Nursing process in ill with diagnosis cystic fibrosis
Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Distinguishing of primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction
Votavová, Hana ; Trněný, Marek (advisor) ; Papajik, Tomáš (referee) ; Kozák, Tomáš (referee)
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a molecular and prognostic heterogeneous disease. Three main genetic subtypes are called germinal center-like DLBCL (GC-like DLBCL), non-germinal center-like DLBCL (nonGC-like DLBCL) and primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma (PMBL). These subtypes can be reliably distinguished only with usage of gene expression profiling (GEP). The GEP method can be applied only when fresh frozen tissue is available. The method is technically difficult and expensive. Thus, it is not used routinely. Since the DLBCL subtypes differ in prognosis, it is extremely important to be able to distinguish them. The presented thesis is focused on distinguishing of PMBL diagnosis in the group of DLBCL. Easily stored formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue (FFPE) and gene expression analysis using real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RTqPCR) are used. In the first step, PMBL and DLBCL cases were distinguished with an internationally accepted clinical-pathological method. The agreement between clinical-pathological diagnosis and GEP is only 76%. In the presented text a genetic algorithm for PMBL/DLBCL distinguishing is suggested. It uses three carefully chosen genes and their expression is measured with RTqPCR. Both, the...

Current therapeutic options for the treatment of urticaria
Karásková, Hana ; Pourová, Jana (advisor) ; Vopršalová, Marie (referee)
Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Candidate: Hana Karásková Consultant: PharmDr. Jana Pourová, Ph.D. Title of Thesis: Current therapeutic options for the treatment of urticaria Abstract The aim of this thesis was to summarize pharmacological groups and substances used for urticaria therapy. In the introduction, a brief historical overview is provided, followed by the current classifications of the disease, its pathogenesis and methods of diagnosis. The main part of the thesis is focused on the known types of urticaria, their clinical manifestations, the possibilities of treatment and the pharmacological groups used. In the concluding part alternatives of urticaria therapy are mentioned.

The transfer sources of hepatitis C among drug users.
BACÚŠANOVÁ, Veronika
Hepatitis C is one of the main causes of chronic liver diseases development, especially in young people. The number of people infected with the hepatitis C virus worldwide ranges from 170 to 200 millions, i.e 3 % world population. The prevalence depends on the geografical location and the socio-economic level of the country. The biggest prevalence is in Africa, South America and South-East Asia. The serious fact is that the infection often has a mild or asymptomatic course. The clinical picture may be uncharactesistic and the diagnosis can be made as late as in the advanced stages of the disease, such as liver cirrhosis or hepatocelular carcinom. In the past the most common way how to transmit the infestion was by the blood transfusion. After the screening tests were introduced in the beginning of the 90th, the number of persons infected by this way has considerably decreased. The intravenous toxicomania leading to the infection with the hepatitic C virus has been a great problem recently. More than one half of the hepatitis C occurence was caused by sharing and re-using infected syringes, needles and other aids by drug addicts in whom the prevalence of the disease is 85 %. However, their therapy is very difficult with regard to the lack of their regular cooperation with physicians. Other possible ways of the infection transmission is a sexual contact with an infected person or a less frequent transmission mother-child. There is no effective vaccination against the hepatitis C virus yet. To prevent the transmission it is neccesary to avoid contact with body fluids of infected persons. In the theoretical section I focused my attention on the summary of important facts on hepatitis C and some aspects of drug abuse. In the practical section I focused on the survey of the behaviour and attitudes of intravenous drug abusers and risks significant for the spread of hepatitis C within the drug population.

The effect of "Propriofoot method" on knee joint stabilization in women professional softball
HOŠTIČKOVÁ, Barbora
This thesis is focused on knee joint instability. This issue is the most discussed theme in professional sport in context of knee injuries. The claims on knee biomechanics are enlarging natures and it leads in knee injuries and all structures of it. Knee joint is considered as the most difficult joint in human body. Knee joint consist of three bones femur, tibia and patella. Their surfaces creates femur - tibial and femur patellar joints. This bachelor thesis is aimed on knee injuries problematic, especially on knee instability, which is common in women softball players in extraleague. Theoretical part describes the history of softball, its specific nature, predilection places and different reasons of softball injuries. The thesis shows the amount of demands in stabilization of knee joint during the spin movements of whole knee joint and subsequent ballast of whole body affecting knee joint. The main task of this thesis was to create a specific list of strengthening and stabilizing exercises. The exercises was given to two groups of woman softball players. First group was orientated on strengthening muscles of knee joint with special aid from "Propriofoot Concept". The second group was working with aid called "čočka". Special exercises (SSC) was part of common training during winter set up before the season and particulary in three months period (January to March). The next aim was to compare the effectivity of methods of both groups. Practical part was utilized by quantitative method. The researched set of extraleague softball players was between 18 22 years old. For a good quality output was accomplished my supervision during one exercise. Women have to practise three times a week. I made a supervisor during the exercise for once a week. SSC had about 15 - 20 minutes. This bachelor thesis can be used as a material for coaches, fitness trainers, physiotherapist and for players also. This work can be used also for baseball players because of lots of similarities.

Stable and instable limit cycles of a reduced aero-elastic system
Náprstek, Jiří ; Pospíšil, Stanislav
Many theoretical models of slender prismatic beams in a cross-wind have been developed. They mostly follow various types of the linear approach. The subject considered in this paper represents a part of a complex theoretical background of the general nonlinear model which would enable to predict any system reaction in the pre- and post-critical domain.

Nestabilita akrečního disku jako zdroj energie pro kvaziperiodické oscilace
Horák, Jiří
We discuss a scenario, in which the energy for quasi-periodic oscillations comes from instabilities of the accretion disk. We demonstrate this mechanism on the interaction among stable and unstable modes of oscillations in slender accretion tori. In our model, the unstable non-axisymmetric corotation modes are nonlinearly coupled to stable acoustic modes of torus oscillations. The increasing energy of corotation modes is advected to the acoustic modes by the means of parametric instability. The stable modes may reach substantial amplitudes even if they are damped according to the linear theory.

Slope stability of layered rock mass - numerical solution
