Design of bridge on highway D1
Kopřiva, Jan ; Nováček, Jan (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design bridge over the valley on D1 highway. Length of the structure is 170 meters. Main structure is four spans prestressed beam. The length of fields is 36+48+48+36 meters. The structure is examined in all phases of construction, including the operating phase according to valid standards.
Pedestrian bridge in Staré Město
Němec, Martin ; Zich, Miloš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis “Pedestrian bridge in the village Staré Město” is focused on reinforced concrete of pedestrian bridge for walkers and bikers. The pedestrian bridge we can find on the river called Krupá. The structure is considered as a frame. The goal of the work is suggest a horizontal part of the frame and supporting wall. Calculations were made in the program called Scia Engineer. Appraisals were made by hand.
Retaining Walls
Pospíšil, Jan ; Boštík, Jiří (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
The objective of thesis is to create a comprehensive overwiew of the most commonly used retaining walls in the Czech Republic and to characterize their properties, method of assessment, advantages, disadvantages or causes of failures. Based on these findings will be designed selected type of retaining wall in Rebešovice.
Design of reinforced concrete subway
Kopřiva, Jan ; Koláček, Jan (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to design structure of reinforced concrete subway under the highway. Length of the bridge is 4 meters. The structure is concidered as a frame clamped into basis. In this thesis will be designed a slab, wall and the base bend.
Influence of Partial Material Factors According to EUROCODE 7-1 - Shallow FOundations
Koudelka, Petr
A formerly presented similarity solution of bearing capacity of shallow foundations (Koudelka 2006) improved according to EC 7-1 is used in the paper. The solution forms the basis of a comparative analysis enabling a simpler numerical analysis. The scale of the analysis should be sufficiently wide to cover the usual soils. In the frame work of the analysis, the EC7-1 and ČSN 73 1001 design results are compared with the tables of design bearing capacities of ČSN 73 1001. The result evaluation leads to a simple non-conventional conclusion.
MKP analýza únosnosti vícevrstvého železničního podloží
Jiroušek, Ondřej ; Kunecký, Jiří ; Jíra, J. ; Horníček, L.
Numerical investigation of bearing capacity of railway substructure using finite element method and laboratory experiments is presented. A set of parametric FE models is built and unified approach for assessment of bearing capacity of the construction presented. Results are presented in terms of design graphs, where for every type of substructure design resulting bearing capacity is evaluated. Presented methodology is easily extensible for reinforcing effects of layer inclusion, geogrid placement or use of cemented layers.
Podobnost únosnosti vrtaných pilot podle ČSN 731002
Koudelka, Petr
The paper deals with a similarity solution of bearing capacity of shallow foundations according to ČSN 73 1004 with a number of parameters.
Numerical Analysis of Shallow Foundations Bearing Capacity according to Czech Standard ČSN 73 1001 (Subsoil under shallow foundations)
Koudelka, Petr
The theoretical base of the EC7-1 Limit State Design is very dissimilar, more conservative, than the one of the Czech basic standard ČSN 73 0031 (Structural reliability - Basic requirements for design) which is proved by the long-term successful practice. Due to it an analysis of shallow foundations (and others geotechnical tasks) has appeared necessary. The numerical analysis results have been carried out according to the previous solution of the similarity function and are presented in the Paper.
Podobnost plošných základů podle ČSN 73 1001
Koudelka, Petr
Now, that the translation into Czech and the National Annex of EC7-1 (EUROCODE 7 - Geotechnical design, Part 1: General rules) are carried out it seems convenient to make a broad comparative analysis of the EC7-1 and ČSN 73 1001 design procedures. The calculating procedure according to ČSN 73 1001 requires 8 inputs, the similar procedure according to EC7-1 requires 10 inputs. These numbers of inputs yield a huge number of combinations for a comparative analysis. The paper deals with a similarity solution of bearing capacity of shallow foundations according to ČSN 73 1001. The solution should form the base of the comparative analysis base for simpler numerical analysing.
