Design of a photovoltaic power plant with battery storage for a family house

This bachelor work deals with the design of a photovoltaic power plant with a battery storage for household purposes. In the theoretical part are mentioned principles and explanation of the function of photovoltaic cells and accumulators. The thesis also deals with the description of photovoltaic systems and the system of accumulation of energy in accumulators. In the final part are the system and legislative conditions analyzed. In the practical part of the work is shown photovoltaic power plant design with PV*SOL software.
The power of solar radiation falling on a photovoltaic module

The work is focused on the problem of the solar radiation power impacting on a photovoltaic module. In the theoretical part, the possibilities of using solar energy in renewable energy sources, especially in photovoltaic panels and solar collectors, were discussed and presented. Then the materials on the use of solar energy in these sources were reviewed. In addition, the three main components of incident solar radiation on a photovoltaic module or solar collector were described. Finally, the method for calculating the position of the sun across the sky was discussed and presented, as well as the method for calculating the various components of incident solar radiation on a photovoltaic module.
The large-scale solar systems

Entering of thesis focuses on large-scale solar systems. Large solar-scale system will be used for heating water in public swimming pool. The pool is located in Brno - country. The pool is operated year-round. Great emphasis of the thesis is on the surface heat loss. Evaporation of water from the water surface is also applied in the experimental part of the thesis. In the calculations is used software for modeling the thermal microclimate of buildings and air conditioning design Teruna.

The Master’s Thesis prospects the suitability of installing a photovoltaic system and a cogeneration unit in the LIPOELASTIC manufacturing facility and proposes their actual realization. Theoretical part describes said facility, its current energy supply situation and presents the proposed realizations' principle of operation. Practical part contains concrete calculations needed for realizations' proposal and their economic evaluation both independently and jointly.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the issues of the fotovoltaic-electricity which is situated on the rooftop of the family house. The first part of this thesis deals with a solar radiation in the region of the Czech republic, photovoltaic conversion and electric attributes of solar cells. In the following part is analysed current status of an available technology of a sollar cells. The next topic which you can deal with is a process of the manufacturing of solar cells, basic selection and partition of inverters, construction and with the manufacture of the several kinds of connection. The next chapter is about to explain how you can gain an aid of the state from the bottom to the nowadays. The last part of this thesis is dedicated to a specific proposal of the fotovoltaic factory on the rooftop, calculation of an investments that are need to be paid and enumeration of a possible financial return.

The aim of this thesis is to introduce the physical interpretation of the conversion of light into electrical energy in semiconductor components and principles of functioning of photovoltaic cells. The next section is devoted to the preparation work for the testing of solar photovoltaic reference devices, the methodology of measurement and description of the measurement equipment. The practical part of this thesis is to build a laboratory to determine the possibility of measuring the solar cells during the day and measure of the these cells in laboratory, and also in solar simulator.

The first part describes solar energy, how can we use it, and the types of FV systems and cells. In the second part is the design of the systém. Firts, the object itself is descirbed and it’s energy consumption is detected and the suitable type of FVE is selected. The conclusion of the work consists the financial balance and economic return.
Thermal radiation in real life

This bachelor's thesis deals with the impact of heat transfer by radiation on the life around us. The research part summarizes the fundamental laws and concepts necessary for understanding the given issue. Furthermore, it describes and analyzes phenomena in everyday life where radiation is dominant. The greatest attention has been devoted to solar radiation, followed by the greenhouse effect, along with its influence on global warming. The thesis also includes a procedure for calculating heat transfer by radiation between two surfaces, based on which a Python script was written. Subsequently, a standalone application with a graphical interface was developed. The conclusion of the thesis focuses on describing the software development process and provides examples of test cases in thermomechanics.
Secure web application for surface temperature monitoring based on machine learning methods

The bachelor thesis is focused on the exploration of the influence of solar radiation on the measured temperature by temperature sensors in microwave devices and on the possibilities of quantifying this influence. The thesis explores the possibility of using these devices to measure ambient temperature using selected machine learning methods. The aim was to create a secure web application that will be used for area-based ambient temperature monitoring, thus expanding existing networks of meteorological measurement points. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the technology of microwave links and the environmental influences that affect the measured temperature of these devices. In the practical part of the thesis, a correlation analysis was performed between the measured temperatures from different telecommunication equipment technologies and the temperatures of the surrounding meteorological stations. The analysis aimed at selecting an appropriate technology for ambient temperature prediction. The next part of the practical work involved the process of training a machine learning model. The last part involves the development of a web application that displays temperature maps of the Czech Republic.
