An In-Depth Probe into the Lifestyle of Teenagers and Adolescents Aged 15-26 Living in a Small Village.

For the composition of the thesis was elected a theme The Profound Probe into lifestyle of adolescent and young people range from 15- 26 years old, living in a small village. The main aim was to gain information, on whose base would be possible to characterize the way how adolescent people between the age of 15- 26 live in village Pojbuky. In theoretic parts are summarized the present knowledge given to phenomenon. For that it was used the content analysis of relevant documents. There are explained and defined important notions related to with the subject mentioned above. The thesis was processed by selecting the qualitative research. For this it was used the questionnaire technique -profounder interview. Thematic spheres of the interview focused on several categories, and then a process of open encoding was used. To pick the research set was used the total selection technique. For choice the above mentioned aims were given three experimental questions: What is most frequent form of spending the free time at current youth in villages? Is there any place and traditions in young peoples lives who live in villages? What risk factors most often influence adolescents and young people in a range of age between 15- 26 years? All these questions were answered in the thesis. The work reflects the present subject of Czech society: the live of contemporary village, namely from the adolescent?s point of view. Ingoing generation, who will influence village settlement, forming the natural landscapes and character of the specific local environment,. Furthermore the work contributes to enrichment in education about the issues of the young peoples lifestyle in villages.
Risk factors in the development of rating disorders.

The thesis deals with risk factors for eating disorders. The theoretical part describes the various disorders and thein symptoms and consequences. Further theoretical part analyzes of the emergence of these disorders and thein gradual historical development, which during its existence passed. Another part of the risk factors for eating disorders and possible wals of thein treatment. The practical part is focused on research of modeling as one of the risk factors for eating disorders. This section is based on information obtained through personál interview conducted with respondents from the field of modeling and acting outsider the scope. The resulting data are recorded by means of case studies, tables and graphs.
Eating Disorders
LUKEŠOVÁ, Petra
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create an eating disorder prevention program. The thesis particularly focuses on the eating disorder problems during adolescence and early adulthood along with the explanation and specification of basic terms, history and cause of the disorder. A strong emphasis is placed on the possibilities of the prevention. A qualitative research was carried out within the scope of this thesis and it brought useful data about the students and their knowledge of the eating disorder problems. Three secondary schools in Southern Bohemia participated in the research. The full return rate of the questionnaires and their evaluation helped to draw up the eating disorder prevention program.
The influence of marketing communication in eating disorders

This Bachelor Thesis deals with the influence of marketing communication in eating disorders. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part deals with body image, ideal of beauty, eating disorders, marketing communication and communication mix. The second practical part consists of a questionnaire, an interview with a medical doctor and content analysis of stories from patients. The aim is to determine whether there is any influence of marketing communication to the emergency of the first symptoms of anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa. Furthermore, if women are affected by marketing communications in the field of beauty and thinness.
Mutual interaction of body image and the media

The main topic of my Bachelor's thesis is to describe the influence that mass media has on the perception of the human body, especially in young women. Initially discussed here are the various kinds of media exposure including TV, newspapers, magazines and now the Internet. The paper also examines the influence of body image on politics and politicians' appearance. As well as the influence of body image on children's programming whose affects in many ways already shape future generations. Based on questionnaires the most attractive celebrities were selected and divided into categories. There are a total of seven categories each both for men and women. Furthermore, connections were derived between these celebrities and demographic data such as age, gender, education and the size of city in which they live. The paper then looks for a pattern between the skin tone of the celebrities chosen and the respondents preferred skin tone. Whether the respondent thought that young people are more attractive than old people and whether they thought that current society pressures people to be physically attractive is analyzed. The final question, whether people would support the promotion of "real beauty", along with all other questions were compared to the selection of celebrities.
High school teachers in interaction with students with eating disorders

