What I like to watch? Inquiry of preschool age children's visual preferences.

The thesis, entitled "What I like to watch?" is aimed at inquiry of preschool age children's visual preferences. Whole work purpose is to realize a didactical project in the kindergarden and find out preschool children's visual preferences through art activites and artefiletics. Parents' information are also very important contribution because it contains important facts about preschool children's visual preferences.
Use of waste material at nursery school during art and creative activities

This work deals with art and creative activities with the use of natural and waste material in pre-school. It refers to materials which can be used and worked with in pre-school. The work consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part is focused on the questions concerning development of pre-school children and their ability to manipulate and work with waste materials. The activities are incorporated in the school curriculum. The following overview characterizes particular kinds of waste materials and their further use. The practical part lists art ideas of how to use waste materials in pre-school. All activities have been performed in a single class pre-school and adapted to the level of children´s ability of all age categories.
Development drawings of preschool children

A bachelor thesis is devided into two parts a theoretical and a practical part. The target of this thesis is to monitor the progress in drawing of preschool children and to outline how a teacher can support this progress. In a theoretical part a preschool child is characterized by accent on a progress of his visual and drawing exhibition. A visual activity, especially the progress of drawing exhibition, is associated with planning of activities in a kindergarten (following the class educational program, school eduational program). In a practical part I form my own program which focuses on a progress of drawing exhibition which I realised practically with children in a kindergarten. I practice a pedagogical diagnosis of children's drawing exhibition before the start and after the end of the program. I monitor a progress of drawing of an individual child. For outlining of drawing out of a kindergarten, I hand out questionnares to parents in order to find out how children draw at home.
Artistic activities in kindergarten

The main point of the bachelor thesis is to find out which art techniques and methods are used in a nursery school, whether they use any new and untraditional techniques and materials. The theoretical part is focused on pre-elementary child development, related art techniques and methods as a part of the nursery school educational program. The practical part contains interviews with teachers and children and describes modern techniques and methods that I would suggest to employ.
Art activities as a tool of understanding the sense of advent in the younger school age children´s leisure time.

The objective of this bachelor's work is, that younger school age children can through art activities better understand the original advent purpose. The theoretical part is focusing on leisure time definition, casual education, characteristic of the younger school age, development of cognition processes of the younger school age children and on advent, including some advent symbols. The practical part is comprised by art project, which is realized in the children´s leisure time.
Techniques of modeling in kindergarten

This thesis deals with the modeling techniques in kindergarten. There is an art project created by modeling, which is divided into three groups according to the material used. In each group are two art ideas for working with children. In the theoretical part describes the children's artistic expression, the role of art education in kindergarten, the development of artistic expression, modeling in kindergarten, modeling clay, and especially in modeling methodology management in children. Furthermore ceramics in kindergarten, technical guidelines for working with clay, ceramic materials, glazes and ceramics rules for the novice. The practical part consists of visual modeling project for which they were designed with three ideas art modeling materials. Each theme is described in detail, is given as the procedure needs and motivational activities. These suggestions are verified in practice in three kindergartens. The work is accompanied by photographs.
Application of creative activities as part of the socialization of young adults serving a prison sentence

This thesis focuses on art activities as part of the socialisation of young adult prisoners within a social work setting. It is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The first part defines some basics terms, the characteristics of the target group with an emphasis on the prison sentence and activities necessary for incarceration. It also delimits pedagogy and the pedagogical disciplines related to imprisonment. Also in the theoretical part concepts connected with art activities are divided: art and socialization and their meaning in human life. The practical part was carried out in the prison in České Budějovice and was focused on young adults serving sentence. The knowledge from the theoretical part was applied with particular reference to the author´s project: ?Putování malého prince?, which was focused on the development of creativity and cooperation in the framework of socialization. It offers one of the possibilities how imprisoned people can spend their free time meaningfully.
Perception of Art and its Practise in the Free Time Activities with Children and Young People

The subject of diploma paper was anallysis of perception children and youth related to visual art. In the first chapter of theoretic part diploma paper I explain definitions related to the subject, i.e. that is fine art, aesthetics, culture, kitsch and relation of this species to the human being. In next chapters I acte problems, definition, delimitation of the odd time and I explain possibilities of transmission visual art to children and young people. The theoretic part of diploma paper is dedicated to possibilities of confrontation children and youth people with the visual art through various cultural institutions. This part of diploma paper is ended with basic dividing of spare-time activitity organizations. The practical part of diploma paper is dedicated to visual art project {\clq}qWho knows Piaristic square``, {\clq}qConversation`` and {\clq}qEntities in the nature``. Visual art expression of subjective experience evoked by visual perception of concrete image is the aim of this project. The project is intended for the children and youth in age between 8 and 24 years. I confront by means of projects both various components of visual art (painting, sculpture and architecture) and various movement epoch (gothic style, baroque and modern style). I wanted find the way how to transmit visual art to children and youth enjoyable, educational with aesthetic value. The end of the diploma paper summaries pieces of knowledge and perceptions from the visual art courses and projects.
Motivation Towards the Visual Arts via Art Techniques in Free Time Pedagogy

Motivation youth towards the visual arts via art techniques in free time pedagogy. The purpose of bachelor work was analyse by means of young people motivation to positive affinity to plastic art. Theoretic part put brain to explication basic concepts, which be related to work theme. The first chapters I explained bacis consepts, namely conception art, plastic art and aesthetics in human relation to mentioned values. In the next chapters I put mind to guestions of young people, guestions and importance of the free time. The last theme of theoretic part is motivation. Motivation in the concepts definition and motivation youth to visual art activities by means of today`s visual arts projectes. Practical part put mind to the plastic project ,,Colour sensation of music``. The purpose of the project is visual expession of subjective experience, which was induced by the auditory sensation of music. The project is specialised for young people. Now it`s harder motivate them to every activities with the visual activities. So I wanted to find one way to motivate young people to visual activity trough this project. Conclusion of bachelor work summarises knowledges and observations sequence of this visual project.
Art Activities Motivations in Leisure Time of Children in Older School Age - Project Seagull

Diploma work is separated into two parts, one is teoretical and the second is practical. Teoretic part defines and describes topics of motivation, leisure time and older school age. It links and specifies connections between them. The practical part is trying to apply theoretical knowledge about motivation and use it in the real world with older children through creative project. The main source of this project is book from Jonathan Livingston Seagull. The project is trying to use a non-violent way to develop pubescent{\crq}s imagination, creativity and ability of self-realization. It uses dramatic education, creative activity and physical activities to acomplish this goal.
