Bullying prevention in non-profit organizations working with children and youth in their free time from the Vysočina region
NAVRÁTIL, Josef
My bachelor thesis is aimed at prevention of bullying. The exact title of the thesis is: Bullying Prevention in Non-Profit Organisations Working with Children and Young People in Their Free Time in the Region of Vysočina. The goal of the thesis was to map the issue of bullying prevention in the organisations providing leisure-time activities for children and youth in the region of Vysočina. At this time, bullying, aggressive behaviour, socially pathological phenomena, bullying prevention, primary prevention programmes, leisure time and non-profit organisations are described. The qualitative research was used for the purposes of the thesis and the data were collected via semi-standardised interviews. The research set S1 consisted of non-profit organisations working with children and youth in their free time and the research set S2 was composed of non-profit organisations offering prevention programmes. The research has suggested that some of the respondents are not able to define the notion of bullying precisely and that all non-governmental non-profit organisations (hereinafter referred to as the ``NNOs{\crqq}) addressed have been trying to deal with the issue of bullying on their own. They do not cooperate with any experts or any other person in the majority of cases. They are not interested in prevention programmes for children. Further, the research has suggested that those organisations offering prevention programmes do not endeavour to create programmes for non-profit organisations very much, too. They would be able to do so only if the NNOs working with children and youth were interested. Moreover, the research has suggested that the reason for such an attitude is the matter of will and financial means being of the highest importance nowadays. On the basis of the research results, it can be stated that the offer of prevention activities is sufficient in the region of Vysočina; especially in the areas of Třebíč, Jihlava and Žďár. On the basis of the results obtained, a proposal for bullying prevention in the non-profit organisations working with children and youth in their free time in the region of Vysočina will be prepared and provided to these organisations.
The advantages and disadvantages of modern times in relation to education, interests and behavior of children and youth.
VARGOVÁ, Ivana
The issue of the behaviour of children and youth is crucial both in the current society and in all societies of future generations. The objective of this baccalaureate work is to map leisure-time activities of children and youth, their values and attitudes which are affected by living in modern, economically developed society as well as to make the general public, and parents in particular, to consider the options of changing the current situation. The information my baccalaureate work is based upon have been acquired in the way secondary data analysis. In the practical section of my baccalaureate work the quantitative research, the interview method as well as the questionnaire technique have been applied. The questionnaire consisted of 34 questions and was distributed among a sample of children and youth aged from 13 to 19 years coming from the region of České Budějovice, Czech Republic. The questionnaire research was carried out in the period January 15th - March 15th 2010. The Hypothesis H1 {--} ``Children and youth spend more than half of their leisure time in a non-effective way{\crq}q has been confirmed, Hypothesis H2 {--} ``More than half of teenagers do not wish to spend their leisure time together with their parents{\crq}q has been refused. The research results have shown that more than three quarters of respondents prefer to spend their leisure time together with their parents and they would do so on their own will. Thus, it comes as a surprise that, nevertheless, 42 percent of respondents spend a maximum of two hours with their parents over the weekends, or only the dinner-time. The most frequent activity shared by teenagers and parents are suppers, the second most frequent activity is watching TV, videos and DVD. The least frequent shared activity is sports and cultural events. I am convinced that the lifestyle of children and youth, and thus the lifestyle of future generations, has to get a new positive direction.

Leisure time activities of children at special basic school and practical basic school.
LEPIČ, Jiří
The present Bachelor Paper is focused on leisure time activities of the pupils of primary schools - both practically-oriented primary schools and the special ones. As follows quite unambiguously from the theoretical assumptions, a meaningful use of leisure time by youth is affected by a number of factors. Literature specializing in the subject tells us a major role is played by the system of values and attitudes, but no less by the milieu where the youngsters are brought up. The Paper aimed to find out whether the parents of pupils attending the practical and special schools in Písek, Strakonice and Milevsko knew enough about organizations catering to the leisure time of children. Moreover, the Paper investigated the number of children engaged in the offered activities and examined the organizations they went to to spend their free time. The survey relied on three types of questionnaires: the first one was intended for parents of children going to the practical and special primary schools; the second one for employees of these schools; and the third one was designed for employees of organizations involved in providing the free time activities. The results returned in the questionnaires were then treated to statistical evaluation. Data obtained in Písek, Strakonice and Milevsko disproved my first hypothesis. My second hypothesis was proved true in its first part, but disproved in the second part. The results thus evaluated lead to this conclusion: parents of pupils attending the practical and special primary schools in Písek, Strakonice and Milevsko are not sufficiently informed on organizations catering to the leisure time of children. Attributable to this lack of information is the fact that most of pupils at the practical and special primary schools attended only hobby groups organized by the schools though they could choose from many more such hobby groups as their parents were ready to pay for them.