The aim of the work is theoretically and empirically to map the interaction of teachers of high schools with students with eating disorders. The theoretical part will contain the definition and description of key concepts and knowledge in the field of eating disorders and the psychology of communication. Empirical part will be focused on the description and understanding of the interactions of the teacher-student intake with a failure. The research will be carried out using qualitative methodology (with an emphasis on in-depth interviews and observations). Obtained data will be adequately analyzed and interpreted to the qualitative manner.
Eating habits of pupils of eighth and ninth grade at elementary school

This diploma thesis describes eating habits of pupils at elementary school. It mainly focuses on results of bad eating habits. The first chapter describes eating habits of pupils. The second chapter characterizes the age group 13 to 16 years. The following chapters are focused on eating disorders (in general and also specifically on anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa), individual and social factors influencing the disorder and disease prevention. The practical part informs about the results of the research focused on pupils of the eighth and ninth grade at two elementary schools in Třebíč region. The aim of the research was to find out whether pupils are satisfied with their figures and what the main source of information about eating disorders is for them.
PUBERTY AS RISK PERIOD FOR DEVELOPMENT OF EATING DISORDERS

Eating disorders mostly appears in adolescent girls and young women. They usually have a chronic course, serious mental, somatic and social consequences. The two most defined disorders, as done by MKN-10 and DSM-IV, among eating disorders are Anorexia nervosa and Bulimia nervosa, in both of which sufferers are excessively concerned about their self-body image. These disorders start to develop mostly between the age of 13-25 and there are ten times more women than men. Anorexia nervosa remains a highly morbid condition with the highest mortality of any other psychiatric disorder. The aim of the survey is to find the symptoms of eating disorders among 288 young girls age 13-15 from the Ceske Budejovice and to obtain prevalence rate of eating disorders. The author wants to verify hypothesis which presumes that the prevalence rate of eating disorders is 1-6%. Obtained information were acquired by anonymous questionnaires EAT-26. In our research the author found 19 girls with 20 or more points in EAT-26 questionnaire.
HEALTH RELATED QUALITY OF LIFE (HRQoL) IN EATING DISORDERS

The dissertation {\clq}qHealth Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) in Eating Disorders`` is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part is analyzes the problems with eating disorders. It is especially focused on its two basics forms, anorexia nervosa and bulimia which are illnesses occasioned by hypothrepsia. The next part drala with history, symptoms, cause, medication, process, prognosis and complications resulting from these disorders, including the main diagnostic criteria and prevalence data. Women are affected by both diseases more frequently than man. Mental anorexia occurs mostly between the 14th and 15th year of the life, mental bulimia at the age of 13 to 20 years. The second part is practicaly aimed at evaluation of SF-36 forms, where I verify hypotheses how eating disorders influence quality of life of theirs carriers and how the changes in quality of life are dependant on the grade of education. The analysed results indicate the difference between the sick and the healthy individuals and also the fact the level of education is important too.
Non-profit organizations working in the field of the prevention of eating disorders

This Bachelor?s Thesis focuses on non-profit organization where the prevention of eating disorders is concerned. The Theoretical Part provides a description of eating disorders, focusing on mental anorexia, mental bulimia and the prevention implemented by non-profit organizations. The Practical Part concentrates on defining the aim of this Bachelor?s Thesis, the methods applied and the characteristics of the target group. The first aim of was to map out non-profit organizations specializing in the prevention of eating disorders. The second aim was to determine how these non-profit organizations operate where prevention and public education are concerned. Data was obtained through qualitative research. Questioning was applied as the research method. Controlled interviews represented the data collection technique. The target group to be researched were non-profit organizations from all over the Czech Republic that deal with the prevention of eating disorders. Two non-profit organizations agreed to participate in the research project. The research project ran from March to June 2011. Research results showed that there are not enough non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic that specialize in the topic under review. Furthermore, research established that Anabell, an unincorporated organization with several branches, holds a leading position in the Czech Republic. Research results also proved that non-profit organizations do not run enough prevention programs and that the public education programs that they run in the Czech Republic are insufficient. This Bachelor?s Thesis may inspire the creation of a wider range of prevention programs and also the spreading of the network of non-profit organizations in the Czech Republic. It may also serve as a source of information for parents and schools where eating disorders are concerned.
