Bachelor thesis analyses the development of the structure of the foreign exchange market. The theoretical part describes global foreign exchange market, its core and functions, subjects entering to the market and also the technique of performing operations. The empirical part focuses on the development of the foreign exchange market in Hong Kong and afterward this market is compared to the foreign exchange market in Singapore, which foreign exchange markets are the world's financial centres.
Influence of big sports events on exchange rates

The subject of thesis "Influence of big sports events on exchange rates" is to analyse movement of exchange rates during sports events. Currency pairs are studied for this purpose in various time periods. Technical indicators from technical analysis are used to identify similar elements in movement of exchange rates. Results of analysis answer the question, whether sports events such as Olympic Games or world championship can influence exchange rate.
Market efficiency and automated trading

The dissertation thesis deals with the problem efficiency of the spot currency market. The main aim of this thesis is to verify the Efficient-market hypothesis on the majo foreign exchange pairs, and especially in the short term. The author focuses on the effective functioning of foreign exchange markets. The behaiour of the five main spot foreign exchange pairs - EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/CHF, USD/JPY and USD/CAD was analyzed in the thesis. Due to the increasing rise of intraday trades and growing popularity of margin accounts among retail investors, spot rates have been investigated primarily through a high-frequency data, that were collected for a period equal to or shorter than one day. The hypothesis of the effective exchange rate behaviour was verified by both using statistical methods, such as through automated trading systems, which were designed to assess the economic importance of the theory and to exclude or confirm the possibility of achieving above-average profits of retail investors on the foreign exchange markets.
Analysis of technical indicators on foreign exchange market

The goal of this diploma work is aplication of technical analysis indicators, especially trend indicators and oscillators. Analysis was made for period of 5 years back on one title from foreign exchange market. Analysis indentifies whether are indicators more profitable than benchmark in the long term. Analysis also examine whether combination of indicators earn more, than indicators themselves.

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyse and assess the technical analysis as a method of foreign exchange rate prediction, clarify the calculation, usage, advantages and disadvantages of technical indicators widely used on foreign exchange market and define the utilization by foreign exchange market participants. The first part presents the principles of technical analysis and delivers a comparison to fundamental and psychological analysis. The second and main part is dedicated to analysing the foreign exchange rate by particular technical indicators. To conclude, the foreign exchange market analyst's perspective and advantages and disadvantages of technical analysis applied on foreign exchange market is added.
The foreign exchange market and the causes of its instability based on the analysis in selected countries

The subject of this thesis is to evaluate the main causes of instability in the foreign exchange market in selected countries. The first part is devoted to a summary of the basic theoretical knowledge about the foreign exchange market, its organization and operations of entities intended to hedge against exchange rate risk. The second part focuses on the exchange rate systems. The third chapter focuses on chosen economies, which are included in the final analysis. The main point of the analytical part is focused on the development of turnover on the foreign exchange market in selected countries in terms of the nature of the operations, currency and traded entities. The comparison of the dynamics and structure of the foreign exchange market turnover in selected countries, the system takes into account the applicable exchange rate. Sweden, Denmark, Hungary and Bulgaria were chosen for the analysis, performed during the period 2002 - 2011

This bachelor thesis describes the function of the foreign exchange market and function of exchange offices trading in the Czech Republic. It is divided into three parts. The first chapter engages in exchange rate theory, it explains and describes a creation of exchange rate and brings out happening in the recent foreign exchange market. The second part is applied to Czech legislation, which edits running of exchange offices. In the last part is described an everyday running of an exchange office.
Application of the Money Management in Foreign Exchange Market Trading and Recognition of Such Trades in Accounting of Banks

My diploma thesis discusses the power and importance of money management when trading foreign exchange market. With the help of real examples it aims to demonstrate the difficulty of the future foreign exchange rate estimation and the ambiguousness of the market analyses results. Comparing the results of real trading in the spirit of diversification to the actual results of Vince's model, the thesis points out whether the application of diversification is a real necessity or not. The thesis also highlights the impact of diversification on the trading system performance compared to Vince's model. The final part proposes a possible practical accounting solution to the foreign exchange speculative trades.
