The chapter of discussion is focused on more detailed progress of HEMS in Vysočina region. There is marginally analysed HEMS in Havlíčkův Brod, which existed from the year 1991 to 1994. Considering minimal measure of taken information about it, this passage isn't written more detailed. In the next point I focused on HEMS in Jihlava, which has been working on Vysočina region from 1991. Considering sufficient measure of taken information and very accommodating attitudes of respondents and employees working at HEMS, I have analysed historical progress of this centre more detailed and in some parts, I have made comparing with actual status. I briefly focused on the history of the base, where I involved the most important milestones, which went along with their progress. One of the points, which I focused on, is background of the ambulance outpost where sequential upgrading of the base and its surroundings for employees are analysed. In the next points are foreshadowed differences of used helicopters and its history at HEMS centres, including accessories as a medical material or the other devices used in rescue operations as Toughbook for example. Prostitution as a social problem
VOTRUBOVÁ, Eva
According to several authors, sexual activity ranks in third place in our day-to-day physiological manifestations, right behind eating and sleeping. Sigmund Freud claims that sex and erotica are what drives all human actions and that they are even present in four fifths of all our thoughts and desires. According to Freud's psychoanalysis, following sexual instincts and fulfilling sexual needs is the main human objects. Even in Maslow's hierarchy of needs, sexuality is classified in basic, biological needs. Sexuality therefore affects a large part of our behaviour. Prostitution is considered as one of the forms of sexual behaviour. Nowadays, prostitution is a phenomenon as frequent as it has been from the very beginning of the human race. The fundamental objective of this bachelor's thesis is to map out the subjective perception of reasons that led selected sexual workers to prostitution, and to develop a possible model of social work with this group. A qualitative research strategy was used for the purpose of research. In order to gather necessary information, I used the method of semi-structured in-depth interviews as well as a brief questionnaire. The latter served for gathering the respondents' basic information, such as age, marital status, education, etc. Over and above, during the interview I focused more on detailed information essential to answering the questions dealt with in the research. The interview was structured into five basic topics, whereas each of them included several specifying or developing questions. The basic topics formed a so-called core of the interview, while the other questions were posed in order to develop the topic more in depth with regard to answering the research objective. The interviews were carried out with six respondents from one erotic salon. The research part includes brief case studies that were elaborated on the grounds of information gathered during the interviews and the information collected with the questionnaire. The case studies allow us to gain an insight into the lives of individual respondents and to get a closer take on their life situations. All the interviews were transcribed and analysed using the technique of open coding. The fundamental analytical line is the story of individual respondents from their early childhood until the present day. The last section also includes responses related to the future of the prostituting women. This process, in which I tried to create an analytical story, was carried out using a "showdown" technique. The questions during the interview were asked in a manner so that they answer the essential questions of the research, which reads: EQ1: What reasons led the selected sexual workers to their decision to make their living as prostitutes? EQ2: What motives had sexual workers to make their living as prostitutes? EQ3: What situations might affect personality during the life of women so that they are prostitutes? The research results allow an insight into the life of prostituting women working in an erotic club. They reveal information from their childhood, adolescence and adult age and, at the same time, allow mapping out the reasons that lead the women to the sexual behaviour of prostitution. The results also point out the advantages and disadvantages of this profession as seen by the respondents, the experience with social services, but also the future of these women. The most frequent motivation among the respondents was money. This was already evident from the questionnaire, in which five of six women responded that they came to prostitution for financial reasons. However, it was also possible to notice different motivational aspects that contributed to the decision to making a living as a prostitute. Be it time flexibility, higher expectations regarding living conditions, or an effort to secure sufficient means for more than basic essentials of living standards.

