The thesis deals with the influence of the curing process on varnish quality of paint powder coating. The thesis includes a literary study focused on the issue of powder coating. In the experimental part of the work will be done curing of two different materials in three technically different kilns and compare the effect of firing.

Influences of pickling on coating bonding power

Works created within the engineering studies in collaboration with IDEAL-Trade service discusses the influence of pickling acids on steel material and on the same material with powder coated . Based on the literature study and consultations with employees of the company were designed each experiment, investigators removal and acid corrosion attack , another verify adhesiveness powder coatings for various periods of exposure pickled material. Experiments and tests were carried out in companies ECOS , ITS and faculty FSI.

This thesis deals with an experimental verification of powdered plastics coating on a component with a painting shop layout. Part of this thesis is looking for the best kind of a paint which meets the wishes from the company such as specific dielectric strength or cladding thickness. The selective variation is drown up into the technological project. At the end of the thesis there is a technical-economical evaluation of the project, focusing mainly on the efficiency of the investment in new mechanical equipment and on the economic return.

The thesis describes several exclusive finishes that are entirely recommended as pre-treatment for powder coating. The thesis also provides information gained through market research, focusing specifically on powder plastics and technical equipment for powder coating. Technical equipment for the existing powder coating plant of the company KOVOT Invest Ltd. is also suggested.

The powder coating is a plastic layer technology used on metal materials. The main aim is a corrosion protection. The thesis contains an analysis of particual surface pre-treatments methods suitable for powder coating, the description of several color systems, the chemical analysis of the powder colours being used today and the typical opportunities of use. This thesis includes also the description of the setting process and several types of baking ovens.
