The research was conducted on the basis of a qualitative survey. The data were processed in the software program ATLAS.ti, in which graphic outputs were created. The analysis and interpretation of the obtained data revealed the needs of the parents in the period of divorce or separation and also that the intervening organizations provide the families with the necessary support, which the families consider to be very important. However, there are also areas of support that parents consider insufficient or missing. Working with families depends on the competencies of the experts, but many of them use other support tools for parents´arrangements when they work with the clients.
