Simulation of synthetic diffusion tensor data
Labudová, Kristýna ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Labounek, René (advisor)
This work deals with different approaches to imaging of diffusion intensity with magnetic resonance. Individual approaches are described and compared. Gaussian model for approximation of diffusion profile is analysed and mathematically determined in details. The next part of this work concerns about process of simulation synthetic diffusion tensor data, adding noise to data and estimation of diffusion tensor from noisy data. Estimation’s accuracy is rated according to deviation of fractional anisotropy of estimated and original tensor and also according to deviation of the main eigenvectors of both tensors. Accuracy of the estimation is evaluated automatically with the programme. There is realization of graphical interface for simulation as well as for automatical evaluation of results described in details. At the end of this work all results are processed and commented and there is also recommendation for optimal adjustment of the data acquisition. 120 gradient directions are the most optimal of all analysed direction. It provides sufficient accuracy of results with optimal time of data acquisition which is suitable for clinical praxis.

The nonstationary motion of solid body in a liquid

Therapeutic bandages and their aplication in nursing care
PÁLKOVÁ, Hana
Abstract The topic of the bachelor thesis is ``Therapeutic Bandages and Their Utilization in Nursing Care{\crqq}. Therapeutic bandages have currently been one of the options how to treat wounds. Wound treatment by means of these bandages is faster and more efficient, provided that the bandages are correctly selected. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis contains a brief description of skin, wounds and wound healing process, including documentation, wound debridement, division of rinsing solutions, therapeutic bandages, re-bandaging of wounds, a psychological approach of a nurse to a patient, and an article on the Česká společnost pro léčbu chronické rány (Czech Association for Chronic Wound Treatment). The bachelor thesis has two objectives and four hypotheses. Objective 1: To ascertain practical utilization of the methods using therapeutic bandages. Three hypotheses were raised in this respect. Hypothesis 1: Nurses prefer conservative methods to therapeutic bandages. Hypothesis 2: Nurses apply therapeutic bandages inappropriately. Hypothesis 3: Wet healing is used more in hospitals than in consulting rooms of general practitioners and home-care agencies. Objective 2: To ascertain awareness of nurses in healthcare facilities of wet healing. One hypothesis was raised in order to attain this objective. Hypothesis 4: Nurses are not sufficiently informed about wet healing. The objectives have been attained by means of a quantitative research using the technique of questionnaires. The research set consisted of 108 nurses from the selected wards in Nemocnice České Budějovice, a.s. (Hospital of České Budějovice) and Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady (Královské Vinohrady University Hospital), nurses from consulting rooms of general practitioners and nurses from home-care agencies in České Budějovice. The research has provided answers to the hypotheses. Hypothesis 1 has not been confirmed; nurses prefer therapeutic bandages. Hypothesis 2 has not been confirmed; nurses apply the bandages correctly. Hypothesis 3 has been confirmed; wet healing is used more in hospitals. Hypothesis 4 has not been confirmed; nurses are sufficiently informed about wet healing of wounds. This thesis may be used as an informational or educational material aimed at improving the quality of provision of nursing care with regard to usage of therapeutic bandages.

Readiness municipal police in crisis situations in selected municipalities with extended powers in the South Bohemian Region.
BAREŠ, Jaroslav
Dissertation on ,,Preparedness Municipal Police Force for states of emergency in selected villages with extended activities in South Bohemian Region" was compiled from main reason, that this status is not described anywhere. First goal of this dissertation was charting preparedness in selected city police for solving situations, which are reason for announcements of state of emergency and then to confirm or disprove two specified hypotheses. First goal of this dissertation was to suggest a possibility of improvement preparedness city police force with taking into the size of villages with extended activities, based on obtained information and on SWOT analysis. Second goal of the dissertation was to evaluate financial security preparedness city police force on state of emergency in selected villages with extended activities on South Bohemian area. During process of this dissertation were used literary sources, existing legislation, existing internal documents and internet ,quantitative research, structured interviews. Subsequently to this were made SWOT analysis, which together with outputs acquired from done by quantitative and qualitative research, completed preparedness of selected city police force and also showed the possibility of improvement preparedness city police force in both of examined groups of city police force. The work structure consists of the common characteristics of the public administration and the local government, and especially of the status of the villages with extended activities and their activities within the security system of the Czech Republic. The next part of the work describes the states of emergency, their brief characteristics and their integration to the legislature of the Czech Republic. The legal adjustment, it is progress and its current state of the city police force was described in the part about the city police force, with all the information regarding its activities, overall introduction of the city police force in the individual villages with extended activities alongside with the partition of the city police force to two groups. Also the budget of the city police force was described, because of the emergency states and the budget alone is the part of villages with extended activities' budget that described the areas of income and all the expenses. The next part of this work is focused on the graphical and statistical elaboration of the survey and subsequently, the results of the interviews are published and they are linked directly to the SWOT analysis. With the evaluation of these methods, the conclusion was made. And the conclusion states the following: "From the technical, theoretical, personal and material view, the city police force is sufficiently prepared, but the readiness itself differs in the various villages with extended activities, because of their wealth and area (some are smaller, and some are bigger). Also the surveys have shown some differences between the theoretical knowledge and practical experiences between the police officers. The structured interviews have also shown some differences in the technical equipment. The differences were discovered in the various co-operation levels with other security forces and organizations. The SWOT analysis has shown various strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that are influencing the actions of the city police force. Alongside with that, several strategies based on the own investigation were proposed for the individual city police force's to improve their readiness status. With this proposal, a new general content of training was proposed in the legislative for the chief officers of the city police force." The submitted dissertation has proven that the both hypothesis are true. This conclusion is made and based on the surveys, SWOT analysis and the interviews.

Ekonomická sladěnost České republiky s eurozónou ve světle finanční krize
Hájek, Jan ; Mertlík, Pavel (advisor) ; Cingl, Lubomír (referee)
This paper deals with the issue of synchronization of the Czech economy and the economy of the eurozone. The OCA theory which is key theoretical basis for the analysis contained in the paper is briefly described in the first part. In the second part cyclical and structural synchronization is evaluated by the means of correlation coefficients of the development of GDP, industrial production, inflation and interest rates. The obtained results show sufficient level of synchronization, impacts of the financial crisis also rather contributed to the current level of synchronization. Arguments for and against synchronization are discussed in the third part as well as mutual dependency of the both economies. Two quarters time lag of the Czech GDP growth rate behind the eurozone is discovered in the pre-crisis period. At the end OCA- index for the Czech Republic is recalculated, the value of the OCA-index for the Czech Republic is the lowest among tested countries.

Závislost na ropných výnosech, ceny ropy a měnové kurzy: analýza denních dat
Budkov, Roman ; Zouhar, Jan (advisor) ; Formánek, Tomáš (referee)
This paper studies the relationship between the oil prices and exchange rates of oil exporting countries, in terms of their dependence on oil rents. The study is based on data at the daily frequency over the period 2005-2015. In the first chapter, the data set and basic characteristics of the countries are described. The second chapter represents the econometric framework for the practical section. Applying a vector error correction model mainly produced controversial results. Analysis based on a GARCH approach found a positive relationship between the value of the currencies and the oil prices, although the link with the oil rents dependence is not sufficiently evident. The paper also supports stylized facts, such as a negative relationship between the U.S. dollar value and the oil prices.
