in our country and its history is mentioned here. The main person who influenced our business background was undoubtfully Mr. Tomáš Baťa. He was very precise and insisted on ethical behaviour to his employees. There is also mentioned the responsibility in business to its background and surroundings in this thesis. Then you can find how our government behaves both ethically and unethically. It was vital to write about logical reason why to use ethics. At the end you can find examples of unethical behavior of concrete undertaker's. Nevetheless, there are some positive arrangements, which are applied by the Undertaker association.

This thesis describes diplomatic protocol and particularly on its application in France. The aim of this thesis is to provide complete analysis of diplomatic protocol and to approach the principles of French protocol and ceremony on specific examples. The thesis is made of three chapters. The first chapter defines terms of protocol, diplomacy and others diplomatic terms. The second chapter is concentrated on diplomatic protocol in France. The aim of this chapter is for example an explanation of rules of ceremony, table manners and diplomatic correspondence. The third chapter is devoted to state protocol in France. This chapter concentrates on state symbols, public holiday and state honours.

Protocol and etiquette in diplomacy and business

The purpose of this thesis is to define the terms "business protocol", "state protocol", "diplomatic protocol" and "etiquette", to describe some of the rules of social behavior and explain the importance of compliance with these rules. Equally important part is form of protocol and etiquette of diplomacy, for example how follow-up contacts between the countries each other, who is regarded as the initiator, what kind of ceremonial duties exist, how looks the organization of visits or how to choose appropriate gifts. This thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first part defines the basic concepts. The second part of the work focuses on the business protocol itself. It includes such topics as social priority, introduction, business cards, clothing, letters, netiquette, organizing a business meeting, a visit of a foreign guest, an international conference and last but not least social accident. The third chapter examines diplomatic protocol and pays particular attention to the supreme visiting government officials. To obtain the necessary information has been used by professional literature and sources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. On the basis of the methods of direct observation were characterized the best and worst results, that is what is good and what is not good. It was discovered that the rules of the protocol in business circles in the Czech Republic are often violated.

In my bachelor's thesis I wanted to zoom in on the work and day-to-day agenda of the Diplomatic protocol - a section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. This section plays a very important role in diplomacy and presentation of the Czech Republic in the world. This section teaches diplomats how to act in various situations and in my opinion the knowledge of diplomatic protocol should belong to the basic amenities of diplomats. My work is dividend into 5 chapters.
Business protocol in integrated Europe

The first chapter devotes to definitions of basic terms such as protocol or business protocol, to differences between protocol and etiquette, and between social etiquette and business etiquette. The second chapter focuses on the factors influencing the European business protocol. The third chapter is devoted to the etiquette of business protocol in the European countries. It touches the topics such as punctuality and planning of business appointment, greeting, business cards, dress and appearance, names and titles, business language, conversation, non-verbal communication and gift giving etiquette.
