Qualitative and quantitative characteristics of polyploid sturgeon sperm (Acipenseridae)
KAŠPAR, Jan
This thesis is aimed to compare 4n sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) and 8n and 12n siberian sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) sperm. Relative quantitative values and % of live spermatozoa as a qualitative factor have been compared between species. At the same time influences of four different types of substances (CPE, Ovopel, GnRHa25 and GnRHa75) on sperm quality were compared.

Studium hydrokoloidů v potravinách
Křupka, Pavel
This thesis on the study of hydrocolloids in food studies the physical properties of food hydrocolloids. The theoretical part is a literature overview of important food hydrocolloids. This part of the thesis divides individual hydrocolloids into groups according to their origin, which characterises their chemical structure and describes their functional properties and applications in food technology. The experimental part focuses on the physical and physicochemical parameters of selected hydrocolloid products and mixtures thereof. The profile physical property is viscosity, which was measured relatively using a capillary viscometer and absolutely using a rotational viscometer. Each hydrocolloid has a distinct thickening ability. This work deals with the clarification of the thickening properties of individual products within the group, as well as mixtures of different groups. The course of the viscosity of selected products was also subjected to the effects of a wide range of pH values and also a wide range of temperatures. Hydrocolloids even enable the creation of gels, and therefore the thesis also evaluates the gelling ability of selected hydrocolloidal products.

The fiscal policy analysis in phase of "budget responsibility" and their impacts on social security area
Mácha, Pavel ; Durdisová, Jaroslava (advisor) ; Kubelková, Karina (referee)
The goal of this thesis is focusing on analysis of fiscal arrangements that has been passed by the government in accordance with the public budget stabilization act, which should be proper reaction to improve bad development in public finance of the Czech Republic and in general government debt, which has been mainly caused by increasing of the mandatory social expenditures. After defining the main essence of the public finance theory, the work is focusing on quantify and evaluate the main effects of reform arrangements divided into three main parts, such as effects of taxation, effects of social sphere and effects of the health finance. The period of the concern of this analysis is the year of 2008, first year of reform arrangements validity. After evaluation, the next part of the interest is public deficit and the analysis of general government debt. The main aim is to define what are the basic factors, which affects the ratio of government debt on GDP nominal called as "relative ratio of government debt" The thesis also includes a few calculations of how the relative ratio could be if we change some of factors of determination of the model.

Assessment of effect of different methods of hormonal induction ovulation in females of common carp
BORŮVKA, Vít
By hormonally induced artificial propagation of general carp (Cyprinus carpio), originally from pond breeding, were 3 groups of stripped eggs to broodstock weighted 3829 +- 729 kg intramuscularly injected in interval of 12 hours. They were intramuscularly injected in two different doses by diffrent preparations: 1.extract of carp hypophysis (CPE) in dose 0.5 + 2,5 mg×kg-1, 2. Ovopel containing GnRHa and dopamine antagonist (DA) in doses 0.5 + 2 mg×kg-1, 3. Dagin containing GnRHa and DA in doses 5 + 20 mg×kg-1. Single groups of stripped eggs (n = 17 to 19 pcs) were placed into separated ponds. The avarage temperature of flowing water was 20.9 +- 0.9 °C. The highest ratio of stripped eggs to broodstock was observed following injection of Dagin (89.5 %) and by Ovopel (82.4 %). The highest mortality of stripped eggs to broodstock was observed by using CPE (76.5 %). The highest values of gonadosomatic index (pGSi) propagated stripped eggs were observed in groups injected by Dagin (18.4 +- 5.2 %) and Ovopel (17.6 +- 5.9 %), the lowest values were observed by using CPE (16.3 +- 6.5 %). The relative labour fertility of stripped eggs was very stable ( Ovopel 117000 +- 39000 pcs×pcs-1, Dagin 116000 +- 32000 pcs×pcs-1, CPE 115000 +- 45000 pcs×pcs-1). The highest average wet weight of one egg was 1.42 mg (CPE) and 1.59 mg (Dagin), only this variation was statically provable ( = 0.05). The period of latence from the second hormonally injection to the artificial propagation (after ovulation) was 15.5 +- 1.2 h (resp. 324 +- 25 h°) with Ovopel, with CPE 16.4 +- 1.0 h (so 341 +- 22 h°) and with Dagin 16.5 +- 0.4 h (so 345 +- 7.6 h°). The statistically important difference ( = 0.05) was observed only in period of latence between groups of fish injected by Ovopel and Dagin. The highest propagation of stripped eggs in incubation bottles was observed by using extract of Ovopel (80.9 +- 14.9 %), then by using CPE (75.0 +- 17.1 %) and Dagin (74.8 +- 9.6%). By comparing cumulate parameter, which is given by number of fertilized eggs in one kilo after hormonally injection and after 24 hours of incubation in incubation bottles (including all followed aspects: % of stripped eggs, the relative labour fertility of stripped eggs and number of fertilized eggs), were observed synthetic preparations GnRHa like more effective than CPE, which contains natural carp gonadotropin. The highest values of this parameter were found out in Ovopel groups (78000 pcs×kg-1) and Dagin groups (77000 pcs×kg-1). The lowest value was observed in CPE group (66000 pcs×kg-1).

