Analysis of factors affecting a direct runoff from the catchment area
NEUBAUEROVÁ, Andrea
This diploma thesis follows my bachelor thesis. The main purpose of the bachelor thesis was to clarify fundamental terms and to explain the sorting of particular parts of a direct flow that involves both the surface saturated flow and the hypodermic flow. This diploma thesis is focusing on the origin of direct flow in a river basin. Specifically, it deals with river sub-basin P6, P52, and P53, which are located in Kopaninský potok river basin. Furthermore, it deals with Jenín I. and II. river basins and the last analysed is Ostřice river basin (SO2). Factors influencing direct flow are researched on all river basins. It is impossible to say that the origin of direct flow is caused solely by a single factor; it is always the result of multiple factors. Among these factors belongs the atmospheric precipitation, type of soil, vegetation, climatic and anthrophogenic conditions, land use, and inclination of the area. The bachelor thesis explains the issues of multiple methods of flow separation, but this diploma thesis is primarily focused on two methods for calculation of ratio between the direct and the total flow. 1) Empirical method GROUND, which is used to separate hydrographs of medium daily river basin flow. 2) Method of digital filter by Lyne Hollick separate fast and slowcomponents from the overall concentrated flow and are based on the theory od signal analysis. Afterwards, the results of flow separation were compared to the factors influencing the origin of the direct flow. The daily total flow rates for every analysed river basin were used as the input data for calculating the flow separation.
Direct run-off - formation and separation methods
NEUBAUEROVÁ, Andrea
The bachelor´s thesis occupies with an issue of a direct flow. The main purpose is the explanation of the basic terms of the issue and the explanation of the sorting of particular parts of a direct flow, that involves a surface saturated flow and a hypodermic flow. Subsequently the thesis describes its participation in the hydrogeological cycle, which means the participation in the permanent circulation of a surface and underground water on Earth. The extreme precipitations are dangerous due to their force, total sum and intensity. The inception of hydrological occurrences like floods or dry seasons is possible owing to this. The fallen precipitations have a big influence on a surface flow and a transportation of soil particles. The thesis is focused on the inception and the genesis of a direct flow. Further it focuses on the factors that influence the flow. Among these factors belong climatic and anthrophogenic conditions, vegetation, type of soil and atmospheric precipitations. There are clarified selected methods of potential separation which are explained and described in detail. This part of the issue mentions CN curve method, GROUNG method, MPGM, analysis of dropped subdivisions and finally method of digital filter (Chapman). These methods divides the flow on an elemental flow and direct flow.
Analysis of retail opportunities and threats in Strakonice region
BAJTOVÁ, Jitka
Principal objective of my authorized work has been to make analyse of retail´s opportunities and threat in section of quick high turnover goods in Strakonice. Information, which has been obtained, base on the analyse and observation, to write to the simulation software RetailOpportunitySim, to introduce screenplay of development and base on the results from the software to propose suitable actions for chosen retail´s subject. To calibrate the software was necessary to define the market geographically and define the real structure of the settlement. Survey was carried out and observations of the retail units on my chosen market. Scenarios were defined hypotheses were confirmed or rejected by software. The scenarios were applied to the retail unit Gastro.

Following evaluation questionnaire defined a selection regions of education, health-care, retail and general service. As subsequent step, selected territories with it?s demand were compared with service capacity of related villages.
Evaluation of water quality and runoff characteristics in the Jenínský stream catchment.
KROPÁČEK, Robin
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate water quality and runoff characteristics in the Jenínský stream catchment. For this purpose analysis and data processing was performed. Two subcatchments, called J1 and J2, were monitored at this catchment area. Period of interest involves years 2008-2012. Results were compared with the period 1983-1985 when most of the land was used as arable land. The decrease in the concentrations of all evaluated indicators was caused by grassing and reduction in the use of fertilisers. Ranges of the values of selected indicators also decreased distinctly and their concentrations are stabilized. The greatest decrease of 79% (J1) and 87% (J2) was found in average ammonium concentrations. A beneficial effect of land use change to extensive agricultural management on water quality was proven.

