Source for heat production in the Czech Republic
Bártová, Jana ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with thermal recources in the Czech Republic. The first part of the work is about the division and description of heating plants used for the production of thermal and electric energy. The second part of the thesis describes the advantages and disadvantages of district heating and individual heating. The last part of my work contains statistical processing of heat sources located in the Czech Republic.
Digital twin concept for hydraulic machines
Klement, Jan ; Burda, Radim (referee) ; Rudolf, Pavel (advisor)
The term “Digital twin” is associated with Industry 4.0. It is a projection of an object into a virtual environment, which enables to predict behaviour and explore the existing behaviour. In engineering, such objects can be components, machines, or entire companies. Subsequently, Digital twin helps to determine the most suitable operation depending on the conditions. This thesis deals with the possibilities of digital twin. Subsequently, it describes the current state of turbomachinery, concentrating in particular on hydraulic machines in the field of Digital twin. The final part of the thesis describes the concept for creating a Digital twin for a centrifugal pump.
Models of the power set water turbine control
Prudek, Stanislav ; Matoušek, Radomil (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with modelling and simulation of the power set of pumped storage hydro plant. This power set control opening/closing the stator blades of Francis reverse turbine in Dalesice. It is a positional servomechanism where input signal is desired value of turbine opening. The goal of this work is to create computer modell of this power set in Matlab-Simulink. This modell must be comparable with properties of real power set and after modification usefull to other water power plants. Characteristics of computer modell can be verify with real measuring.
High Pressure part Steam Turbine
Martinek, Miroslav ; Ing.Richard Fichtl (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The target of this work is to created balance comparIsion of versions of high speed and standard speed HP parts of steam turbine and for the more suitable version to make optimization. Optimization consists of flow part, choosen profile blades and construction calculations. Control calculations for rotor and pipeline were made in order to draw longitudinal section of HP part.
Adaptation of the Watermill
Pavlík, Jan ; Hudec, Martin (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is composed of two parts. In the first part, there is a generally discourse about small water power plants, their structural design, mechanical equipment and economical efficiency and its function is to create the basic conception of the waterwork. The second one deals concretely with the small water power plant in Crhov, that was rebuilt from the original mill by Mr. Petr König in 1990s.
Welding of turbine rotor materials
Cvoligová, Hana ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Daněk, Ladislav (advisor)
In the Visual - Weld and Sysweld programs, a simplified simulation of the welding process of the turbine rotor made of 27NiCrMoV 15-6 substance was performed. The numerical analysis took place at the equal temperature of preheating and it covered both minimal and maximal percent chemical composition. The simulation proved that the percent deviations of elements in the substance change the speed necessary for reaching of the bainitic structure. Simulation results were verified by a practical experiment. Two weld beads were welded to a base substance by MIG method: one bead at the temperature of 200°C, the other one at the temperature of 300°C, both with the same specific input caloric QS. Both micro and macrostructure of the base substance and TOO was evaluated, and the progression of the hardness was measured as well. The deviations fell within the acceptable 15% range.
Modern turboprop engine for aircraft to 5700kg MTOW
Košař, Miroslav ; Nastálek, Ondřej (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis contains a database of available turboprop engines with power up to 2000 kW for aircraft with take-off weight of up to 5700 kg. It briefly mentions basic information about turboprop engines. The main part contains an overwiev of chosen engines and their comparison in the form of tables and graphs. Furute predictions are briefly mentioned in the ending.
Utilization of new water structure for production of electric energy
Šitina, Martin ; Vrabec, Jan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis concerns on the utilization of new water structure for production of electric energy. The next part follows with description of the term small water power plant, the classification of small water power plants and description of their main components. The next steps decrypts the process of finding optimal location for development of small water power plant in the Eastern Bohemian region, including hydrological data, cadastral maps and the list of land owners in the potential location of my designed water power plant. Further on there is mentioned calculation and proposition their mechanical parts ( turbine and generator ) and appreciation investment effectiveness designed locations.
Comparison of the thermal cycle efficiency
Přívozník, Martin ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Theme of this master's thesis Comparison of thermal cycle efficiency is aimed on the calculation of thermal schemes of reheating and without reheating for various performances. The calculation is performed using specialized literature. The introduction describes the fundamental thermal cycle used in power plants and Rankine - Clausius cycle. After the initial familiarization with the parameters of Rankine - Clausius cycle follow a section with technical solutions to improve thermal efficiency of Rankine - Clausius thermal cycle. The aim of this work is to identify and compare the thermal efficiency of the thermal cycle with reheating, without reheating and compare them with each other. At the conclusion of this work is shown comparison between two low-pressure regeneration systems.
Study of small hydropower station in the locality of Osík
Staněk, Aleš ; Golík,, Pavel (referee) ; Dráb, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with a study of a small hydropower plant in Osík on the Desná river. Part of the work is the calculation of the produced energy and the estimation of the return on investment.
