Effects of dance sport in the musculoskeletal system of the individual

Title: Effects of dance sport in the musculoskeletal system of the individual Objectives: The goal is to musculoskeletal examination of selected individuals and evaluation the effect of dance sport on examined status. The results should be the basis for further research in this area. Methods: Kinesiology analysis, bioimpedance analysis and X-ray were used for scrutiny of the musculoskeletal system. Primary and secondary data were analyzed afterwards. Results: Findings of struktural deformities: flat feet (both), both sided hallux valgus with incipient degenerative changes of I. MTP joint (male), limit angle of I. MTP joint of left leg (female). These deviations are related to the using of dance shoes. Muscle imbalance upper thoracic region and lateral imbalance of tested people are the result of the prescribed holding and leading used in dance. Determining the most common functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system of female volleyball players category of cadets VK ČEZ České Budějovice\\

The aim of my bachelor thesis was to find out the most common functional disorders of motion system on cadet volleyball players of VK ČEZ České Budějovice. We did examination of posture, development of spine, hypermobility, we tested the most commonly shortened groups of muscles and muscles with tendency to grow weaker on purpose to find out the muscle imbalance and examinate the motion stereotypes. We processed the acquired facts into chart and evaluated them. Based on the evaluation of the acquired facts the most common functional disorders of motion system were bad posture on frontal level, inadequate development of cervical and lumbar spine, distinctive hypermobility in metacarpophalangeal and radioulnar joints, shortenings of hip flexors and paravertebral muscles, weakenings of deep back muscles, glute muscles and deep flexors of head and neck and incorrect stereotypes in extension of the hip joint, performing push-ups and flexing the nape.

Title: Malfunctions of the Musculoskeletal System and Muscular Dysbalance in Female Volleyball Players Aged 15 to 19 Years Name: Markéta Parkanová Course: Physical and Occupational Education of the Disabled Tutor: Rostislav Vorálek Objective:To detect the most common malfunctions of the musculoskeletal system and to determine muscular dysbalance in female volleyball players aged 15 to 19 years. Methods: Forty-two female volleyball players were examined. Subjects were surveyed in order to reveal any muscular dysbalance and/or any malfunctions of the musculoskeletal system by common means of examination used in physiotherapy. Subjects were all aged 15- 19 years, active high-level-competition volleyball players. The subject group was made out of two teams of players, the results were summarised for both teams together. Results: A high percentage of the subjects suffer from some kind of dysfunction of the musculoskeletal system, above all, muscular dysbalance and poor posture should be mentioned. 83% of the subjects show physiologically incorrect spine posture (round back, flat back), 74% of the subject group suffer from back pain: 48% report pain in lumbal segments and 26% suffer from pain in the thoracic segments. Physical demands of selected professions, creating a compensative program for sedentary profession.

The main theme of my work is finding the locomotive load in selected professions and build a compensation program for professionals with a sedentary job. When selecting this topic for me was the decisive topicality of the selected topic, I see especially in the ever-growing problems with musculoskeletal system of persons employed in sedentary occupations, which are one of the consequences of their employment. The first theoretical part of the thesis includes a detailed analysis of the issues examined based on theories that describe the anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system. I characterize also the sedentary lifestyle and sedentary employment in general and describe workplace ergonomics professionals selected for the needs of my thesis. In theory there need explaining motion compensation modes based on medical aspects of the workforce in selected professions sedentary jobs. The practical part of the thesis was to determine the quantitative research on a sample of probands peace musculoskeletal load in connection with the exercise of their profession. Results of the research were my starting point to build a compensation programs that would positively affect the quality of life of current probands. To meet the targets I have been primarily assisting methods of quantitative research using questionnaires. The reason for choosing this method is smooth and straightforward data collection enabling the rapid analysis and processing. The research group of people that was chosen includes professions that are characterized by their sedentary job: professional driver, an office worker and painter Christmas decorations. I observed the objectivity of the research questions musculoskeletal load in selected professions, I firmly establish the criteria on the basis of purposive sampling was assembled group of three professionals with a sedentary job. During the research, I pay attention to individual cases, carried out their detailed descriptions and subsequently proposed compensatory exercises by the parties for some time applied. After this time was collected by new data and a qualitative comparison with the data starting. I am convinced that the results of my research work can help all persons working in occupations with a sedentary job, provided the inclusion of adequate compensatory exercises in his career, but also leisure life.
Comparison of various spa facility – application of multiple criteria decision making methods

The target of thesis is a comparison of various spa facility dealing with musculoskeletal system by application of multiple criteria decision making methods. Particular spa are evaluated based on criteria that would be crucial when choosing a spa stay. Analysis is performed for contributory care and private patients.
