Crime in the area of narcotics and psychotropic substances
ŽÁČEK, Aleš
The thesis is focused on the issue of drug crime. Includes definitions of basic concepts related to drug-related crime and substance abuse. Primarily it deals with drug crime, which is associated with the production, trade, or otherwise dealing in drugs. Besides the primary drug crime, the work will focus on crime under the influence of drugs and for the purpose of obtaining it. Another part of the work deals with the search procedures, providing and evaluating evidence, which eliminates damage or irreversible impairment of major criminological tracks or other important information. The conclusion gives some practical examples documenting the growing aggression and brutality addicts to commit crime.

MONITORING OF SOCIALLY TOLERATED ADDICTIVE SUBSTANCES USING BY CHILDREN AT BASIC SCHOOLS
TEPLÁ, Simona
The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to map the problems of using socially tolerated addictive substances (alcohol, tobacco, medicines misuse, caffeine, anabolic substances) by children at basic schools and to find out differences or similarities between children living in the countryside and children living in the town, in term of their preference and attitude to the addictive substances. This thesis also verifies two specified hypotheses. To collect data was used the questionnaire given pupils of the ninth grades in the basic schools. Nowadays the risk of using addictive substances is still increasing. This bachelor thesis can be used as an information source of the actual state of using addictive substances and can be also helpful for providing effective prevention.

Measurement of Persistent Organic Pollutants and Inorganic toxic Substances in Flue Gases from Crematory Furnace
Pekárek, Vladimír ; Tydlitát, Vratislav
Literature data about content of PCDD/Fs in flue gases from crematories, two day measurements of pollutants from one crematory furnace are described. Found concentrations of particulate matter and inorganic gases (SO2, NOx, CO, VOC, HCl, HF), concentrations of toxic metals and of PCBs, PAHs and PCDD/Fs are presented.

The burning-out of organic substances from ceramic matter enriched by ammonium aluminium sulphate
Stoklasa, Jaroslav
Dynamics and kinetics of gas removal from system is observed. After the decomposition of ammonium aluminium sulphate, aluminium oxide remains in the ceramics. Oxides of sulphur influence a timing formation of black cores and a thermal decomposition of organic compounds.

Prevention of the Rise of Dependency on Addictive Substances in Older Adult Women
ČMUGROVÁ, Žaneta
The dissertation contains the general nature of physical and psychological changes in older adult women, a brief definition of most commonly abused addictive substances within the given target group and the factors that influence the rise of dependency on addictive substances. The typical causes for the rise of dependency in older adult women are analyzed in detail. The final part of the dissertation is dedicated to current possibilities for prevention of the rise of dependency in women in the afore-mentioned age. Herewith new forms of timely prevention are offered in the area of health services, media and free time based on influence of individual women´s attitudes.

Use of RNA Interference for Targeted Inhibition of Gene Expression on the mRNA Level

Interaction of Proteins with Low-molecular Substances in vitro. Effect of Glycation, Substances of Plant Origin, and Combination of these Factors on Function and Spectral Properties of Selected Proteins.
Trnková, Lucie ; Dršata, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Patočka, Jiří (referee) ; Mikšík, Ivan (referee)
Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences Candidate Ing. Lucie Trnková Supervisor Prof. MUDr. Jaroslav Dršata, CSc. Title of Doctoral Thesis Interaction of proteins with low-molecular substances in vitro. Effect of glycation, substances of plant origin, and combination of these factors on function and spectral properties of selected proteins. Plant polyphenolic compounds naturally occurring in human diet possess a wide range of biological and pharmacological properties. They can interact with various proteins including enzymes. Their interaction with serum albumin has a great significance because of its ability to bind, transport and store many endogenous and exogenous low-molecular compounds present in blood circulation. One of the objectives of this thesis was to study chemical structure-binding affinity relationships of two important groups of polyphenolic substances, namely hydroxycinnamic acids and catechins (flavanols), with the molecule of serum albumin in the in vitro models using spectroscopic (UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence quenching method) and electrophoretic (native and SDS PAGE) methods. Some polyphenols caused the changes in protein conformation and the relationships between their structures and obtained...

Metoda vrstevnic a modelování proudění nemísitelných nestlačitelných tekutin
Čapek, Marek ; Maršík, František (referee) ; Hron, Jaroslav (advisor)
The focus of this thesis are three-dimensional simulations of flow of two immiscible incompressible viscous fluids and distribution of concentration transported by the flow where the free interface between the fluids is realized by level-set method. It is applied to blood flow and coagulation. The blood flow is described using Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible fluids, numerical method is done by finite element method with Q2 - Q1 elements and the problem is solved as coupled. The distribution of concentration is described using transport equation, discretization is done using Q1 elements.

Vertical bucket conveyor
Holcner, Petr ; Šťastný, Antonín (referee) ; Jonák, Martin (advisor)
This thesis describes design of vertical bucket conveyor (elevator) for vertical transport of grain. The global design elevator is based on functional and capacitance calculation with links to the surrounding area and buildings. Detail of work is focused in design of placement power in elevator head with development of the other designed parts. It is means total placement of drive, the drive shaft and the cylinder in elevator head and method of emptying bucket.
