The individual protection of citizens during the emergency event in the Břeclav region
JAKUBCOVÁ, Dominika
Individual protection of citizens during the emergency event in the Břeclav region In today´s society a permanent need of sophistication dominates. Common citizens try to acquire the most possible information on all sources available for them. Despite of that there is increasing the number of people, having a sufficient amount of information on the risks, endangering them, however, they do not realize the fact that they are able to prevent a lot of them. From the recent years´ experience I can see how the people´s knowledge in the personal protection sphere is still decreasing. As they are not aware of warning signals, they do not know how to act subsequently and this may have unforeseen subsequence for them. Today and every day the emergency events endanger us, whose course cannot be influenced by us in any way. Most of them appear suddenly, without a preceding warning. Unfortunately we live in the era, when we are threatened not only with the factors within our country, but here is still the actual threat of attack from somewhere else. In our own interest it would be to have the most possible extensive information and knowledge of events around us. Proverb ?To be ready not to be endangered? does not apply so completely, but it is certain that readiness is an important element to survive with minimum damages in property and life. In this thesis there will be summarized the emergency events, endangering us to the most and the related risks for citizens. From this starting point the entire work will proceed, which refers predominantly to individual risks and protection, which can be obtained by a man all by himself. By means of a questionnaire survey there will be ascertained the level of people´s knowledge in the sphere of events during the emergency actions and individual protection.

Obesity its causes and cosequences
Ondráčková, Anna ; Vybíral, Stanislav (advisor) ; Kuda, Ondřej (referee)
Obesity is one of the most common health problems in the Word. Over 500 million adults and over 40 million children are obese. The aim of this work is to summarize findings of causes and consequences of this health problem. Even though in some cases only genetic mutations are responsible for obesity for example mutation in ob gene or Prader-Willi syndrome most cases are caused by lifestyle of people -excessive food intake and insufficient physical activity. There are many health problems accompanying obesity. The most serious problems are metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases and cancer. The consequences of obesity are, however, not confined only to health. We can also observe the economic consequences. Financial cost of treatment of obesity and related diseases are estimated in billions of dollars. Pharmacological treatment has so far proved to be ineffective. If drugs are effective, the side effects are so severe that their use is not possible. So far, the adipose tissue hormones that regulate food intake provide the best hope.

Natural Language Processing of Textual Use Cases
Dražan, Jaroslav ; Mencl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Plátek, Martin (referee)
Use cases written in a natural language are usually employed for specifying of functional requirements. The format of a use case is not standardized but use case sentences traditionally adhere to a simple structure and describe actions which are either communication actions (among actors and a designed system), or internal actions. The natural language is used because it is comprehensible for stakeholders and is universal enough to capture most of the requirements but it is difficult to analyze it in an automated way. Vladimír Mencl employed state-of-the-art linguistic tools to extract a behavior of a system under design from textual use cases. The behavior specification is described in form of pro-cases. His work shows that this is possible but he met several issues. In this thesis, we solve some of the issues. We propose an algorithm based on the Mencl's algorithm which allows to process more use cases than the Mencl's one and we describe a metric which evaluate a quality of parse tree. The metric helps to select the best parse tree of a use case step from parse trees generated by different linguistic parsers. It addresses the issue of eliminating an incorrect parse tree returned by a single parser.

Segmentation of retinal blood vessels in 3D images from optical coherence tomography
Žáková, Eliška ; Odstrčilík, Jan (referee) ; Štohanzlová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with optical coherence tomography theory, eye and retinal structure and possibilities of retinal blood vessel segmentation in OCT scans. Further the segmentation of retinal layers used for blood vessels segmentation by OCTSEG application is shown. In the end 2D projections in the chosen layer of retinal blood vessels by different algorithms using mean, median, minimums and maximums in which are later segmented blood vessels are made and the results are compared. The best detection of blood vessels is in 2D projections made by algorithm using maximums. In the second case was better results of detection including background noise.

Emergency Plan for a Shopping Centre for the Protection of Persons Against Deliberately Set Traps Involving Explosive Devices of Hazardous Chemical Substances
Venclovský, Filip ; Kirsch, Libor (referee) ; Mika, Otakar Jiří (advisor)
This theses is speaking about the posibilities of commit a terrorist action through the agency of the dangerous chemical substances or explosive devices in the Czech Republics shopping centers. Teoretical part wants to give an informations about legislative base of this dilema, characteristic of the shopping centers, characteristic of the disposable resources to the perpetration the terrorist action and the instruments for the solution of theses expectional events. The unique survey is base of practical parts. The survey was carry out to the fading out the best possibilities to commit a terrorist action. More than twenty experts were the respondents. The another parts of the practical part are the descriptions of the scenarios of the terrorist action, suggestions to the protection of the persons in the shopping center and the crisis plan for the shopping center to the solution of the expectional event which is describe in this theses.

Physiotherapy of a displaced disc with reposition of a temporomandibular joint
BROŽKOVÁ, Aya
The topic of my bachelor thesis is physiotherapy of a displaced disc with reposition of a temporomandibular joint. It is a functional disorder, when the mandible disc is not in a physiological position and creates an obstacle for a condyle movement. When mouth is fully opened the disc does not return to its original position. This moment is characteristic with a clicking sound. Another symptom is inclining of the chin to the disordered site when the mouth is being opened. Main cause of TMD is stress, bad occlusion and a long-term micro trauma of TMJ. It is a topical issue, because an increase of stress in daily life causes also more TMD. Almost 70 % of the population has the TMD, in most of the cases the TMJ disc is in a wrong position. The therapy of this kind of disorder should be done by physiotherapist. Unfortunately knowledge of diagnosis and healing of the TMD is not sufficient. The disorder is recognized usually by dentists, who send a patient to a specialized clinic. The goal of my work was examining of mastication and neck muscle spasms. In the work there are also described physiotherapeutic possibilities of healing including postural strategy. I have created informational booklet for patients, in which saving method for TMJ healing, exercises, ergonomic principles and correct posture both when sitting and standing are presented. The research was done by 14 case analysis, analytic-inductive method and experimental work. Patients were randomly divided into three groups. As a first step TMJ and cervical spine of each patient and their posture were examined. The examination of TMJ consisted of diagnosis, extent and symmetry of an opening movement and palpation examination of the cervical spine. Therapy was six weeks long. Each patient was introduced to TMJ saving method, which is based on limitation of a TMJ movement, eating soft food and elimination of stress. In the first group (5 patients) the therapy was focused only on mastication muscles. Patients were supposed to be exercising to loosen the muscles of mastication. Exercises were chosen after palpation examination. Third group (4 patients) did neck muscle exercises and self massage. Second group (5 patients) did the therapy of both first and third group. Results of the therapy show, that there is a possible connection between TMD and cervical spine dysfunction. There were positive (evaluated subjectively) changes in both TMJ and in all groups. The condition of TMJ is influenced by neck muscle therapy and the condition of cervical spine is influenced by mastication muscle therapy. Best results had the second group. All patients but one improved (one lady had a TMJ inflammation). There were no deterioration of TMJ and cervical spine condition either. There were some worsening in group one and three. The best therapy is a combination of exercises of both mastication and neck muscles. I would like to point out a fact that TMJ is one of the most complicated and busy joints in human body. Both TMJ are connected to mandible so dysfunction of one joint can lead to problems with the other one. Physiotherapy is needed most in cases of functional disorder.