The selected file is formed of eight persons taking care of persons dependant on the assistence of other physical person in the home background who complied with the pre-set criteria; the method of so-called "snowball" was chosen. The gained data were evaluated by the method of open coding. The research pointed out the facts and risks that the realization of the care of a person dependant on the care of other physical person in the home background is carrying out. The research pointed out the areas in which these persons feel the increased strain. The area of physical exertion in caring, the consciousness of responsibility in connection with caring, the area of communication and understanding a person dependant on the care and facing up to the fate and watching helplessness are demanding the most for the caring persons. School Social Worker-Elementary School Director's Attitude
FENIGBAUEROVÁ, Nela
This bachelor thesis is focused on school social work. Besides the theoretical pieces of knowledge it also describes perception of this field in social work by south Bohemian schools headmasters. The school social work is widespread all over the world. The social workers offer wide service scale to schools. Between these services belongs for example skills practice, individual consultancy which is suitable also for group or family, crisis intervention, visitations in students houses, education support, support of parents as well as advocacy for students and families (Allen-Meares a kol., 2013). In year 2006 school social work celebrates its hundred years as separate profession. Simultaneously with the development there were thought many ways how to practise it, which were also called school social work models (Mizrahi and Davis, 2008). However, not every time there was spoken about school social work or social work in schools. From the very beginning was the function of social workers or "visiting teachers" mainly to check school attendance out (Allen-Meares, 2000). School social work is realized in four models, these are described in books of many authors for example Slovak writer Skyba (2015), Allen-Meares (2000, 2013), Mizrahi and Davis (2008) or also Tokárová and Matulayová (2013). Despite very interesting and rich history of school social work worldwide, this branch is not used a much in our Republic(Skyba, 2015). The goal of this thesis was to find out which attitudes have the chosen primary schools headmasters to posture of school social worker. For finding out there were determined the three explorative questions. The first one was how the headmasters perceive the school social work? The second question was how the headmasters imagine the competence of school social workers? The third one was what opinion the headmasters have of expected development of school social work in the Czech Republic? The point of this work was to find out and demonstrate how much the headmasters are informed about school social work area. For the research there was applied qualitative research strategy, the questioning method and half-controlled conversation technique. The selective file was constituted by eighteen primary school´s headmasters in South Bohemia. Next criterion was the choice of only one primary school from given town. The primary schools always included grades from the first to the ninth. The data we got were analyzed with using of tuft creation method. The schools were divided into several groups according to number of students who attended them. On the other hand we find out that opinions and answers of headmasters are not dependent on the number of students who attend the schools. The first group of questions which were related to knowledge of schools social work showed that eleven from eighteen informants heard about school social work. It is positive finding of course. However, their knowledge was only of peripheral importance. Not anybody of headmasters gives the sources from which they came to know about school social work. The second group described the headmaster´s imagination about work competence. It showed that the overwhelming majority considers as the main work competence the cooperation with students from socially disadvantaged surroundings as well as the work with families. The third group of questions referred to necessity and future development. Fourteen from eighteen headmasters consider this area of school social work as needed and they perceive it important for school. That is favourable for future development as well as for raise awareness of school social worker´s profession. In major answers also was heard that school social work will develop in our country. This bachelor thesis and pieces of knowledge written in it may be used as information source for school workers as well as for the non-professional public.

Evaluation of the fire safety in the rack storage in Vysočina Region
SUK, Martin
The aim of this Bachelor's thesis titled Evaluation of Fire Safety of Rack Warehouses in Region Vysočina is to evaluate the protection of rack warehouses in region Vysočina, compare the existing situation with legislation and technical regulations, and draft measures for successful suppression of fire in a rack warehouse for a firefighting crew commander. The thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical part and the effective part. This thesis also contains another part, where there were outlined two research questions and introduced the research methodology, which describes the procedure of obtaining results. In the theoretical part, there is a brief outline of the history of storage and its development. There are also explained main terms related to warehouses and storage, and there is also mentioned the basic division of warehouses. Furthermore, there is also described the burning process, course of fire and its particular stages. Last chapters of the theoretical part are dedicated to fire safety and applicable regulations, description and function of fire safety equipment, that are installed in warehouses chosen for assessment. Warehouses assessed in this work were selected intentionally and according to predetermined criteria, like for example rack storage of material, area, height and installed fire safety protection equipment. In this thesis, there can be found elaboration of the assessment of five rack warehouses in region Vysočina, which meet the conditions mentioned above, and which also provided detailed information. Results of this research are divided into two parts, when each part brought an answer to one important question. In the first part, there are stated results of guided interviews with professionals in the field of warehouse design, which provided answers to one of the research questions, and that was whether rack warehouses in region Vysočina were protected against occurance of fire in accordance with valid legislation and technical regulations. This comparison simultaneously represented one of the aims of this thesis. After the evaluation of obtained information, we can say that the researched warehouses are protected against the occurance of fire with the sufficient and appropriate means, and we can even consider some fire safety elements to be oversized. While processing guided interviews with commanders and chiefs of the squads located at firefighting brigade stations in region Vysočina, it was possible to answer the second research question outlined in the resulting effective part of this Bachelor's thesis. According to the results of the research, the firefighting brigade chiefs do not have enough information from warehouse owners to fight the fire successfully. From 24 interviewed crew commanders and chiefs, 15 consider provided information insufficient. As a complication while fighting the fire, they mention confusing state of operational cards, and also the fact the the information stated in these cards are not adjusted regularly. In the case of fire emergency, in a very short time, the firefighting brigade has to orientate in a large amount of information that are not stated in the operational card. This card is very voluminous and becomes confusing. While firefighting, the presence of the contact person is always important. On the basis of all information obtained during guided interviews with crew commanders and chiefs, there was created a methodological tool, so one of the objectives of this thesis, to help the crew commanders to make firefighting easier, was fulfilled. This tool will be offered to complete the firefighting documentation for the fire brigade stations in the region that cooperated during the process of obtaining data for this Bachelor's thesis. In this methodological tool, there is implemented a brief and synoptical list of all information that are, on the basis of the research, crucial for crew commander's decision making while firefighting.

