Integrated Tariff of the European Communities TARIC

The purpose of this thesis is to give complete information about customs system within European Union. It contains explanation of general principals and legal regulations on which international trade is based. The thesis provides detailed introduction into the basic regulations of the Combined Nomenclature and leads us through the process of classifying of the goods in the Combined Nomenclature.

Tariff and non-tariff tools are one instrument of foreign business policy. This bachelor thesis focused on their evolution since 1989. Theoretic part is focusing on delimitation of meaning tariff and non-tariff tools in the development of Czech Republic and its movement to the entrance to the European Union after 2004 and shortly after 2008. Practical part in the first part deals with development tariff and non-tariff tools on the part of their application pass a law and in the second parts analysis development selection duty in years 2000 as far as 2008 according to Common Customs Tariff of agricultural commodities. At the close is check conjecture about decrease height duty on agricultural commodities after entrance to the European Union.
Customs Policy in EU (chosen aspects)

The aim of my bachelor thesis was to describe clearly and comprehensibly chosen aspects of customs policy in EU, so that the work could be valuable for other readers as well. The work itself is divided into four main chapters. First chapter is about common commercial policy of EU. Second chapter deals with main documents and regulations that represent a legislative frame for EU customs policy. Third chapter describes bilateral and multilateral relations of EU with chosen countries and regional organizations. Last chapter is devoted to the topic of origin of goods.
Foreign trade operations of accounting entity

This work takes up a subject of foreign trade in the view of Czech companies and describes some important areas, which are connected with these operations. Among others the work describes forms of entrance to a foreign market, forms of transport, customs services, insurance, INTRASTAT system and customs procedures. The main subject of the work is the impact of foreign trade on accounting. The most important problem is foreign currency in connection to receivables and liabilities. Next part of the work is about value added tax in foreign trade. Closing part shows an example from common practice, on which are demonstrated all theoretical problems.
E-customs´ systems and projects and their implementation in the Czech Customs administration

Diploma work called "E-customs'systems and projects and their implementation in the Customs administration of the Czech Republic" is intended to provide interested parties with an overview of systems, projects and key issues related to the evolution of the European electronic customs initiative and the present state of play especially in the Czech Customs administration. Subject of e-Customs is a collection of information customs systems and projects in order to exchange data and communicate between the customs and economic operators in a secure manner. Systems and project of e-Customs are set up in the individual parts of the present work with the stress of the link to legal, operational and technological instruments, both at Community and national level to allow for an efficient implementation of electronic customs systems. The work includes evaluation of the successfully launched and today stable transit and export systems and recommendation to accept measures leading to higher efficiency from the side of the Czech customs administration. The work is a sufficient information source of the e-Customs programme devoted not only to employees of the Czech Customs administration, but to all subjects related to customs procedures.
The role of customs procedures in the European Union.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to describe simply and clearly the issue of customs procedures in the European Union (EU) and to specify its signification for this integration group. The thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first one I am dealing with a brief historical development of the EU and with three pillars on which it is built. I am putting accent on the Common trade policy. In the second chapter I am attending to the EU relations with third countries and the agreements concluded with them. In the third part I am defining basic customs regulations of the European Union - the Customs Code and the Common customs tariff. In the last, fourth, part I am describing customs procedures, customs value and debt and particular customs regimes.
Common trade policy of EU with focus on the relations between EU and Russia

The main topic of the thesis is the Common Commercial Policy of European Union that began with the liberalization of internal trade and the integration of the foreign trade of the member states. It describes historical process of trade policy's development along with the actual problems. This part is explaining why the Common Commercial Policy is so meaningful nowadays. Very important part of the thesis is dedicated to the common rules, which EU uses not only in its internal trade, but also in foreign trade with third states. Next part describes trade relations of EU based on agreements between the Community and other non-EU countries or international organizations. The agreement can be based on bilateral relations between the EU and trade partners or in form of multilateral relations under WTO. Special attention must be paid to the actual trade relations between the Community and Russia, while the importance of Russian Federation in international relations constantly rises. Before understanding the role of Russia for the EU is very important to look at the position of Russian in the world economy and its perspectives in the future. The thesis describes economic, political and trade relations between the EU and Russian federation from the period of its rise up to date. The main advantages from the Common Commercial Policy can be found at the end of the thesis.
Harmonizovaný systém popisu a číselného označování zboží v obchodní a celní agendě

Práce analyzuje a hodnotí oblast celní politiky České repuliky před vstupem ČR do Evropské unie a po jejím vstupu s ohledem na problematiku zařazování zboží do Harmonizovaného systému. Práce vymezuje hlavní pojmy týkající se oblasti zařazování zboží do kombinované nomenklatury. Praktická část je zaměřena na aplikaci Všeobecných interpretačních pravidel při zařazování zboží do Harmonizovaného systému a na příkladu ukazuje zařazení dvou vybraných výrobků, a to tabáku, tabákových výrobků a nápojů a lihovin do kombinované nomenklatury. Poukazuje na základní předpisy a nařízení EU a národní legislativu, která tuto činnost upravuje.
Role of Customs Operation in International Business

Práce je zaměřena na analýzu vývoje celnictví ve kontextu vývoje mezinárodního obchodu. Skládá se ze tř. části. První část je zaměřená na multilaterální dohody a jejích vliv na vývoj cel. Druhá část pojednává o Společné obchodní politice EU. Třetí část analyzuje celní legislativní rámec Společenství. Poslední čtvrtá část popisuje postup celního řízení.
Vývoj zahraničně obchodní politiky ČR v souvislosti se vstupem do Evropské unie

Práce se zabývá identifikací hlavních změn v zahraničně obchodní politice České republiky, které byly způsobeny přistoupením k Evropské unii. Vychází z popisu této politiky jak v rámci EU, tak v ČR v předvstupním období. Komparací těchto dvou pramenů potom získává hledané změny zahraničně obchodní politiky a hodnotí také dopady našeho vstupu na podnikatelský sektor.
