Psychological Context of Volunteer Fire Departments

The thesis Psychological Context of Volunteer Fire Departments deals with motivation and inducement of individuals both to become members of a volunteer fire department (hereinafter VFD) and to carry on doing this voluntary activity. It discusses how a VFD membership affects values and attitudes of its members and it also deals with attitudes towards women members of VFDs. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. Chapter One of the theoretical part specifies the conception of volunteering. Chapter Two discusses the conception of motivation and deals with motivation of volunteers. Other chapters dwell on values, interests and social impact of a VDF membership. In the practical part of the thesis the methods of qualitative research are described and the results of the research are presented.

Bednářová, B. Expectations of students of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno from their future employment. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel university in Brno, 2014. Bachelor thesis is focused on the expectations of the students of the Faculty of Business and Economics at Mendel University in Brno from their future employment and the factors that influence them. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the values and needs of the indivi-dual motivation, emotion and emotional experience and expectations of graduates in relation to the labor market. Partial aim is also to find out how students work with rational/emotional choice and expectations. The second partial aim is to find out what percentage of college students in the study obtained a professional ex-perience and whether this professional experience was associated to their branch of study in college. In the practical part there is evaluated the questionnaire, which was completed by 102 students of bachelor's degrese at Mendel University in Brno in the period December 2013 to February 2014.
The Effect of Kendo on Trainee's Values

The diploma thesis is aimed at investigating the influence of the educational system of Kendo on the values and attitudes of practitioners, both in terms of perceived contrast between the values and attitudes anchored in Czech (Central European) cultural context and values and attitudes anchored in the cultural context of Japan. In terms of methodology, this will be an empirical research based on survey (5 standardized questions) and an interview.

The theme of a bachelor's degree its find out values of today's youths in relation to work ethic. The aim is to find out the importance (value) of full time job and young people motivation to work. To compare findings between pupils of Secondary (higher) vocational school and Secondary (higher)medical school. The bachelor's degree has two parts; theory and practical part. The theory part describes in a nutshell period of adolescence. It's focuses on origin (beginning) and orientation values in children. It describes influences from family, school and peers (friends). It is concerned with motivation, capability and interests as an important point of view from whole human actions. The practical part is from (my own - empirical) experience which is focused on today's youths meaning of having a job, their motivation and their plans for the future. Findings from questionnaire are processed in a table. The theory part brings together interpretations of the findings, its aim is to get across young's people idea about full time work.
Quality of life for children at primary school in Zliv.

In this diploma thesis deals with the issue of quality of life for children in primary school Zliv. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on characterizing the quality of life, a period of pubescence and the basic needs of children. In the practical part deals with research using questionnaires, which determines the value orientation and other areas of life-style, health and happiness. In the final stage, I present the results obtained, which are evaluated and graphically presented.
Ethical aspects of homelessness - Death on the streets

This thesis deals with ethical dimension of homeless people´s life and dying. It is devoted to ethical questions of homelessness phenomenon and is primary aimed at dignity and reasonability of life on the street, value system of homeless persons, influenced by the way of their life, and feeling about their own mortality. The purpose of this thesis is to analyse how the homeless people feel about the reasonability of life and their own mortality, in the framework of their value system, and about their responsibility for their situation or if they devolve it to others or state. Using qualitative research techniques it analyses realized controlled interviews with homeless persons in thier own environment, that helps to clarify their perception of life and dying on the street. Research aggregate was made up of 15 homeless persons living in the territory of the city České Budějovice.
Social Work as Human Rights Profession

The thesis is concerning human rights legislation, civil society, theory of social work and work experience, and values that mean solution for social work experience. It is looking for an answer to a question, whether the social work is in fact human rights profession, and whether social workers perform a role of a mediator between a society and social work clients. Social work resigned on theoretical development, it is demoted to social politics execution. It does not play the role of the mediator between the society and the clients. There are violated human rights in the Czech Republic or human rights are not followed completely. Social work fails to prevent violation of human rights.
Social work as a work managed by professional values

The identity of social work profession seems to be inconsistent. This is caused by different concept perception within the profession. One way of building greater stability of social work identity can be put the emphasis on the importance of values in the profession and their uniform definition. These two aspects are the main fulfillment of this Diploma thesis, in which the main aim is to reflect the concept of values in social work in relation to the perception and access to the professional identity of social work. The theme of this paper is built by defining the concept of value, which prevents mismatched importance in defining specific values in social work. The theme of following chapters is the role of values and definitions of individual values of social work based on career goals, code of ethics, foreign and Czech authors who write about the ethics of social work. The work is complemented by opinions of social workers who were involved in the research part of the project of Grant Agency of South Bohemian University No. 117/2013/H investigating the concept of quality of social work in relation to social worker´s selfdefining and his helpful professions.
Celebrations and Traditions in Present Family with Preschool Children

The target of this bachelor thesis is to find out what holidays and festivals are kept in the family with pre-school children nowadays. It also focuses on the form the fesivals and holidays are celebrated. The theoretical part provides the characteristics of particular festivals and holidays during the year. These special occasions can be understood as festive rituals containing a lot of values for further lifetime. Another part ot the thesis deals with the family, mainly its socializing and educational functions, which is directly related to passing the traditions on other generations. The practical part gives the description of the results of the qualitative research carried out with parents of pre-school children. This investigative survey contributed to the finding which festivals and holidays are currently celebrated and how. The contribution of this finding is a deeper understanding of the modern family and its application in pre-school education which supplements the family care.
Casual link between leisure activities and juvenile crime

This thesis presents the relation between the manifestations of crime and the use of leisure time among youth, which were searched in the research, the delinquent behavior of minors and adolescents, who are committed to the delinquency Prachatice, in the years 2009-2012, assuming that young offenders are commit crimes, as the most serious degree of risk behavior, almost always in my spare time. In this work the author tries to find out what connection can be found between youth criminal manifestations and use of leisure time of youth.