Kozáková, Lucie ; Krejčová, Nikola (advisor) ; Tomešová, Jana (referee)
KOZÁKOVÁ, Lucie. The evaluation of accredited projects on developement of the catchment area of municipality Vacov. Prague: Faculty of Economics, University of Economics, Prague, 2012. 40 pages. Bachelor thesis. This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of selected subsidy financed projects in municipality Vacov and thein impact on catchment area of municipality Vacov. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether implemented and Europian Union financed projects have had an influence on catchment area of municipality Vacov. In the first part, this thesis is focused on defining of basic theoretical and methodological concepts and thoeries dealing with catchment area definition followed by socioeconomical characteric of municipality. Second part of this is focused on implemented projects. It specifies selection kriteria of selection two projects, describes and analyzes them. The first project Reconstruction of medical care infrastructure in Vacov region was devided into three parts in ordet to simplify research -- doctor's offices, pharmacy and emergency service. Each of these parts has been explored by analysis of acquired data and by survey/inquiry. Through the implementation of these methods positive impact on the mucipality's catchment area has beeb demonstrated. As second project named Reconstruction of public spaces to multipurpose facility for human resources development has been selected. From comparison of analysed data results the fact, that this project does not fullfill its purpose and has no impact on the size on catchment area of municipality Vacov. The catchment area of municipality Vacov has been enlarged just in medical services area.
Analysis of the shopping centre market in the Czech republic and Slovakia
Škodáčková, Gabriela ; Průša, Přemysl (advisor) ; Brabec, Petr (referee)
ŠKODÁČKOVÁ, Gabriela: Analysis of the shopping centre market in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Bachelor Thesis. Prague: University of Economics, Prague, Faculty of International Relations, Department of Retailing and Business Communication, 2011. 60 p. Thesis head: PRŮŠA, Přemysl. Dominant theme of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of shopping centre market in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The thesis is devided into three chapters. The first chapter defines the concepts of retailing from the theoretical aspect. The second part also consists of the theoretical disclosure, describing the evolution of retail units since the first retail markets had shown up in the seventh century. In the meantime the real retail market started to grow in the USA. Across the world, developers of shopping centers have broken free of their traditional boundaries, explore new markets and new territories. As Europe could not resist incoming trends, shopping centers started to appear concurrently in the Czech Republic and Slovakia too. Based on the historical data and figures from the previous shopping centre's development, as well as considering the theoretical characteristics of simple Central European retail formats, the aim is to shadow the shape of future retail formats to be build in coming years in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The shopping center of 2015 will likely be a unique hybrid, slightly different than what we used to know. The third part content is focused on the analysis of two model shopping centers. One is located in the Czech Republic -- NISA Shopping Center in Liberec and the other stands in Slovakia, Banská Bystrica and it is called EUROPA Shopping Center. The conclusion is rather analythical. Besides the SWOT analysis of the centres it specifies the way of dellimitation of catchment areas. At the close of theoretical part research was made within the group of local inhabitants, showing interesting results in circumscriptioning of customer profile. catchment area, competition, customer profile, location analysis, retail formats, retail history, retail market, retail stock, shopping center, socio-economic situation
Methods of runoff components separation
KUBEŠ, Ondřej
The paper deals with monitoring and measurement of runoff. This is particularly important to identify water supplies in the catchment area, or timely detection of extreme hydrological events such as floods and droughts, and because of the potential rate of spread of pollutants. The value of the runoff is particularly important for irrigation needs for agriculture. Further work is focused on the individual components of runoff, the methods used for their separation and a detailed description of various types of runoff. The practical part includes measurement of the discharge at the Jennínsky stream catchment, located near the border with Austria, the Český Krumlov district. For analyses discharge from the hydrological years 2005 ? 2008 was chosen. And using the three selected methods of separation (method GROUND, method and method MPGM digital filter according to Chapman), which are further described and explained. These methods divide runoff into the baseflow component and direct runoff component. These results are further compared with the method of reccesion curve analyses performed on four events. The work should show the differences in results of various methods.
