Determining of Oil Change Interval of Tractors
Pavlišta, Libor ; Hönig, Vladimír (advisor) ; Mařík, Jakub (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis was determination of tractor engines oil drain interval. In theoretical chapters is described theoretical background of the field of engines lubrication and issue of use of motor oils in practice. The drain intervals were determined using a tribotechnical diagnosis of collected samples of a motor oil from tractors. The analysis of the samples were processed in a laboratory and the dominant parameters that influence the wear of the oil were detected. On the basis of the application of a trend analysis were determined the reference values of the levels of oil degradation. After taking the evaluation and discussion of the results were defined oil drain intervals for the tractors. At the end there was made an evaluation of the results and operational recommendations. The thesis includes also an economical evaluation.
Oils for combustion engines
Dzurenda, Ján ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with information search of the current state of knowledge in the field of lubrication of combustion motors, i.e. lubrication systems and oils for combustion motors. The introduction of work focuses on the issue of lubrication systems, theirs partitions by methods of lubrication and description of the main parts of the lubrication system. Next part is focused on the oils of motors. In this part is referred to division of motor oils, requirements for motor oils and characteristics of motor oils. Follow part describes issues associated with the lubrication of combustion motors. Part cites main factors that affect the properties of motor oils i.e. fuel, water, glycol and dirt. Further is processed problem of motor working i.e. temperature, amount and consumption of oil. The last part describes the issues of biodegradability and actual requirements of application for motor oils.

Testing of motor oils
Čtveráček, Martin ; Novotný, Pavel (referee) ; Maršálek, Ondřej (advisor)
Summary and specification of testing combustion engines motor oils are mentioned in this bachelor’s thesis. First chapter describes types of wear and its incidence in combustion engines. The main topic of this thesis is methods of testing motor oils by means of tribotechnical diagnostic tests. Next chapter is about defectoscopic methods and describes its use. The last part of this thesis deals with periods of oil change.
Lubricants in Up-to-date Combustion Engines
Čech, Martin ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
In my bachelor work I have tried to analyze informations about lubricants in up to date combustion engines. This work deals with motor oils and their viscosity and performance classification The special motor oils for motorcycles are part of this bachelor work too. One of the aims of bachelor work provide informations about gear oils for automatic as well as manual transmissions and their classification. This work describes also questions about additives.
Provozní degradace motorového oleje v zemědělské technice
Řezníček, Ladislav
This thesis focuses on the description and detection of service degradation of engine oil in agricultural technology. The first part is an introduction to lubricants. Followed by an overview of the classification of motor oils according to their composition and viscosity. In other chapters the thesis deals with the the issue of lubrication of internal combustion engines and further clarification of the causes of penetration of wear particles in the engine. The experimental part of the work examines the motor oil used in the tractor Zetor. Oil samples were taken at intervals of 50 hours . In the beginning there are described the methods and appliances used to determine parameters of the samples . Final results are processed and show in charts. Their valuesdetermine the coefficients of determination R2. A total of eight samples of engine oil MADIT M7 ADS III were used. Seven of the samples were taken from the oil tank of the tractor and one sample was brand new. For these samples the chemical composition was examined as well as the amount of wear particles in the oil . Furthermore, the density and dynamic viscosity were meas-sured. Kinematic viscosity was calculated based on these two parameters. The state of degradation of engine oil was finally determined from all of these results.
Reologický profil motorového oleje používaného ve čtyřdobých pístových motorech
Kumbár, Vojtěch
This dissertation deals with rheological and flow behavior of engine oil used in four-stroke piston engines. Experiments were performed using some selected oils used in motorcycles, cars and agricultural machinery. Samples of used oil were collected and analyzed. The following parameters were measured: time-dependence of dynamic viscosity and shear stress of engine oils, the dependence of shear stress on the shear rate of engine oil, temperature dependence of engine oil density and temperature dependence of dynamic and kinematic viscosity of engine oil. To evaluate the degree of degradation of analyzed engine oils, the measured results were compared with data concerning new, (non-used) motor oil of the same trademark and specification. Thereafter, mathematical models were elaborated using the results obtained in individual measurements. Correlation coefficients and coefficients of determination existing between measured and calculated values were calculated and evaluated. Elaborated mathematical models can be used when predicting the behavior of engine oils and liquids with similar rheological characteristics.
Consumer competition in the car workshop segment
Brož, Jan ; Vávra, Oldřich (advisor) ; Kozák, Petr (referee)
This paper deals with description and evaluation of the specific consumer competition implemented by OMV Česká republika, s.r.o. First part is devoted strictly to theory like consumer competition's place within the marketing mix, legal arrangements and tax aspects of the consumer competitions. Practical part commences with introduction of the company OMV Česká republika, s.r.o., continues with analysis of the Czech lubes market and short excursion to European legislation in the field of lubes. Furthermore, the paper introduces EPG (Engine Protection Guarantee) programme implemented by OMV Česká republika, s.r.o., the consumer competition used as support of this programme and also marketing support of the consumer competition. At the end, the paper is evaluating the whole consumer competition.
