Phonetics in the teaching of German as a foreign language
Holá, Klára ; Machač, Pavel (referee) ; Berglová, Eva (advisor)
This thesis explains the role of phonetics in the teaching of German as a foreign language. The beginning examines the present state - here I try to target in particular the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and its parts that have to do with phonetics. Next, I explain certain terms with which I work with in most of the thesis. The next chapter concentrates on the role that phonetics play in the teaching of foreign languages. In the practical part of this work I deal with the differences of Czech and German pronunciation. The changes I discovered by comparing both languages became the fundamentals of the phonetic analysis of twenty recordings that obtained a total of 1480 analyzed documents, from which I determined that Czech students have the hardest time pronouncing the following German sounds , , , and . The task of the next analysis was to determine how the pronunciations of these problematic sounds are processed in the following text books: Delfin, Planet and Tangram. The best text book was Tangram, then Delfin and the worst was Planet. Unfortunately, none of the text books emphasize pronunciation and exercising it to a sufficient degree.

Kulhavá, Lucie ; Munková, Gabriela (advisor) ; Skála, Vít (referee)
Bachelor thesis deals with the adoption system issue in Czech Republic. It focuses primarily on the rights and needs of adopters in the adoption process and problematic parts of the adoption system. The thesis is divided into three parts. The theoretical part defines the basic terms and legal regulations of adoption and chronologically describes the process of adoption from the decision making for adoption through the submission of application form, expert assessment of applicants, completion of preparation and psychological testing to the period of waiting for the child and the period after adoption. In the methodological part is defined the conducted qualitative research, in which were interviewed various participants of the adoption process: social workers, NGO workers and adoptive parents. Results of the research are then interpreted in the last, analytical part. There were defined many problematical parts and they permeate all phases of adoption process. As significant problems can be considered lack of clarity in the motivation of applicants while entering into the adoption process, lack of credibility of social workers caused by the negative media image, the trend of increasing age of the applicants, inconsistent methodic and quality level of mandatory preparation, lack of finance and...

Employees job satisfaction analysis on company's branches
Holakovská, Lenka ; Bedrnová, Eva (advisor) ; Hubinková, Zuzana (referee)
The goal of this thesis was to define the basic terms of the problems of job satisfaction and to make the job satisfaction analysis in the chosen company, which name will be not published , because of the inside information protection. The necessary data for the analysis were obtained via questionnaire, in which took part 122 employees from 13 different branches. Respondents were divided into three groups according to the performed work position and the intensity of the contact with clients. Results of research were processed for each individual group. It allows to catch better the differences in the group satisfaction. On a basis of results were pointed out the most problematic areas and suggested concrete steps, which could lead to job satisfaction increase in researched branches.

Analysis of the performance review of the territorial self-governing unit
Němečková, Stanislava ; Svoboda, Michal (advisor) ; Kotrba, Rudolf (referee)
The thesis is focused on the problematic of reviewing the territorial self-governing unit in the Czech Republic. The goal is to compare the approach of the audit firm and approach of a regional office to perform the examination of the TSU. The first chapter defines the general characteristics of the public sector. The second focuses on a specific area of public administration, which represents local government. The third chapter describes the rules and obligations that are related to the budget management of TSU. The fifth chapter, which summarizes the specifics of the accounting and reporting of selected entities. Chapter five is still theoretical definition of audit in the public administration and distinguishes notions of audit and economic review of the TSU. The last part practically compares the prerequisites required for the implementation of the performance review, individual activities conducted under review, the result of these activities, which is the so-called report on the outcome of the examination of the TSU and summarizes the differences. Conclusion of the work shows that it is not important who provides an economic review, but how and especially in what quality is the review carried out.

Nonlinear analysis of reinforced concrete foot failure
Dubina, Radek ; Václav,, Veselý (referee) ; Eliáš, Jan (advisor)
Reinforced concrete monolithic feet are one kind of shallow foundation used mainly under column systems. These systems transfer the load from upper floors through columns to the feet and through them to the foundation soil. Interaction between the foot and the foundation soil plays an important role due to the system sensitivity to the uneven settlement. Feet has to resist shear induced by vertical force and bending moment caused by stress in footing bottom. The work is devoted to design of the foot according to European standard Eurocode 2. It is then focused on numerical simulation of foot failure and calculation of the corresponding maximal vertical force in the column using a 3D model with nonlinear material models of subsoil, reinforcement and concrete. The calculations are done in software ATENA 3D for different variants of subsoil, reinforcement and foot shape. Results according to European standard and nonlinear analysis are compared.
