Relation of standard and substandard Czech in the newspaper writing style of a sports interview
Ouředník, Jan ; Kvapilová Brabcová, Radoslava (advisor) ; Vybíral, Petr (referee)
The aim of this work has been to prove the presence of non-literary (substandard Czech) phenomena in the newspaper writing style of a sports interview. Furthermore, it has been to inform the readers about what is characteristic for this genre and what are the specifics of interviews with Lukáš Pollert. Last but not least, I considered it important to explain the term substandard Czech, mention its most typical elements and how it has developed during several decades. I have reached the conclusion that the texts of the interviews vary greatly with respect to the language, even though I have completely disregarded their lexical aspect. Regarding the standard and substandard phonetic and morphological level, it seems that authors have the idea that some forms of substandard Czech are also an equal part of the written style, which should basically correspond to the rules of standard language, as their standard counterparts. And their informality, casualness and spontaneity consist just in this fact. However, this should not present an inconvenience to a consistent usage of only standard, and now even considered as literary, forms in some cases. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Moudrá, Anna ; Majerová, Radka (advisor) ; Stehlíková, Olga (referee)
This thesis tries to found out whether the suspected dysphasia influences sign language acquisition of an intelligent adolescent non-speaking boy who suffers from developmental anarthria. Nevertheless, he can understand spoken language 100 % but he is not able to learn written language functionally. It deals with the differentiation of the diagnoses of developmental dysphasia and developmental anarthria with suspected dysphasia. The work focuses on particular forms of alternative and augmentative communication and advantages and disadvantages of their use by the boy who suffers from developmental anarthria. This thesis points out that therapy is comfortable because it adequately offers Czech Sign Language as a mode of communication for the education and everyday communication for the boy who has suffered from developmental anarthria since he was 13 to now at age 19. He has partial motor disfunction in his hands but the fine motor skills of his right hand are only partially disabled and therefore his communication in Czech Sign Language is interpretable. Czech Sign Language is his L2 but this is the only language production of the boy. In the core of the thesis there are three types of video-recordings of the expressions in Czech Sign Language of the 18-year-old boy who suffers from the developmental...

Testy dobré shody v bodových procesech.
Perevorskyy, Taras ; Mrkvička, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pawlas, Zbyněk (referee)
The main objective of this thesis is to carry out a comparative analysis of the now available point process model tests. A script file has been written implementing the different point process test methods in the R program. With the help of this software, a simulation study has been conducted resulting in over 500 000 tests. A great attention has been paid to the only recently published envelopes test. Except for envelopes test other two simulation tests have been considered along with the J-test and the quadrant-count test. As test subjects 5 different process families were chosen. The obtained results have been carefully analyzed and the interesting patterns have been documented.
