Active thermal insulation for induction heating of specific metal parts
Ulrych, B. ; Kotlan, V. ; Doležel, Ivo
The concept of active thermal insulation is explained and its application for induction heating of specific metal parts is analyzed. Its features ale illustrated by a typical example whose results are discussed.
Indukční ohřev dlouhých hliníkových ingotů v homogenním magnetickém poli
Donátová, M. ; Karban, P. ; Doležel, Ivo
Induction heating of aluminum billets by their rotation in uniform magnetic field represents a modern technology whose purpose is to soften these workpieces before their hot forming. The paper presents a coupled integrodifferential model of the process that is used for the computation of a typical example.
Časový průběh procesů v aktuátorech pracujících na principu termoelasticity
Beneš, K. ; Dvořák, P. ; Ulrych, B. ; Doležel, Ivo
Linear electromagnetic actuators may transform electromagnetic energy into kinetic energy of straightforward moving part (plunger) in several ways. One of them is conversion of heat produced by eddy currents in a metal membrane to its deformation, which brings about pressure on the plunger. The paper presents a fundamental study of device working on principle and deals with its construction, operation parameters and optimisation.
Fieldless Methods for the Simulation of Induction Heating of 3D Non-Ferromagnetic Metal Bodies
Doležel, Ivo ; Šolín, Pavel ; Ulrych, B.
In the present study we introduce a class of novel methods for the mathematical modelling and numerical solution of the induction heating of non-ferromagnetic metal bodies in harmonic electromagnetic fields. The main advantage of the presented approach is the elimination of the surrounding air from the electromagnetic model.
Computer Modelling of Induction-Heating Based Fixing of Machine Tools
Musil, L. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Ulrych, B.
The paper deals with numerical modelling of fixing machine tools - particularly auger drills in high revolution drilling machines - by means of the thermoelastic displacements caused by induction heating of the fixing chuck spindle.
Mathematical Modeling of Induction Heating of Thin Nonmagnetic Slabs by Means of Fredholm´s Integral Equation
Doležel, Ivo ; Šolín, Pavel ; Škopek, M. ; Ulrych, B.
The paper deals with the mathematical modeling of induction heating of thin nonmagnetic slabs in the transverse electromagnetic field. The model is given by Fredholm´s integral equation describing the distribution of the eddy current density within the slab and ...
High Frequency Induction Drying of Axi-Symmetric Metal Bodies
Barglik, J. ; Doležel, Ivo ; Šolín, Pavel ; Ulrych, B.
The paper deals with the computer modelling of induction cleaning and drying surfaces of axi-symmetric non-ferromagnetic metal bodies polluted by oil or other undesired liquids before their painting.
Porovnání 2D a 3D modelu dávkovače zinku
Mach, M. ; Musil, Ladislav
The paper deals with the mathematical and computer modelling of electromagnetic zinc feeder, which is a device for exact dosing of molten zinc. 2D and 3D models of the feeder were developed, solved and the results were compared and discussed. Computations were carried out by the professional FEM-based codes FEMLAB, OPERA, QuickField and a number of single-purpose user procedures written by the authors
Posuvný indukční ohřev a související jevy v kvazi-sdružené formulaci
Karban, P. ; Ulrych, B. ; Doležel, Ivo
The paper deals with quasi-coupled numerical solution of the problem of induction heating and associated phenomena in 2D axisymmetric arrangements. The process of heating is modeled by a special algorithm respecting the temperature dependencies of various material properties and (when necessary) time variable boundary conditions. The algorithm fully developed by the authors is illustrated on an example of continual induction hardening
