Kognitive analysis of the word - notion arrogance
Fialková, Natalija
The present master thesis is presenting a cognitive analysis of the word - concept "arrogance". The aim of this analysis is to locate the place of this word-concept in the "Czech view of the world", including a formulation of the entry "arrogance" in the Virtual Cognitive Dictionary of Czech View of the World. I was trying to find out the prototype of this word-concept and its typical associations and connotations brought about in the minds of Czech native speakers. The thesis is divided into five sections: the first one introduces basic theories of cognitive linguistics with an emphasis on the current Czech "school of thought" in this field and then the Polish and Anglo- Saxon traditions. In this section, I am also dealing with the Russian tradition of the cognitive linguistics. In the second section I am turning my attention to the Internet research and the newspaper texts to find out in what kind of contexts this word-concept occurs and what its meaning is in these texts. The third section contains results of the research, which was made at four schools in Prague (elementary school, secondary school, college and Faculty of Education at the Charles University). The fourth section presents the grammatical characteristics of this wordconcept and also the characteristics presented in the representative...

Determination of glucosamine by capillary zone electrophoresis with contactless conductivity detection
Los, Petr ; Polášek, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pospíšilová, Marie (referee)
7.1.2. Determination of glucosamine using capillary zone electrophoresis with conductivity contactless detection A novel CE method with contactless conductivity detection suitable for the determination of glucosamine and K+ in pharmaceuticals was devised. Under the optimum conditions (aqueous 30 mM acetate buffer of pH 5.2 as the background electrolyte; voltage 30 kV; 25 řC) glucosamine (migrating as glucosaminium cation) was well separated from K+ that could occur in the dosage forms as excipient. The CE analysis was performed in fused-silica capillaries (50 μm i.d., 75 cm total length, 27 cm to detector) and the separation took < 3 min. The calibration graphs were linear for both glucosamine (100 - 300 μg/ml; rš = 0.997) and K+ (15 - 75 μg/ml; rš = 0.997) when using ethanolamine (100 μg/ml) as the internal standard. The LOD values (S/N = 3) were 9.3 μg/ml for glucosamine and 2.9 μg/ml for K+. The method was applied to the assay of glucosamine content in various dosage forms. Intermediate precision evaluated by determining the content of glucosamine in a single formulation on 3 consecutive days was characterized by RSD 2.35% (n=15). Acceptable accuracy of the CE method was confirmed by the added/found glucosamine recovery experiments (recoveries 94.6-103.3%) and by statistical comparison of the results...

Hroch, Pavel ; Bedrnová, Eva (advisor) ; Jarošová, Eva (referee)
Mater's thesis (hereinafter MT) is focused on working enviroment analysis in Adventura ltd. The main stress is put on practical aspects derivited from the teoretical background. MT is divided into 4 parts. In the beginning hypothesis is settled. The second part focus on theory for formulation of the teoretical starting point. Pech, Miroslav ; Hrabovský, M. ; Mandát, Dušan ; Marek, M. ; Palatka, Miroslav ; Schovánek, Petr
In this paper attention is concentrated on one of the main factor which affects image quality of the optical elements - a surface roughness. There are presented physical background and usage of the special measuring system. Thereinafter there is presented quantitative measurement method of the microscopic surface quality with example in measuring of the PAO mirror segments scattering parameters.

Historic development of field paths in the Czech Republic
SUPOVÁ, Monika
This bachelor degree work pursue the topic of historic development of field paths in Czech Republic. The attention was put on development periods of areal adjustments in connections with field paths. The sense of the work was description and evaluation of the field path´s changes during those particular periods. The changes in development of the field paths were soluted on the concrete area. As the location of interest for the evaluation of original and contemporary condition of the path´s net was chosen cadastral area Svučice in the Mišovice village in the Písek area in South Bohemia, where the komplex of land adjustment went through. The part of the work was evaluation of those changes by usage of map background.

Comparison of the Motivation and Professional Background the Various Forms of Animal Assisted Activities.
TLAČBABOVÁ, Klára
The aim of my thesis " Comparison of the Motivation and Professional Background of the Various Forms of Animal Assisted Activities" is to determine through literature, opinions of therapists and observation to determine what is the motivation, professional background and time demand to all forms of therapy. The first part focuses on the cross-section of views of the theoretical literature focusing on animal assisted activities. Here I describe the differences between different forms of animal assisted activities and I also deal with ethology of dogs. In the second part I find out through interviews and observations, I find actual evidence from animal assisted activities and I specifically discuss the use of animal assisted activities on the first grade of primary school. At the end of the thesis I summarize insights from observations, processed interviews and also from my own experience and I evaluate usage of animal assisted activities on the first grade of primary school.

The practical part is focused on the description of the individual procedures such as assets, retirement, the creation and calculation of depreciation, fixed register assets and the assets in an operation register. In the second part, depreciation calculation correctness is examined and the outputs offered by the software in Asset module are tested. Finally, there are recommendations for a better usage of the software in the area of long-term assets.

SMPS Spectra Dependence on Air Masses Origin at Košetice Station
Zíková, Naděžda ; Ždímal, Vladimír
The varibility in atmospheric aerosol (AA) concentrations is considerable even at rural background stations with suppressed direct anthropogenic influence (Zíková & Ždímal, 2013), and strongly depends, among other meteorological parameters, on wind speed and direction. The wind direction, however, gives only limited information on the air masses origin, so the more detailed analysis of air mass trajectories was done to describe the variability of the AA at the Košetice station.

Thought of R. W. Reagan and Its Legacy
Pejša, Jiří ; Tajovský, Ladislav (advisor) ; Stočková, Olga (referee)
My thesis analyses thought background of politics in The United States of America in the 1980s. When prezident Ronald Wilson Reagan wins election in the beginning of this decade, America was in economic crisis, many branches were regulated; taxes were so high that economic motivation had been broken and all these elements were made according to Keynesian theory. Ronald Reagan chose other way for his policy; he used new view in economics, especially Supply-side economics, Monetarism and also traditional American values. So the practical policy was based on these idea recommendations. It?s quite sure, that age of this policy called Reaganomics, is very discussed period. This work tries to find an answer if this kind of practising economic policy was successful or not. However, this leading of policy became called "conservative turn in economic policy" and many states accepted this pattern, which had been on principles of economic liberalism.
