Experimentální zkoumání elektromagnetické aktivity kvasinkových buněk na milimetrových vlnách
Jelínek, František ; Pokorný, Jiří ; Šaroch, Jaroslav
The direct detection of oscillations in biological cells may deliver strong evidence for Fröhlich´s theory of coherent excitation in biological systems. Some results of measurement at millimeter waves published in the literature are mentioned. A laboratory equipment for the measurement of mm-waves excitations in yeast cells is described. The measurement system is controlled by computer and measured data are stored in the computer memory for evaluation. Some results of the evaluation are given.
Porovnání účinků sinusového magnetického pole 0.1 mT a 0.05 mT na inhibici adherence leukocytů a účinků střídavého a stejnosměrného magnetického pole
Jandová, Anna ; Mhamdi, L. ; Nedbalová, M. ; Čoček, A. ; Trojan, S. ; Dohnalová, A. ; Pokorný, Jiří
Effects of exposure to magnetic fields are investigated by means of the Leukocyte Adherence Inhibition assay using T lymphocytes taken from healthy humans and from patients with malignant tumors before and after medical treatment. Exposures to magnetic field 0.1 mT and 0.05 mT have similar effects. Effects of exposure to AC and DC magnetic fields are similar too. Increase of adherence after exposure support the hypothesis that magnetic field changes immune function in humans.
Kniha abstraktů z mezinárodního sympozia konaného u příležitosti stého výročí narození H. Fröhlicha "Koherence a elektromagnetická pole v biologických systémech"

The abstract book contains abstracts of all contributions from the Fröhlich Centenary International Symposium “Coherence and Electromagnetic Fields in Biological Systems”. The highlights of the symposium: coherence and electromagnetism in biological systems, their interaction with external electromagnetic fields, and medical applications of electromagnetic fields. The main organizer was Institute of Radio Eng. and Electronics, Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
Endogení elektrické pole a organizace živé hmoty
Pokorný, Jiří ; Hašek, Jiří ; Jelínek, František
Endogenous electromagnetic field with strong electric component generated by polar structures, in particular by microtubular structures, has important function in charge and mass transport which conditions biological activity. The Wiener-Lévy process is used for analysis of the transport with deterministic and random (thermal) components whose ratio may be important for biological function. Electric field can have dominant effect on directed transport at short and medium distances up to about 0.1 µm.
