Impact evaluation of a anterior cruciate ligament rupture on postural stabilization by a method postural somatooscillography before and after reconstruction surgery
Traplová, Kristýna ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Véle, František (referee)
Title: Impact evaluation of a anterior cruciate ligament rupture on postural stabilization by a method postural somatooscillography before and after the reconstruction surgery Objective: Compare measured postural stability values by postural somatooscillography which will be carried out before planned ACL reconstruction surgery rupture, early after the surgery and in a longer time period after rehabilitation. Methods: This thesis has been created as a pilot study using a descriptive and associative form. Research part focuses on measurements done on the Posturomed surface during postural provocation test. Platform movement has been recorded by accelerometer and transferred into Microswing diagnostic system and evaluated using the Postural somatooscillography Posturomed Commander application. Results: After reconstruction surgery is the ability of postural stabilization better than before surgery. Postural stabilization has been improving within the group of probands during all measurements. However, the ability of long-term stabilization is at very low level in comparison to healthy subjects. Postural stabilization of uninjured limb is better than stabilization of injured limb in all research stages. Key words: anterior cruciate ligament, injury, postural stabilization, Posturomed
The use of the screening test with the neuro-orthopedic equipment Propriomed in diagnostics of postural stabilization and postural dysfunction
Klaudinyová, Anna ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Maršáková, Kateřina (referee)
Title: The use of the screening test with the neuro-orthopedic equipment Propriomed in diagnostics of postural stabilization and postural dysfunction. Aim of the work: The aim of this work was to find out whether it is possible to use the provocation test with the neuro-orthopedic equipment Propriomed in the diagnostics of dysfunction of postural stabilization. Methods: With each proband, after briefing, the provocation test on Posturomed, measured in the program Microswing 6 in mode "Stand - Schritt - Messung," was performed three times. The obtained data were evaluated by the program Posturomed Commander by means of eight parameters. The median of the eighth parameter evaluating the resultant total postural stabilization (calculated from three measurements in the program Microsoft Office Excel 2007) was used to divide probands into a group of those posturally stable (n=19) and a group of those with mild postural dysfunction (n=30). With each proband, the provocation test with Propriomed, measured in the program Microswing 5 in mode "Propriomed Körper 4 - fach," was also performed three times after briefing. The obtained data were evaluated by the program Microswing 5 and the median of the resultant total postural stabilization was also calculated from them. In two research groups, we compared the...
Postural stability in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury
Kolář, Miroslav ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Malá, Jitka (referee)
6 Abstract Title: Postural stability in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury. Objectives: The aim of this thesis was to find out if the postural stability is differed in subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury and in the control group after the "4 steps - one leg stance" test had been performed. Methods: This study compared a group with anterior cruciate ligament injury and a control group on the basis of the "4 steps - one leg stance" test. Methods of comparison and analysis were used. Results: The test and all measurements revealed differences in postural stability between subjects with anterior cruciate ligament injury and the control group while they were standing both on operated and non-operated limb. There were also differences in postural stability concerning the one leg stance on the operated and the non-operated limb. Keywords: postural stability, injury, ACL, posturomed
Physiotherapy for Female Urinary Incontinence in Middle-aged
SMRČKOVÁ, Kamila
Urinary incontinence is defined as a condition which leads to inability to control the loss of urine. It represents a socio-psychological problem, which negatively influences the quality of live. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is summarized the knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology of pelvis and pelvic floor, physiology and neurophysiology of micturition, and theory of a urinary incontinence. There are also described types of urinary incontinence, their symptoms, prevention and risk factors of this disease. Furthermore there are involved ways of diagnosing and methods of conservative and invasive treatment. The practical part of the thesis consists of three case studies of women with different stages of stress urinary incontinence. It involves medical history, kinesiological analysis, procedure of the rehabilitation and output examination with a general evaluation of a state of the patients. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the influence of physiotherapy and its methods on improving urinary incontinence of middle-aged women.
