This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of trends and context of foreign trade dynamics of the Czech Republic with live cattle and cattle meat in its territorial and commodity structure. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the role of live cattle within farming systems and in relation to use of natural resources. Furthermore, the current business structure of agribusiness and the role of agrarian and foreign trade is characterized. The practical part deals with the identification of cattle market development tendencies, analysis and evaluation of foreign trade. The Czech Republic has a comparative advantage in trade with live cattle, which is constantly growing. In the market of cattle meat the Czech Republic loses, does not gain the comparative advantage and imports from abroad.

Nové formy potravinových trhů v městě Brně

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to contribute to the recognition of alternative food networks in the Czech Republic. The work focuses on the food market FoodPark and the context of its foundation and development. The thesis defines the major signs of such a form of market and identifies involved participants. Motives, necessary preconditions, and potential benefits and risks resulting from the involvement of traders in FoodPark were analysed and evaluated on the basis of semi-structured interviews. The analysis is supported by observations performed at specific markets. FoodPark is one of the regular food markets in Brno and offers the possibility for a diverse group of producers to distribute their products. However, according to the traders, the main advantage is the possibility of advertising and raising awareness about their products.

Podmínky rozvoje a reakce regionálního potravinářského podniku na změnu podnikatelského prostředí

The diploma thesis is focused on the development and reaction of the regional food enterprises in the changing agriculture business environment. In this context, the business environment in agriculture business commodity verticals, the specifics of small and medium-sized enterprises development and the development of commodity verticals of meat in the Czech Republic are generally characterized. Based on these general contexts, the current situation of a particular small meat processing enterprise in the district of Žďár nad Sázavou was evaluated as a basis for discussion of the assumptions, benefits, risks and possibilities of development of this type of entrepreneurial subjects. From these findings, recommendations are made to improve the position of that company on the market.

This Bachelor thesis deals with the development of agricultural sector in Moravian region. The prime goal of this thesis is to determine main commodities of this region and to assess their progress. The thesis is devided into two parts - the literal part and the analytic part. In the first part the basic concepts related to agriculture sector such as the agriculture, agribusiness, agricultural production and agrarian market are defined. The second part describes the region itself and the main commodities that are being produced or breed here. Their development is analyzed in this part as well.

Ekonomické aspekty výroby vína na příkladu vybraného podniku

This thesis deals with the analysis of an economic aspect of wine production on the example of selected wine company Znovín Znojmo a.s. There is defined a commodity vertical of grapevine in the context of agribusiness in the first part. Then the wine sector and its valid legal legislation are characterized, wine-growing areas and sub-areas and the situation on the Czech market are defined, including the development of the individual price levels. There is a deal with the economic evaluation of the selected company itself in the second part. The financial analysis of the company Znovín Znojmo a.s. is focused on the period 2013-2015. The summarization of the costs, which are necessary for the wine production, are also part of the thesis. These materials were provided from the internal materials of the company. It can be said, the company is financially sound and does not have to deal with any major problems.

Formování a vývoj cen pšenice potravinářské na příkladu České republiky

The thesis contains an evaluation of the situation and development of two commodity verticals with the following final products: wheat flour and wheat white bread baked goods. In the thesis there are identified factors influencing prices levels of the commodity verticals. I have made the price transmission too. By the average elasticity coefficients calculating (EPT) there was analyzed the price transmission at the verticals commodity. This analysis confirmed the functioning of the demand-oriented model, in which the subsequent links of the chain influence the prior ones. Furthermore, it was found that at the both levels of commodity verticals it leads to the significantly higher price transmission in the case of inflation than to decrease. The determination coefficients of commodity verticals confirmed slight time delay at the first and second stage of these verticals.

This thesis deals with document Agenda 21, and its fulfilment through the local agenda. In first part of thesis I focus on evaluation of available literature and on general introduction to the problems. Next parts of thesis are focused on the local Agenda 21 in Czech Republic, especially focusing on the fulfilment of the local Agenda 21 in South Moravian region. The goal of this thesis is to describe specific activities within project called Zdravý kraj (Healthy Region), application of Agenda 21 on companies in agribusiness and proposal of possible mea-sures to improve status of the local Agenda 21 in South Moravian region.

Komparace produkčních nákladů luskovin na trhu v ČR

The present diploma thesis deals with evaluation of changes in the cost of cultivation of peas, characteristics of surveyed commodities, identifying changes in the crop areas and yields, the price level of commodity peas. The theoretical part describes the agrarian sector and its current form. It also characterizes investigated commodity peas and the individual cost items. The analytical part summarizes the development of Czech agriculture, particularly crop production. It also focuses on the development of price levels pea agricultural producer prices. The next section is an analysis of the development and structure of the costs of planting peas.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the development of wheat commodity vertical, characterize the decisive markets commodity verticals and to describe their current development. The first part describes the basic concepts that are closely related to the topic of bachelor thesis. The thesis explains economic theories about the functioning of the market, agribusiness and describes the selected commodity with the course of the whole commodity verticals. In the second, practical part, are analyzed and graphically processed factors, which influencing the commodity market. The conclusion of the thesis is the evaluation of all acquired data and knowledge. The work evaluated the development of growing areas, production, yields, consumption and production, price development, as well as the foreign market. The growing market power was confirmed by the results of individual commodity verticals.

Sociální podmínky pro agrobyznys: případová studie Kahan

This thesis deals with social conditions for agribusiness and its development in the microregion Kahan, including its demographic and social structure. The object of the study is the analysis of social aspects that affect agribusiness in the microregion Kahan. The thesis is divided into two primary parts, the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on explanation of the basic terms regarding the topic followed by the characteristics of each village located in the analyzed microregion. Another part of the thesis is the description of agriculture in the microregion Kahan and the area of cadastral territory of relevant municipalities. The conclusion consists and sums up all findings with recommendations and suggestions for further development of the microregion Kahan. The microregion Kahan has relatively good potential for the agribusiness growth.
