Achievement motivation of computer games players in adolescence
Vaculík, Martin
This study is focused on achievement motivation of computer games players in adolescence. A total of 76 players who were suitable for two criterion: a) duration of playing computer games per week (minimum: 7 hours a week), b) duration of interest in computer games (minimum:1 year).High level of achievement motivation focused on ego for players was discovered. There is no relationship between level of achievement motivation and amount of playing computer gamens. However, heavy players scored lower at both components of achievement motivation (ego, task) than other players.

Teaching of digital safety at the secondary and high school
ZELENKA, Jakub
This thesis deals with the issue of digital security at primary and secondary schools. This means first of all taking into account important aspects of computer security, such as protection of your equipment from dangerous viruses and pirate attacks with security software, the correct backup and manage their data. Furthermore, the focus on prudent behavior on the Internet, including caution against email threats, fraudulent behavior of some users and prudent use of social networks. It also provides password security with an emphasis on strong password management and also the issue of copyright law. The work included content analysis of Czech curricula given to the issue. They are listed here similar studies related to the topic of research theory and the main research of this thesis. In this research included a survey investigating the competence of students of the above schools in teaching computer security, the results are evaluated and compared with the findings of state documents related to the issue of teaching ICT.

O nemožnosti učení neuronů s impulsy
Sgall, Jiří ; Šíma, J.
The computational complexity of training a single spiking neuron N with adjustable synaptic delays and binary coded inputs and output is studied. A synchronization technique is introduced so that the results concerning the non-learnability of spiking neurons with binary delays are generalized to arbitrary delays.

Symetrický kontaktní algoritmus pro řešení dynamických rázových úloh
Gabriel, Dušan ; Plešek, Jiří
A three dimensional contact-impact algorithm based on the pre-discretization penalty method is presented. It is shown that the proposed method preserves a symmetric treatment of mutually contacting surfaces. The symmetry of the algorithm is tested by a dynamic contact problem when the impact of two cylinders as in the Taylor test is studied. Comparison of the proposed algorithm with the finite element code MARC is made.

Aplikovatelnost nové metody pro lepší diskretizaci valmi malých hloubek vniku
Musil, Ladislav
The paper deals with tests of a new suggested method for an easier discretisation of thin layers of electromagnetic field penetrating into a conducting material. First the principle of the new method and its derivation is described. Comparison of computation with and without the transformation follows. The comparison is done on several very simple arrangements of induction heating of a ferromagnetic material. The computation were carried out by the FEM based professional code of FEMLAB supplemented with single purpose scripts written by the author in MATLAB and MATHEMATICA.
