Threatened villages in marginal regions in Czechia
Taitl, Lukáš ; Perlín, Radim (advisor) ; Vaishar, Antonín (referee)
This diploma thesis is generally devoted to the endogenous potential of the development of the smallest settlements of the selected part of the inner periphery in Czechia. This internal potential is created by the socio-economic and socio-cultural status of the settlement. At a time when the rural development paradigm, ie the top-down approach and the principle of local governance, prevails according to OECD, it seems that the socio-cultural part of the endogenous potential of the settlement is probably the key one. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the possibilities of local actors, especially permanent residents and subjects of the second housing, in influencing the overall state of the given settlement - socio-economic part of the internal potential of the settlement. In the practical part, it analyzes the internal potential of selected settlements, statistically tests the relationship between these factors and looks for probable reasons for different potential. The relationship between the internal factors of development was confirmed and the socio-cultural nature was identified as a key aspect of potential success. The thesis does not aim to predict the exact future of these settlements, but it realistically reflects their internal potential and thus presents their likely direction...
Development potential of tourism in a selected peripheral area
Hanuš, Pavel ; Fialová, Dana (advisor) ; Kopp, Jan (referee)
This master thesis examines the possibilities of tourism development in selected peripheral area. Specifically, it includes areas of Kralovicko, Manětínsko, Žluticko, Jesenicko and Podbořansko. It is an inner periphery, which territory is administratively divided into four different regions. The possibilities of tourism development are discussed on the basis of analysis of localization and realization requirements and on the basis of interviews with actors, who are directly or marginally involved in tourism in the surveyed area. The thesis is complemented by map outputs and tables. The main findings of this thesis are that the surveyed area has suitable localization requirements for the development of tourism on regional or national level. Except of public transport, the realization requirements are also on a good level. However, in some cases would be appropriate additional research. It is clear from the interviews that the surveyed area is facing a number of problems. Due to that, current potential of tourism existing in this area is not sufficiently used. Better promotion of the territory regardless of regional borders, which would require deeper cooperation between individual actors, seems to be a possible solution. Literary tourism in Czechia
Ulrychová, Tereza ; Fialová, Dana (advisor) ; Kotíková, Halina (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to clarify the role of literary tourism in Czechia and to evaluate its potential and possible uses. After that, a comparison based on foreign literature and sources was made between Czechia and other countries. The places selected in this thesis have a link to the life or work of a prominent Czech writer and seek to develop literary tourism, promote literature, attract visitors, etc. These are places where the writer's birthplace is open to the public and where museums with an exhibition focusing on that writer and the writer's works have been created and where literary festivals or other thematic events are organized etc. These places were approached with the offer of being involved in the making of a game called "Build your world" and a newly created smaller competition "In the footsteps of our writers". Collector magnets have been created for those who have agreed to be involved in these games. These magnets serve as a means to support the development of literary tourism in the Czech Republic and involve local actors in a nationwide event, which will raise awareness both of important writers and of the places associated with them. Very often the places involved are less visited ones. Key words: tourism, literary tourism, potential, Build your world, In the footsteps of...

Cieślaková, Adriána ; DVOŘÁK, Jan (advisor) ; SULŽENKO, Jiří (referee)
Dissertation thesis named Towards Creative Possibilities of Theatre Management deals with various possibilities and ways enabling the development of creative potential. First of all, it focuses on individuals, next it speaks about the role of creative manager, leading people in creative teams and finally it analyses a creation and stabilization of creative organization. These four topics create a core of first four chapters of dissertation thesis. The basic method of research is a synthesis of knowledge gained from various authors in the field of creative management, culturology, economy, psychology and psychiatry, neurology, from dramaturges, directors and managers. At the same time, the work is based on author´s teaching experience at The Theatre Faculty of The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (Production Department). Author also summarises her own experience with discussed phenomenon during her work as a manager. This dissertation thesis does not aim at exhausting above mentioned topic. On the contrary, it puts facts into new relations, it makes new connections and above all it speaks about new sources of creativity and creative ways of problem solutions especially in connection to manager´s job. The thesis also focuses on the professional role of theatre dramaturge (fifth, closing chapter is devoted to this topic). The goal of this work is to prove the usefulness and purposefulness of creative approach in the theatre management, which has positive effect on people and the whole teams and organizations. Author believes that it is effective on qualitative as well as on quantitative level. This approach could be found in a management literature but rarely it is analysed in art management sources. The basic hypothesis of authors’ doctoral research is that the awareness and usage of methods of creative approaches leads to more successful organizations, it also leads to transition from creating new thoughts towards their articulation, realisation and evaluation. This can bring the inflow of new motivated people who enjoy their jobs first of all. This way, organisation can multiply the number and the quality of submitted projects and other outputs, broaden the web of co-operators, spectators and raise the level of financial stability and good media partners response.
