The roofing of a railway station
Olbert, Jan ; Šmak, Milan (referee) ; Puchner, Josef (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is structural design of railway station lobby steel roofing. The construction dimensions are 63,0 m x 300,0 m with height adapted for railway vehicles traffic according to ČSN 73 6320 technical standard. The two-bay hall cross coupling consists of lattice trusses mounted on restrained columns. Axial spacing between individual bonds is 4,0 m. In the longitudinal direction the stability of articulated columns is secured by truss bracing placed in the roof and walls.
The manufacuring hall in Louny
Jirásek, Marek ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is design and assessment of the factory building in Louny. The hall has rectangular floor plan 68x30m. The supporting structure of the hall is designed as a steel frame with roof truss, purlins and braces for attachment of sheatling.
Family house load-bearing structure composed of thin-walled steel members
Bulíček, Radek ; Melcher,, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design and verify load bearing members of single-storey family house composed of thin-walled cold-formed elements. Parking space for cars of timber members is the part of the house, too. The family house is in rectangular plan with dimensions of 9.5 x 10.5 m. The roof of the house is hipped, on the side of the house with the parking place rafters are associated with garage rafters. The following elements were statically assessed: structural members of the house roof (rafters, collar tie, roof bracing), structural members of the ceiling (ceiling beams), reinforcing timber frame, external and internal load bearing walls (columns), load bearing elements of the parking space (rafters, purlins, columns). All assessments were performed according to currently valid standards. The calculation showed that the resistance and serviceability of all components are satisfied.
The roof structure of a multipurpose hall in Poděbrady
Houška, Daniel ; Puchner,, Josef (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this the bachelor thesis is a design of the supporting steel structure of the roofing for the multi-purpose sports hall in Poděbrady. Since a wide range of sports will be played in this sports hall, its layout and ground clearance are proposed accordingly. Prefabricated bleachers, which were not the solved in this thesis, will be part of the hall. Supporting facilities for the hall are located in the nearby buildings. It’s a single steel rectangular hall with a cylindrical roof. Curved beams were used as supporting elements. The beams will be filled with rods installed in a perpendicular system. For a structural analysis Sci Engineer 2011.1 was used. Selected elements were assessed by manual calculation.
Space structure of industry building object
Pelikán, Adam ; Švaříčková,, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this project is the structure of the storage hall which is made of reinforced concrete. It is designed as precast frame (span of 18m), founded on pocket footings. The roof deck (non-rigid) consists of ribbed slabs. The cladding is made of sandwich panels (reinforced concrete and isolation) layed on foundation beam. The design is focused on the single typical frame. Roof girder, column and pocket footing are designed. Designed life of the structure is 50 years.
Load bearing structure of the hall
Žák, Ondřej ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Straka, Bohumil (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis solves the design and assessment of the load bearing structure of multipurpose hall. The building is designed as a single-storey, octagonal plan, with a shed roof. Construction of the hall consists of a set of frames. The supporting structure is designed in two versions - three-hinged frames with curved corners or as two-hinged frame with a large finger joint. The three-hinged frame option is solved in detail.
Multipurpose Sport Hall
Rusoňová, Nikola ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is to design and evaluate the multipurpose sports hall for a permanent, climate and traffic load. Light range of construction is 42,900 m, clear height at its highest point is 10,824 m. The construction is located in Brno. The main load-bearing elements of constructionare two-juncture arcs of constant cross-section of glued laminated timber class GL24h, axially remote 3,000 m. Trusses are transversely connected by purlins from solid wood for strengthclass C20 axially remote 1,100 m. The entire construction is braced by four transverse bracing, consisting of a rods system.
Structure of The Showroom
Trojanová, Lenka ; Röder, Václav (referee) ; Buchta, Stanislav (advisor)
This thesis describes the design of wooden substructures Motor Show. This constructionis located in South Moravia in Brno area. The dimensions are 33 mx 49 m and height from ground to top is 15.5 m The main structure is unbalanced arc of glued laminated timber, constant section height. Length of the arch is 39 meters. For the design of bearings, connections and contacts have been used steel elements. The concrete columns are stored using the arc tangent bearings. Front and side (east) side have a glass facade, glass is the antisun and security properties are opposite sides of the brickPOROTHERM 40th The structure was modeled in the SCIA ENGINEER 2011th The structural analysis was performed manually.
The roof structure of a multipurpose sport hall in Brno
Grussmann, Jan ; Pilgr,, Milan (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis describes the design and static assessment of the main roof structure supporting elements of the multipurpose sport hall in Brno. It is the emphasis on the optimization of the proposal in terms of material consumption. Curved girders made of glued laminated timber and on the edge connected rafters forms together the cross-link structure. Basis of OSB sheathing carrying the roof deck is secured by the orthogonal grid system purlins and rafters. The static calculation also includes fire resistance reports of single elements.
Sports hall
Návarová, Michaela ; Doc.Ing. Bohumil Straka,CSc. (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
The thesis proposal is developed wooden structure sports hall. The hall is designed for general sports (handball, football, tennis, volleyball, basketball). Plan dimensions of the hall are 26,5 m x 45 m and variable height. The structure is designed for the České Budějovice. Carrier enclosure is designed from the glued laminated wood with axial distance of 3 m Purlins are designed as simple beams with axial distance of 2,5 m and PUR sheathing panels are used. Articulated connection is made with steel pivotal connections.