THE EVALUATION OF DIETARY INTAKE SUBSTRATES AND NUTRIENTS IN PREGNANCY Department of Biological and Medical Sciences Petra Sovišová The right nourishment during pregnancy plays key role not only for the healthy development of fetus, but also for over-all health of future mother during pregnancy and after delivery. The aim of this study was to find out by various testing of nourishment in the group of pregnant women nutrition intake of energy, vitamins and minerals in current times in the Czech Republic. Testing was done on weekly basis of all intook nutrition in the group of randomely selected pregnant women since the second trimestr of pregnancy, different age and education, where was suspection of differency in nutrition. The study took place in the period of March to October 2006. Data were processed by NutriDan computer system. First part of my work is on theory basis. In this part I was mainly concerned by intake of lipids, sacharids, proteins and overall energy intake during pregnancy. I was mainly concerned in individual cases on their lack or overlap on individual woman during pregnancy. The results of such measurements are listed in second part of my diploma work. Volumes show, that intake of lipids, sacharides and proteins are relative equal to recommended daily dose for pregnant women in...

Androvičová, Adela ; Vávrová, Hana (advisor) ; Slunčík, Peter (referee)
Economic analysis investigates certain economic subject by using variety of different economic and mathematical-statistical methods and procedures. In the present work we perform economic analysis of wood producing company Dřevoterm, s.r.o. for the years from 2007 to 2011 based on externally available data. From approaches of economic analysis we use methods of financial analysis including analysis of absolute and relative financial ratios, pyramidal decomposition of financial ratios and global indexes of financial health. Further we analyze net working capital, costs and stocks of the company in detail. Obtained results are discussed in context of theoretically optimum values, average results of the whole wood producing industry and external factors which influenced analyzed company during past years. The results show that despite growing revenues of the company the majority of calculated indicators scored with a worsening trend and the company should focus primarily on reducing cost of revenues.

Faktory ovlivňující množství spermií v ejakulátu kanců
ŠTVERÁK, Martin
In the reproduction of pigs we have been seeing for long time seasonal and sudden declines in the production of piglets. But there are no completely known specific influencing factors or the extent of their impact on fertility of sows and boars. There are many studies dealing with the causes of decline of showing the estrus of sows and boars reducing sperm quality, but even in the educational literature or professional breeders discussions is not enough space dedicated to reducing the quantity of semen of boars. The number of sperm cells in the ejaculate plays an important role in fertilization and also has a direct impact on the smooth running of boar AI center and thus their clients. The aim of the study was to evaluate sperm counts of observed boars under the influence of the seasons and compare them with the ideal values. All the data of the number of sperm of observed boars from the years 2006 2010 were divided into groups based on the date when sperm collection was conducted. These groups were then compared statistically among themselves in terms of the average total quantity of sperm cells in the ejaculate, average sperm concentration and average volume of ejaculate. The average total number of sperm cells reached the highest values in winter, the second best results was evaluated in the fall, which was not too far from the spring results that have achieved satisfactory values. The lowest total sperm count was recorded in the summer but even these low values are according to professional literature in the standard. The average sperm concentration peaked again in the winter, but this time with a relatively small margin before spring, which also showed excellent results. Worse values were achieved in the fall and the lowest results from all fell back for the summer. Some sources even stated that the results for the fall and summer are below standard. For ejaculate volume was surprisingly best evaluated fall, but with only a slight difference the second best quality has been reached in winter. Compared to the results of the concentration of sperm cells in the ejaculate volume were recorded relatively low values in the spring, but the worst results were, as expected, again in the summer. The results show that factors related to the ongoing season have undeniable impact on sperm production of breeding boars, these factors have somewhat different effect on semen volume and sperm concentration. By all accounts, the best time to reproduce is the winter and the least favourable time is summer.

Measurement of relative variance of optical intensity
Vaníček, Jakub ; Kučera,, Petr (referee) ; Hudcová, Lucie (advisor)
The intention of this master‘s thesis is the measurment of relative variance of optical intensity. In the first place, I have been studied Kolmogorov cascade theory of turbulence and relative variance of optical intensity . In addition, I have been deal with turbulent cells, Gaussian beam, Top Hat beam and influence of the atmospheric turbulences on the intensity profile of the laser beam. Lastly I have been measured determine influence of the atmospheric turbulences on the intensity profile of the laser beam and I have been calculated relative variance of optical intensity. I have suggested the optimum beam profile in the turbulent atmosphere from acquired data.
