Apartment building – selected design elements

The first part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the design of selected load-bearing elements of an apartment building, it is a balcony console, a prefabricated staircase and a ceiling structure above a typical floor. The second part is devoted to the assessment of the masonry walls of the building. The output is drawings of the shape and reinforcement of these load-bearing elements. The calculations were performed using SCIA Engineer 19.1, IDEA StatiCa and Microsoft Excel. The drawing documentation was processed by CAD software AutoCAD 2018 with graphic superstructure RECOC.
Concrete structure covered parking for apartment buildings

The aim of diploma thesis is a design and an assessment of selected structural elements of one floor in monolithic concrete structures serving as covered parking for an apartment house. Software RFEM is used here to calculate internal forces. The thesis also includes manual calculation of internal forces and comparison with software results. It also includes drawings of proposed solution. All calculation are done in accordance with Eurocode 2.
Multi-storey building

This thesis deals with design of steel structure multi-storey garage. It is the six-storey steel structure of rectangular plan with dimensions of 35,2 x 83,2 m and a height of 18,5 meters. The structure is designed for the site Brno. Static calculation is solved by a combination of manual calculation and calculation using software Scia engineer. There are the following main load bearing structural elements designed and examined in the structural analysis: truss, purlin, bracing, column, composite beam, joints, foot and anchoring. Comparison of tank variants from reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete

The diploma thesis deals with design and comparison of variants of cast-in-place concrete sewage tank made from reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete. The layout of sewage tank is rectangular. The tank is in longitudinal way divided into two chambers. The tank is not roofed and is partialy embedded in the ground. The design for ultimate limit state and for service limit state is made for both variants. There is focus on generation and development of cracks in service limit state. For calcuation of internal forces is used model made in software SCIA Engineer, based on finite element method. The reinforced concrete and pre-stressed concrete versions are compared in last part in term of volumes of materials needed. Also there are proposed possible savings.
Overground Parking House

The bachelor thesis deals with the static design of selectet part od the structure multy-functional house in Brno. The building consist of o basement, three floors, attic and roof trusses. The supporting structure consists of a monolithic conrete slab and ceiling of the attic Miako. Vertical load-bearing elements are bulit form bricks Porotherm. Column under the girders in 1.NP is plain concrete. The elements under consideration is made drawings.
Static analysis of reconstructed family house

The bacheor’s thesis deals with design of masonry and cast-in-place concrete constructions during reconstruction and adjustmnent of house. The main part of thesis is focused on design of cast-in-place concrete two-way floor slab. The thesis also deals with designing of cast-in-place concrete staircase and foundations and also masonry walls. The calculation was performed by SCIA Engineer software and verified by manual calculation.
Reinforced concrete frame construction

The bachelor’s thesis describes the design and assessment of the load-bearing part of the reinforced concrete structure of the department store – the frame. Respectively design and assessment of individual structural elements of the this frame at ultimate limit states. This is a rung frame R1, column S1, footings P1 and floor plate D1 above the first floor of this building.
Reinforced concrete structure

This bachelor‘s thesis includes structural analysis and check of reinforced concrete, cast-in-place construction of a building for parking. Here is solved locally supported floor slab above first above ground floor. Structural analysis was solved by program Scia Engineer 14 and checked by manual calculation. Next step was dimensioning for ultimate limit state, concretely for bending moment, punching and for serviceability limit state, concretely for limitation of cracks. For this bachelor’s thesis were made drawings based on calculated results.
Prefabricated concrete structure

The master thesis is about a design of supporting structure of prefabricated skeleton hall. The major part of a design are an internal trasverse and longitudinal frames, which contents roof reinforce concrete truss, columns, beam and ceiling joists. All the load acting to the bearing structure is transferred to the prefabricate footing made of reinforce concrete. Other parts of the bulding are not solved in this thesis. The content of the thesis consists of an assembly drawing of parts of the skeleton and the static calculation according to the actual international standards. The output of each static calculation is drawing of a shape of part and its reinforcement.