The adaptation process in the Home for the eldery in the street Rybniční Strakonice.
VALEŠOVÁ, Olga
The dissertation is focused on the adaptation process in a certain Retirement home in Strakonice. The old age is the last evolution period of one´s life and the society should do its best to enable the people to spend this time in harmony, with sense of peace and joy. Nowadays, a pensioner is forced to think of the options provided by social services/social care in case that the health status doesn´t allow him to take care of himself sufficiently and independently or is not able to assure such care through his family. Then a long stay service in a retirement home seems to be an appropriate possibility. Joining such facility is usually considered as one of the most difficult situations that a retiree can meet with. It brings various risks as environment change with no knowledge of the area or people; it represents the loss or limitation of one´s autonomy, habits and privacy etc. A pensioner should properly consider this situation with his family, get ready for it and voluntarily decide to join an retirement home. The objective of my dissertation is to analyse the factors that influence the adaptation of retired people in the Retirement Home Rybniční, Strakonice. In the empirical part, there has been used the method of qualitative research and technics of demi structured dialogue for data collection. The research file has been chosen by the method of contingent defined selection. The own survey has been performed on a selected sample of retirees who complied with the given contingent conditions. The research showed that the arrival to the home for the elderly people is subject to poor health and inadequate housing situation, which represents a barrier to the environment for seniors. To answer the main research questions: What factors affect the adaptation process in the Retirement Home Rybniční, Strakonice? I can state, that the factors such as the home, the saturation of the needs, social contacts with family, friends and other users and active leisure more or less influence the seniors. The research results also pointed out the importance of self-sufficiency, which is affected by the health condition on one hand. On the other hand seniors are driven not only by the mission of Retirement Home Rybniční, but also by their own initiative to maintain the greatest possible degree of autonomy and self-sufficiency. The health status and the rate of self-sufficiency have a great impact on the process of adaptation and affect the individual factors of adaptation. This work should highlight the importance of the adaptation process of the seniors in the home for the elderly, which is not possible to underestimate. Furthermore, it should highlight the need for cooperation of the staff with the family, the importance of communication, environment, needs saturation and activities that can help to overcome this tough life step. Findings and conclusions of the thesis will be used as a feedback for the institution, where the research was carried out.

Domestic Violence With The Victim's Point Of View
HONZLOVÁ, Jana
The issue of domestic violence is currently a highly discussed social issue. Domestic violence happens in privacy, behind closed doors, among people who are close. It can occur in all social classes and it can basically happen to anyone. The survey shows that almost every fourth woman has experienced domestic violence, therefore, this theses focuses on the perception of domestic violence from the perspective of women as its victims. The bachelor thesis is focused on comparison of the theory, developed from available sources as well as from the real experience of a victim, which was discovered on the basis of quality research. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the definition of domestic violence, its causes, process, signs and possible consequences. Further, it deals with the characteristics of the victim and with the influence the situation has on children who witness domestic violence. Qualitative methodology was chosen for the survey. A semi-structured interview was selected as a collection technique. The research sample was made up of seven women. They each were privately interviewed, and each one was at that time or had been previously involved in a relationship, where domestic violence had already occured. The aim of the thesis was to reflect on domestic violence from the point of view of the victims, and to finding out, which type of domestic violence is considered to be the worst by the victims, and, further, which reasons prevent the victims from actively resolving their situation. The research showed that the victims consider the psychological abuse to be the worst manifestation of partner violence, especially for its longevity and for the consequences that are left on their psychological condition. Among the reasons which prevent the victims from resolving the situation actively are, for instance, shame, fear of losing children, fear of the partner and distrust of police and other institutions. By means of this thesis I intended to take a closer look at the issue of domestic violence and to portray the complicated situation of abused women.
