Development and assessment of selected properties of emulsion cosmetics
Kuchyňová, Jitka ; Souralová Popelková, Miriam (referee) ; Zemanová, Jana (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis focuses on assessment of selected properties of emulsion cosmetic product called Soothing face mask, which is produced by SynCare company. Thesis is targeted on rheological properties of the product. Basic rheological properties were measured by Brookfield viscosimeter in experimental part of the thesis. Short part of the text is dedicated to thermic analysis field, which may provide some useful pieces of information for storage of products in cryogenic temperature and development of emulsion products with good cryogenic-temperature resistance. Chemical properties of Soothing face mask product are expressed by description of particular characteristics of cosmetic ingredients in the product.
Cement composite materials with polypropylene fibers
Preisner, Martin ; Hela, Rudolf (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This thesis deals with summarizing the possible effects of the addition of polypropylene fibers, especially low temperature plasma treated on the properties of cement composites and concrete. They are given basic information and distribution of polypropylene fibers. It describes the finish polypropylene fiber low-temperature plasma. The experimental part focuses on the effect of dispersion of polypropylene fibers treated plasma in the cement matrix.
Viscosity and acidity of selected type of natural yoghur
BÁRTOVÁ, Zuzana
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the acidity and viscosity of natural yoghurt depending on the different addition of skimmed milk powder and using of the methods of sensory analysis to evaluate the perception of these properties by young consumers. Part of this work was to analyse acidity and viscozity in selected kinds of natural yoghurts purchased in the market network of the Czech Republic (CR). The literature search mentions basic characteristic of yoghurts and their classification, acidity and rheological properities of yoghurts including the factors, which affect them and sensory analysis. In the experimental part of the study the acidity value, total solids and viscosity measurements were detected by physico-chemical analyses of samples of natural yoghurts. At samples of yoghurts with different content of skimmed milk powder the sensory evaluation was also subjected and the graphs of sensory profile were compiled. The observed results showed, that from the samples of yoghurts made in the laboratory was the most satisfactory sample containing 10 % of skimmed milk powder. At samples purchased in the market network of CR were detected very low leveles of titratable acidity.
Studium hydrokoloidů v potravinách
Křupka, Pavel
This thesis on the study of hydrocolloids in food studies the physical properties of food hydrocolloids. The theoretical part is a literature overview of important food hydrocolloids. This part of the thesis divides individual hydrocolloids into groups according to their origin, which characterises their chemical structure and describes their functional properties and applications in food technology. The experimental part focuses on the physical and physicochemical parameters of selected hydrocolloid products and mixtures thereof. The profile physical property is viscosity, which was measured relatively using a capillary viscometer and absolutely using a rotational viscometer. Each hydrocolloid has a distinct thickening ability. This work deals with the clarification of the thickening properties of individual products within the group, as well as mixtures of different groups. The course of the viscosity of selected products was also subjected to the effects of a wide range of pH values and also a wide range of temperatures. Hydrocolloids even enable the creation of gels, and therefore the thesis also evaluates the gelling ability of selected hydrocolloidal products.
Provozní degradace motorového oleje v zemědělské technice
Řezníček, Ladislav
This thesis focuses on the description and detection of service degradation of engine oil in agricultural technology. The first part is an introduction to lubricants. Followed by an overview of the classification of motor oils according to their composition and viscosity. In other chapters the thesis deals with the the issue of lubrication of internal combustion engines and further clarification of the causes of penetration of wear particles in the engine. The experimental part of the work examines the motor oil used in the tractor Zetor. Oil samples were taken at intervals of 50 hours . In the beginning there are described the methods and appliances used to determine parameters of the samples . Final results are processed and show in charts. Their valuesdetermine the coefficients of determination R2. A total of eight samples of engine oil MADIT M7 ADS III were used. Seven of the samples were taken from the oil tank of the tractor and one sample was brand new. For these samples the chemical composition was examined as well as the amount of wear particles in the oil . Furthermore, the density and dynamic viscosity were meas-sured. Kinematic viscosity was calculated based on these two parameters. The state of degradation of engine oil was finally determined from all of these results.
Provozní degradace motocyklového oleje
Velecký, Tomáš
The diploma thesis is focused on description and detection of service degradation of motorcycle engine oil. The first part is an introduction to lubricants and their basic physical properties. Followed by an overview of the classification of motor oils according to their composition and viscosity. In other chapters the thesis deals with the issue of lubrication of internal combus-tion engines and motorcycle oil filtration. The first of 6 samples represents the new oil, other samples have been obtained from the tested motorcycle oil tank. The experimental part of the work examines the motorcycle engine oil. There is a description of the instruments by which the samples were collected in order to obtain different parameters of oil degradation. Density, viscosity and metals in oil were measured in all oil samples. The results of individual oil samples are shown in graphs. The rate of oil degradation was determined.
Optimalizace varného procesu piva s přídavkem netradičních surovin
Hájek, Jakub
This diploma thesis called "Optimization of beer brewing process with the addition of unconvential materials" focuses on the possibilities of using nopal powder for beer production. Introductory part of the literature review focuses on the standart and unconvential materials for beer production including characteristics of nopal (Opuncia ficus-indica). Another part of the review describes the process of beer production. Last part of the literature review focuses on non-starch polysaccharides in brewing industry. Practical part: beer samples with different concentrations of nopal powder were brewed at home microbrewery. Wort samples were collected for later viscosity measurements. Samples of beer were analyzed on automatic analyzer Fermentoflash, viscosity was measured and all beer samples passed sensory evaluation.
