Stress analysis in the oblique loaded ceramic head
Fuis, Vladimír ; Ochranová, M.
The paper considers stress analyses in the total endoprosthesis ceramic head under oblique loading. The FEM program system ANSYS is used for computational modeling of stress in the system.
Computational simulation of the influence of material porosity on test specimen behaviour
Janíček, P. ; Fuis, Vladimír ; Pešlová, F.
EUCOR material is a natural ceramics produced by fusion of natural basalt. A measuring method for investigation of its elastic material characteristics was developed, enabling to evaluate elasticity moduli in tension and compression. Basis lies in meaing strain values at a beam under four-point-flexion using strain gauges. The results showed some discrepancies the causes of which have to be analysed.
Computational modelling of the influence of area tolerance on the contact pressure between the hip joint endoprosthesis parts
Fuis, Vladimír ; Krbec, M. ; Florian, Z.
The paper presents the experiences with the computational modelling of the forces on the inner spherical area of the polyethylene cup of the total hip joint endoprosthesis with consideration of the production inaccuracies (different cup's diameters).
Stress and reliability analyses of hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head under oblique loading
Fuis, Vladimír ; Ochranová, M.
The paper presents the analysis of the oblique load of the hip joint ceramic head pressed onto the tested stem. The system FEM - ANSYS was used for the computational modelling of the stress and deformation of the analysed system. The maximum tensile in the head without the production inaccuracies of the contact areas are for the ISO 7206-5 loading.
Reliability analyses of the hip joint ceramic head under oblique loading production inaccuracies
Fuis, Vladimír
Paper presents the analysis on the stress in the ceramic head and its reliability for different loading angle, which simulates the physiological loading. The analysed system consists of the testing stem and ceramic head of the hip joint endoprosthesis thout the production inaccuracies in the region of the cone contact area between the head and the stem. The stress is calculated by FEM - system ANSYS, head's reliability is based on Weibull weakest link theory
Influence of the interaction of the production inaccuracies on the hip joint ceramic head reliability
Fuis, Vladimír
The aim of this paper is to refill the information about the influence of the production inaccuracies interaction.
The experiences with computational modeling on the head with the oblique load
Ochranová, M. ; Fuis, Vladimír
The paper aim is the problem of the influence of the different type of ceramic head of the total hip joint endoprosthesis loading to its stress. The analyses of the results is prefably focused on the tensile stress in the head, which is important for the limiting states of the brittle fracture.
Hip joint ceramic head reliability versus contact cone production inaccuracies
Fuis, Vladimír
The paper contains the results of the stress and reliability analyses of the total hip joint endoprosthesis ceramic head. The modelled system consists of the two parts: ceramic head and steel stem. The ordering of mentioned system is according the norm ISO 7206-5. The model production inaccuracies of the contact taper of the head and the stem are considered. The head stresses are obtained from the FEM solution and the head reliability is based on the Weibull weakest link theory.
Stress and reliability analyses of hip joint endoprosthesis production inaccuracies influence
Fuis, Vladimír
The paper deals the problem of the stress calculation in the ceramic head with interaction of the production inaccuracies of the cone contact areas. In addition the head reliability calculation based on the Weibull weakest link theory is presented.
The physiological VS norminal loading the ceramic head of hip joint endoprosthesis
Ochranová, M. ; Fuis, Vladimír
The paper aim is the problem of the influence of the different type of ceramic head of the total hip joint endoprosthesis loading to its stress. The analyses of the results is prefably focused on the tensile stress in the head, which is important for the limiting states of the brittle fracture
