Mixed-use building
Kmec, Peter ; Krupica, Roman (referee) ; Jelínek, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of the thesis is the processing of project documentation fot the construction design of the Mixed-use building in the city of Brno, a borough of Židenice. Underground and first floor are made of cast-in-place concrete. The vertical load-bearing structures of the second, third and fourth floor are designed from ceramic bricks of 300 mm thickness. Floor slabs in the whole building are made of cast-in-place concrete. The last floor has warm flat green roof. The building is designed so that the underground floor is largely made up of underground garages, oriented to the west. Basement of the building is used for technical background of the building too. The first and second above-ground floors are intended primarily fot trade and services, where the all kinds of the offices of the first two above-ground floors makes up to 75% of the floor area. The third and fourth floors are used for housing. The building is oriented from east to west.
Apartment building
Drinková, Natalie ; Juráň, Vladimír (referee) ; Brukner, Bohuslav (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor‘s thesis is the design of a new apartment building and the elaboration of project documentation for the construction. The apartment building is located on the outskirts of the village Jiříkovice on a flat plot. The building is designed as a detached building with an underground floor and four above-ground floors. The individual floors are connected by staircase and a lift. The above-ground part of the building contains seven residential units. The underground part of the building contains a collective garage and technical facilities of the house. In the collective garage of the apartment building there are six parking spaces, of which one parking space for people with reduced mobility and orientation, and three outdoor parking spaces in front of the entrance to the underground collective garage. The vertical supporting structures of the above-ground part of the building are made of ceramic blocks and in the underground part they are monolithic made of reinforced concrete. Horizontal supporting structures are monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building is based on foundation strips, insulated with a contact thermal insulation system and covered with a warm flat roof.
Small block of flats with a workshop
Glogarová, Tereza ; Stavinohová, Jana (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The new building of a small block of flats which is primarily designed for seniors is the content of the presented work. The building consists of four flats, including one barrier-free, there is also a technical support and manicure and pedicure, too. This is a classic masonry building with no insulation. The building has three floors and a flat roof . Paved and parking areas are adjacent to the building. The project is designed to rural development in Bernartice nad Odrou. Glued laminated beams which form the roof structure are the specialty of the proposal.
Optimal location of transform rollers of lift cabin
Žák, Martin ; Chalupský, Petr (referee) ; Špička, Jiří (advisor)
The work is a project of a component that allows lift transform rollers skewing. Three possible ways of construction are introduced. Their advantages and disadvanatages are mentioned. The best option was selected and checked by FEM. Prestressed bolted connection was also worked out. In the conclusion of the paper there is a source code of the computer programme for maximum rollers skew calculation.
The apartment building Budatín
Hubocká, Zuzana ; Woytela, Jindřich (referee) ; Brzoň, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with design realization of apartment house in suburban part of Žilina-Budatín. The building has been designed for plot n. 712/108, which has got flat surface and it is without any other building. The apartment house has got three above ground storeys and underground, which is used for garage. External load-bearing structures of above ground storeys are designed from blocks Ytong complemented with contact thermal insulation system from mineral wool. External load-bearing walls in basement are made from hollow concrete blocks with concrete encasement and reinforced with steel. Floor structure in the building has been designed from prefabricated floor Rectobeton. The building is roofed with hipped roof under 15° angel. The building has been designed with 8 housing units; one of them has been designed as barrier-free housing unit, 3 two-room, 2 three-room and 2 four-room housing units with different layout of the floor. Moreover there are common room, cellar area with technical room, room for prams and basement garage with 13 parking places in the building.
Sports car rear wing numerical optimization
Feldová, Petra ; Rudolf, Pavel (referee) ; Štefan, David (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on optimization of rear wing of sport car by using open-source software. The optimization of 2D profile of the rear wing is present in this thesis. Python environment was chosen for optimization and evolutionary algorithm was is used as optimization function. This algorithm is further connected to Xfoil software, which is computing aerodynamic characteristic. The ratio of the lift and drag coefficients (C_L/C_D) is chosen as parameter which considers the aerodynamic efficiency. The CFD computation of flowing around the whole car is provided in open-source software OpenFOAM. . The profile optimization results to approximately 7.9 % raise of the parameter C_L/C_D, in the same wing stability. The main benefit of this work is to use open-source software for the optimization and CFD analysis, which in future might save company’s resources by not buying expensive commercial software licenses.
Kindergarten in Pohořelice
Otiepková, Lenka ; Müllerová, Eva (referee) ; Müller, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is processing of the design documentation for realization of the construction of a kindergarten in Pohořelice. It is a detached two-storey building with a partial basement. The building is divided into two functional objects. There are two classes for the kindergarten, kitchen, and offices on the first floor. On the second floor there is two classes of kindergarten too, and three classes for school children. Vertical supporting structures are made of ceramic blocks, in the basement there are reinforced concrete structures. Horizontal load-bearing structures ale mad of prestresses hollow core slabs Spiroll. The object is based on concrete strip foundations. The building is roofed with green flat roof.
Multi-functional Building
