Production and Modifications of the Primary Legislation in the Countries V4 and the Austria
Cvrček, František
The author deals with a quantitative description of the production and modifications of the primary legislation in the countries V4 and its comparison with the Austria. The methodology is based on the analyze of data from official information systems of the countries above mentioned. It seems, that the countries V4 move in a different direction then the Austria. We can observe the extreme increase in the production of modifications in the countries V4 after 1990. The situation described on the level of simple graphs shows very dangerous trends in the countries V4, which head for the decline of legal orders in these countries.

Kvantitativní uvolňování a riziko růstu inflace v USA
Jarošová, Marie
The thesis is focused on quantitative easing, which used the U.S. central bank for the third time in a few years, to deepen the expansionary monetary policy. There is examining the relationship between quantitative easing and inflation, as the sharp rise in inflation is considered a major risk associated with quantitative release an. Relationship between quantitative easing and inflation is observed by means of simple regress analysis (using the OLS) and the moving correlation (rolling correlation) between each wheel QE with regard to the development of mortgage, financial and debt crisis.

Quantitative and qualitative spatial distribution of bed capacity and ancillary services within a defined territory Trebon
VROBELOVÁ, Lenka
Bachelor thesis deals with quantitative and qualitative spatial distribution of bed capacity and ancillary services within a defined territory Trebon. At the beginning the thesis deals with the definition of tourism and consequently its theory. In the next section is developed characteristic of the defined area, divided into the physical-geographical and socio-geographical part. In the main analytical section based on my own data collection, I appraise the quantitative bed capacity based on the inventory, the quality of bed capacity and ancillary services, the bed capacity by individual micro regions, and time and space relation of distribution of bed capacity. The work is supplemented by tables, graphs and maps.

Expression analysis of selected regulation factors in hop with relation to symptoms of viroid pathogenesis
FÜSSY, Zoltán
The aim of this work was to determine whether there are besides morphogenetic and metabolomic changes in viroid-infected plants also some alterations in the expression of transcription factors (TFs) known from our previous work to be involved in the secondary metabolites production, namely HlMyb1, HlMyb3, HlbHLH, HlbZIPA and HlbZIP2 TFs. Infectious vectors were prepared containing dimers of two closely related viroids- hop stunt viroid (HSVd) and cucumber pale fruit viroid (CPFVd). To achieve infection of hop (Humulus lupulus L.), biolistic inoculation of young shoots was performed. Hop cv. Admiral was chosen as a model for our experiments, because of its high flavonoid content in leaves. Infection of hop with both of these viroid species was proven by means of Northern hybridization and dot-blot techniques. Plants infected with HSVd showed serious symptoms such as stunted growth, epinasty and rugosity of leaves. Interestingly, decoloration of the petioles of the plants infected with HSVd was observed, maybe as a result of lower anthocyanins production. These symptoms were similar but milder in CPFVd-infected hops. On plants bearing symptoms, HPLC analyses were performed and compared to controls to detect changes in the levels of flavonol glycosides, phenolic acids, bitter acids and xanthohumol. In HSVd-infected hop leaves and petioles, significant decrease in the contents of flavonol glycosides and phenolic acids was observed. On the other hand, an increase in the amount of xanthohumol and bitter acids was detected in HSVd-infected tissues compared to healthy controls. Unlike to HSVd infection, the decrease of all analyzed secondary metabolites was observed in CPFVd-infected material. This difference suggests an alternative response of metabolome pathways to CPFVd-caused pathogenesis in comparison to HSVd. Semiquantitative RT PCR was performed to assay levels of TFs in healthy and infected hop tissues. Quantitative RealTime analyses of putative hop transcription factors HlbZIPA and HlbZIP2 were carried out using RNA isolated from HSVd-infected petioles. Increased mRNA levels of bZIP TFs were detected in infected material, suggesting an involvement of these factors in the response of the host plants to HSVd infection. Using thermodynamic methods of TGGE and heteroduplex analysis, several sequence variants of HlbZIP2 were idetified. According to aminoacid sequence alignment, this putative factor belongs to a group of bZIP proteins known for ABA/stress signalling in A. thaliana.

Socioeconomic and environmental aspects of country life (municipality of Dražíč case study)
KUCHVÁLEK, Tomáš
This thesis discusses socioeconomic and environmental aspects of the country life in the context of the South Bohemian Region. The practical part is mostly focused on Dražíč village and its evaluation and comparison with other chosen villages across the districts. Quantitative and qualitative methods were used for this comparison. To be specific, methods such as interview with the mayor, analysis of the statistical data and web pages evaluation were applied.

Diffusion Weighted Imaging and Other Quantitative MRI Methods in the Diagnostics of Selected CNS Diseases
Keller, Jiří ; Kalvach, Pavel (advisor) ; Hluštík, Petr (referee) ; Hájek, Milan (referee)
The aim of this study was to assess the scope of exploitation of the diffusion weighted imaging and other quantitative MR methods in the clinical diagnostics. We calculated the normal values of fractional an- isotropy (FA) in our group of healthy volunteers and proved FA depen- dence on age in some regions of brain using regression analysis. The relationship was quadratic in the splenium of callosal body, the left pre- central gyrus and in the pyramidal tract at the level of mesencephalon on the right. Linear decrease of FA with age was found in the rostrum of callosal body, in the white matter of frontal lobes, in the anterior limb of internal capsule on both sides and in the pyramidal tract at the level of mesencephalon on the left. In all measured parts of basal ganglia FA in- creased. Based on our data set, we propose a non-linear colour look-up table (LUT) to enhance the pathologic values. The use of this LUT is presented in patients with several neurological disorders. Quantitative methods were used also for assessment of the group of patients suffering from ALS. The changes we expected in the posterior limb of internal capsule were not significant, therefore we suppose that the presence of T2 hyperintensity in this region is not a reliable marker of the disease. T2 relaxometry detected the...

Linguistic regime of the EU in practise: comparison of accessibility of the documents in Czech, French and English on the website of the Court of Justice of the EU
BAUEROVÁ, Eva
The topic of this work is the European Union's language regime, in practice, compared to the availability of documents in Czech, French and English language on the website of the Court of Justice of the European Union. First, it will be referred to the performance of the European Court of Justice and the status of the institutions of the European Union. Furthermore, to better grip the topic will be presented to the organization and powers of the Court of Justice of the European Union. Then the work will focus on the language regime of the European Union in general and smoothly moves to the analysis of languages within the EU Court of Justice. After outlining the general rules will be followed by an analysis of available documents of the Court in those languages, with regard to the principle of multilingualism of the European Union and its practical application. Analysis of documents will be preceded by an outline form of web pages of the Court. At the end the analysis of the availability of documents will be evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively.

Qualitative and quantitative analysis of clay soils
Šašek, Petr ; Viani, Alberto ; Mácová, Petra
Smectite-to-illite conversion is an important mineralogical reaction that occurs during the diagenesis ofargillaceous sediment. Illite–smectite clay minerals are ubiquitous in sedimentary basins and they have been linked to the maturation, migration and trapping of hydrocarbons, rock cementation, evolution of porewater chemistry during diagenesis and the development of pore pressure. But, despite the importance of these clays, their structures are controversial. By combining layers of octahedra and tetrahedra several types of layered structures may be produced, which can form various types of clay minerals in nature. Clay minerals are divided into three main groups: kaolinite, smectite and illite. The aim of the study was to qualitatively and quantitatively analyse the clay minerals in soil samples and identification of unknown mineral found by exploration works. For this purpose XRD, Raman spectroscopy and SEM were employed.
