Battery powered datalogger with CPU
Andrýs, Jiří ; Beran, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
In this design are mentioned processes of power consumption reduction of battery-powered devices.Execution of a project is software SPI for MMC card and file system FAT16 without extension of VFAT (Virtual File Allocation Table) – LFN (Long File Names). Hardware design consists of boost power supply, linear stabilizer, external RTC (Real Time Clock), IRQ low power modul, interface for MMC (Multi Media Card) and circuits for RS-232, RS-485. There is either a design of analog measuring interface.
Current loop 0(4) - 20 mA Analyzer
Mládek, Ondřej ; B:TECH,, Petr Dobrovolný, (referee) ; Kahle, Petr (advisor)
The subject of master´s thesis the problematics of current loop. Within the thesis, the basic components of current loop and the possibilities of its usage are described. There has also been an analysis made of the crucial functions of analyzer which is currently being in the process of development. A focus is put on mode of source and measure. The related functions are crucial in terms of testing and simulation of current loop. Furthermore, the SPI is described and it is used to establish access to the analyzer’s display. The usage of FMEA method has been chosen for the purpose of circuit’s reliability assessment. Practical part describes development of the analyzer and its parts. FMEA method application for selected fault states is presented in final part.
Control of Stepper Motors in Closed Loop System
Hořák, Jan ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design and optimization of algorithms for controlling stepper motors with feedback by measuring the BEMF. The emphasis was on self-management stepper motor current depending on the load. To verify the algorithm was designed and built sample devices with integrated circuit NCV70514 from ON Semiconductor. The result is a sample device, the control program and algorithm to control a stepper motor.
Datalogger with Ethernet
Orávik, Tomáš ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
Thesis deals with Datalogger with Ethernet interface controlled by DISCOVERY Kit STM32F429. Datalogger is equipped with eight digital inputs and three analogue inputs. The measured data are saved on the SD card. The Ethernet interface module is designed using LAN8720A from Microchip.
Packet Analyser for UWB based on 15.4a standard
Leixner, Martin ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Mráz, Ľubomír (advisor)
The aim of this work is study the standard for wireless sensor networks IEEE 802.15.4a. Design and implementation of a packet analyzer for ultra wideband technology com- pliant with IEEE 802.15.4a standard. Integrate packet analyzer to inspection software Wireshark and implement dissector for view packets. Finally, analyze and evaluate the parameters of the proposed packet analyzer.
Design and realization of a developement board for BeagleBoard
Ťapucha, Andrej ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
Contents of the thesis is to design and create an expansion board for the BeagleBoard computer one plate . The first and very important part was to find out all the possibilities for an extension of the computer itself . Choose the right expansion port . To study the possibility distribution of individual pins . Followed by the appropriate extension election districts that demonstrate the function of each enlargement . Test was designed PCB that contains circuits that change the voltage level of the BeagleBoard to protect a mini computer to the testing of each gusset periphery prevent damage to itself or part of the BeagleBoard . The peripherals themselves bind different parts of theoretical introduction. More specifically the extension of the LCD display is selected segment and includes two lines of 16 characters . When the possibility to add additional components were necessary to deal with the shortcomings of the output pins , this problem was solved by using an expander . He extends itself BeagleBoard by another 16 pins . On these pins are connected together on the LCD matrix keyboard . The creation of the board are two circuit temperature sensors , but have a different type of communication using I2C and one second using 1 -Wire bus . The board also contains various other bus outputs , for example, UART bus. It also contains an output pin which can be controlled PWM modulation . The remaining pins are versatile GPIO pins which can be programmed to define a function using the Linux operating system . The result is a final board of the package control programs which make it possible to verify the individual peripherals.
Access Control System using BodyCom Technology
Křístel, Jan ; Zamazal, Michal (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This master's thesis is primarily focused on the design of an electronic access control system using the BodyCom technology. The first section describes the working principle of this technology and its influence on human body. The second section shows an application of this technology in construction options of the electronic access control system.
Driver for LED automotive lights
Christen, Jiří ; Vochyán, Josef (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with a design and realization of a LED driver that is based on integrated circuits NCV78703 and NCV78723 from ON Semiconductor. The aim of the project is to create a demonstration application with these integrated circuits for the use of company. The circuits can be especially used for driving LED automotive lights. The driver is controlled with a microcontroller also providing a communication with a software running on a PC via USB interface. This software enables to simply modify parameters of the driver in order to adjust an intensity of LEDs.
Aeroplane model control using ISM 433 band
Juráň, J.
The aim of this work was to design multifunctional pair of devices for wireless transmission. Next goal was to use it to create RC model from hand launch glider to demonstrate wide possibilities of the developed system.
Digital multi-effect unit for guitar
Juráň, J.
The aim of this work was to design the multi-effect unit containing many additional features with the smallest dimensions possible. The main problems solved during the design were: signal processor programming, C language library for graphical OLED RGB display, system control using ATmega, EMC, wireless transmission of the sound, proper maintenance selection for dimension minimization, battery charging, and audio preamplifier.
