Cycling as a form of integrated tourism in the area of "Česká Kanada"

The aim of this work was to introduce cycling as a part of integrated tourism. I tried to find out whether the area of "Česká Kanada" is a favourite cycling region. In literary background research I explained notions such as tourism and cycling and characterized that area. I have made survey to find out the development of cycling in that particular area. The information found from the survey was analysed by means of graphs and charts. Next I have mapped information centres and shops for cyclists and processed possibilities of accommodation. I have made a list of cycling routes that are interesting in that area. In the very end I want to say that area of "Česká Kanada" is paradise for cyclists.

Cycling infrastructure of northern Bohemia

Work deals with analyzing of the National Strategy for the development of cycling in the Czech Republic as the core document of state cycling support. There is also given an overview of related legislation. The second part is practical and includes an analysis of bicycle infrastructure and strategies of Ústecký Region and Karlovy Vary Region. Here are the most important bicycle tracks, planned support of development and some upcoming projects. In the last part is described the follow-up transportation, which is divided into rail transport, public transport and bus services.

Cyklistika jako dopravní prostředek v Českých Budějovicích

Bakalářská práce pojednává o cyklistice jako dopravním prostředku. V teoretické části se zabývá především Národní strategií rozvoje cyklistiky České republiky. Informuje o nehodovosti cyklistů, dále o integraci cyklistiky s dalšími druhy dopravy. Praktická část provádí analýzu cyklistické dopravy v Českých Budějovicích. Uvádí rozvoj a financování cyklistiky. Podrobně popisuje cyklistickou infrastrukturu ve městě. Zvažuje výhody používání jízdního kola a jeho hlavní omezení při dopravě po městě.
