Multirezidual analysis of selected pesticides in barley
Ehrenbergerová, Martina ; Duroňová, Kateřina (referee) ; Mikulíková, Renata (advisor)
Barley is one of the economically important crops. Its production is primarilly used as fodder barley and also in brewery and food industry. Particularly the part of its production intended for malt production must be of high quality. There are some important factors which can influence the quality of the crops, such as harmful organisms – diseases, pests and weed. In order to regulate the occurence of harmful organisms, agricultural measures are taken in the integrated protection system and resistant variants and pesticides are used. The higher the demand on the production quality, the bigger is the volume and the spectrum of pesticides used. The increasing extent of pesticide use also poses a risk for internal production quality and the environment. This fact makes it necessary to monitor unfavourable influences, including the contents of the pesticide residues in barley. This work studies the possibility of multiresidual determination of some selected pesticides in malting barley.
Utilize of instrumentality PSE (Pressurized Solvent Extraction) in food analysis
Grulichová, Hana ; Vítová, Eva (referee) ; Vespalcová, Milena (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is engaged in the modern method of extraction PSE (pressurized solvent extraction). There have been two types of this apparatus, One PSE and Fast PSE. In this thesis, the apparatus and its behavior is described. Extraction of anthraquinones, strychnine, berberine, glycyrrhizin, ligustilides from medical plants is presented below. These substancies are used mainly in treatment for various diseases. In this work is noticed trace elements, tocopherols, alkylbenzene sulphonate, isoflavone, dionine, betacarotene, vitamin E, polyphenol extracted from biological samples. Utilization of the substancies from biological samples is very different. Some one decreased risk of osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, cancer and other is by contrast deleterious toxin. High attention is devoted to substancies presented in food such as polychlorinated biphenyls, various pesticides, lipids, oxysterols. These substancies are in food rather undesirable than is why their amount is determinated to the food isn´t deleterious.
Way of assign of stereoregularity of polypropylene
Hoza, Adam ; Tocháček, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíla, Jan (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to evaluate and compare isotactic index value determination of polypropylene homopolymer using extraction and solubility methods. A series of nine PP samples in a powder form specified by molecular weights in the range from 29 to 154 kg/mol was investigated. The methods afforded separation of polypropylene into two portions, the soluble fraction, and the insoluble one. Extractions were carried out in a modified Kumagawa extractor. Polypropylene extracts were obtained using several organic solvents (pentane, hexane, heptane, and octane) at their boiling points. Soluble fractions were obtained by dissolving the PP sample in high boiling point solvents (xylene, decahydronaphthalene, and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene) and cooling the polymer solution to 23°C. All the fractions were characterized using 13C-NMR, SEC, and DSC methods. Comparison of the extraction and solubility methods showed significant differences in the amount, stereochemical structure, molecular weight, and crystallinity of soluble, and insoluble fractions.
Determination of eutrophication potential of particles in rivers and waterbody sediments
JAN, Jiří
Extraction solutions were assessed to find the most appropriate method for characterisation of particles in the context of release or uptake phosphorus in non-calcareous regions. Advantages and limitations of methods for determination of different phosphorus (P) forms and its important binding components iron and aluminium (hydr)oxides, were pointed out. Characterisations of these forms, that show highly different behaviour under changing environmental conditions, were used for the assessment of particles saturation with respect to P. Sorption/desorption behaviour of soil particles susceptible to erosion and their content of plant available P was tested. Strong correlation, which is dependent on P saturation ratio, was used to propose a method for the determination of soil erosion impact to supply dissolved P in stream waters of variable dissolved P concentration.

Taxation of mineral resources extraction
Císařová, Iva ; Láchová, Lenka (advisor) ; Matějka, Václav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyze reasons for specific taxation of the mineral resources extraction, to present what kind of taxes can be applied for such purposes and to compare them by calculating the tax liability of hypothetical company located in representative provinces of Canada. This calculation proved that when mix of taxes is applied, where part of the income is taxed by corporate income tax and on the other part of income extraction tax is levied by using royalties, the same government revenue can be reached as when linear tax rate is applied as an extraction tax. However, royalties also bring other advantages, e.g. the simplicity of administering extraction taxes or low demands in calculating the tax liability for extractive companies.
European Arrest Warrant in Theory and Practice
Sikorská, Eliška ; Grmelová, Nicole (advisor) ; Žák, Květoslav (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with the European Arrest Warrant in theory and practice. In the theoretical part, the thesis is primarily focused on the legal regulation of the international judicial cooperation in criminal matters within the European Union, its development from a historical perspective and its current status. In the second part, the thesis deals with the practical performance of the European Arrest Warrant and with the related complications. The issue here is, that after ten years of the enforcement of the European Arrest Warrant, many doubts over its performance and subsequent impact on the fundamental rights of citizens have raised.
Modularization of extraction of public procurement data to RDF
Káňa, Jakub ; Mynarz, Jindřich (advisor) ; Dudáš, Marek (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with extension of data extractor of public contracts gained from server Tenders Electronic Daily. The thesis covers a modularized extractor 10 new types of public contract notices. The data is retrieved from XML by using transformation scenario and they are extracted to RDF/XML data format. The extension is realized on TED-XML and META-XML formats of published data. The work also expands and creates independent library of functions. The library is documented. To ensure the accuracy of the extracted data in terms of syntax and also used ontologies there are used validation tools. For command line syntax validation Jena Apache Riot and for testing the correctness of output in terms of use Public Contracts Ontology RDFUnit testing tool. The contribution of this work is the practical part, allowing you to convert semi-structured data from the Journal of procurement of EU Member States into a fully structured data. Enhanced extractor allows you to extract data from the notices type F04 - F09 and F15 - F18.
Taxation of mineral resources extraction
Medunová, Lucie ; Láchová, Lenka (advisor) ; Kouba, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to compare the approaches of the taxation of the mineral resources in chosen developing and developed countries and to introduce different ways of mineral resources taxation used in the world. The thesis mainly deals with taxation of an extraction of petroleum, which is one of the most important resources. Selected countries are Nigeria and Angola, which are the largest petroleum producers in Africa from at the forefront of world rankings, followed by Russia, which is currently the largest petroleum producer in the world and finally the United Kingdom and Norway which are among the largest producers of petroleum within Europe. The first chapter of this thesis deals with the characterization of minerals. The second chapter shows the ways and specifics of their taxation. In the third part there are the characteristics of developing and developed countries and the differences in their economies and ways of taxation. There are also provided basic information about the selected states. The ways of the taxation of mineral resources in five selected countries and their comparison are presented in the last chapter.
