My bachelor thesis is focused on describing direct sales as one of the methods of distributing and selling goods and services. I analyze production of the American company called Southwestern and suggest ways how to improve their production. My theoretical part is focused on the description of direct sales, history, profiles of dealers and current position of direct sales on the world market. I also describe the multilevel marketing, the marketing mix, essential parts of the cycle of selling and the sales talk. The purpose of my analytical part of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the production of Southwestern company dealers. It is one of the companies, which still use direct selling for distribution and selling their goods and services. I will use the internal data of the Southwestern company. I also describe company in general, the market it belongs to, goods and services, communication mix and the organizational structure. In the conclusion, there are recommendations on how to make the selection process and training more effective.
ANALÝZA VÝVOJE PĚSTOVÁNÍ VINNÉ RÉVY A VÝROBY VÍNA OD ROKU 1945 DO SOUČASNOSTI
Osičková, Monika ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Petrášek, František (referee)
The agriculture in Czech republic belongs to traditional parts of a national economy and this topic is very discussed recently especially after the admission Czech republic to European Union. Czech farmers and wine producers do not have the same conditions as wine producers in the original countries of European Union. The winery has a big value for czech agriculture especially in the production areas. There is a characteristic of basic notions, definitions and surveyed variables in the theory part. Furthermore there is a description of importance of vinery to national economy and to the production areas. In the analytical part there will be the estimation of a production of wine, changes of productive surface and vine varieties. The intenstion of this thesis is to create the compact analytic material about the wine production from 1945 to present days.

In the second chapter there are described barriers of international trade in nonwovens and the need of tariff elimination. Chapter 3 shows consumption, production and foreign trade in nonwovens - globally focused on European Union. In the final chapter the diploma work is focused on the use of nonwovens in the selected sector of hygiene absorbent products.
Simplex algorithm in projecting the production
GUROVIČOVÁ, Eva
The aim of this thesis was to apply the simplex algorithm in designing the production. Simplex algorithm was used in the case study, which focused on the farm with crop and livestock production. Production is made up of grown crops and livestock. Maximization objective function was formed to gain (or loss) on commodity production. The intention was to break down plant and animal production in order to get the most efficient way to use the area sown, which allowed me a case study.
Production and alleopathic potential of plants of Satureja genus
HOŘEJŠÍ, Lenka
In Czech Republic, two species of savory namely summer savory (Satureja hortensis L.) and winter savory (Satureja montana L.) are grown. Aim of this work is to summarize information about biological characteristics and requirements of both species on environmental conditions, production of these drugs in the Czech Republic and abroad, effective substances and their effects and possibilities of savory utilization in manufacturing industry and agriculture. Overground parts and leaves of savory plants are exploited like a spice or a drug that positively influences digestion, reduces flatulence and has also anti?inflammatory effects. Major components of volatile oil savory are phenolic compounds carvacrol and thymol. Just carvacrol and thymol are considered as allelopathic compounds of mint, sweet basil, caraway and others. On the basis some studies, we can assume that they are also potential allelopathic compounds of savory. Summer savory is more suitable for growing in the Czech Republic especially in the ecological agriculture than winter savory. We can easily include this crop in the crop rotation because it is an annual plant and there is a lower hazard of failure e.g. frost damage. Growing of winter savory would be more suitable for the essential oil production.
Analysis of the production of broiler chickens on the farm Agro Čejetice
RIŠKOVÁ, Martina
Production of poultry meat in the Republic and in the world has upward trend. This is primarily due to the highly fattening ability, reproductive short interval, dietetic properties of meat, good efficiency of conversion of feed nutrients and by independences food production of soil. Every year across the European Union is produced about 5.9 billion broiler chickens. The subject of my bachelor´s dissertation was to develop a literature search and analysis of broiler production in the farm Čejetice Agro Ltd. Collection of input data was realised in chronological period of 3 years (2008-2010). The dissertation is focused on the gains of broiler chickens and the consumption of complete feed in this company.
Qualitative indexes of milk of ewes the Original Valachian
PEŠINOVÁ, Petra
The aim of study was to evaluate milk efficiency of sheep Original Valachian (OV). Observation took place in the period 2006-2009 and were involved 123 ovine. Samples were taken from the morning milking during the months April to August (method ET). Milking proces was realised mechanically. In 84 sheep were known genotypes AA (n = 13), AB (n = 18), BB (n = 53). After evaluation of essential components of ewe{\crq}s milk from flock of lambing ewes OV during lactation were found these average values: Fat (F) 4,90 g.100g-1, crude protein (CP) 5,94 g.100g-1, casein (CAS) 4,40 g.100g-1, serum protein (SP) 1,18 g.100g-1, lactose (L) 5,07 g.100g-1, dry matter (DM) 16,45 g.100g-1, solid not fat (SNF) 11,63 g.100g-1 and utilizable dry matter (UDM) 10,85 g.100g-1. Average daily milk yield of OV was 0,70 l. Effect of stage of lactation was provable on all the indicators in the level of significance 0,001. It was evidenced a statistically significant effect of the control year on the content of SNF (P{<}0,05), on the L (P{<}0,01) and on all other components (P{<}0,001). At comparing milk production OV according to the genetic polymorphism of {$\beta$}-lactoglobulin have been identified probably significant differences in milk yield (P{<}0,05). The highest daily milk yield reached genotype AB (0,76 l.day-1) {>} BB (0,68 l.day-1) {>} AA (0,66 l.day-1). In AB genotype was found the lowest levels of these essential components F, CP, CAS, DM, SNF and UDM. Highly significant effect of genotype was found on content of L (P{<}0,001). The highest content of L was confirmed by genotype BB (5,13 g.100g-1) {>} AB (5,08 g.100g-1) {>} AA (4,91 g.100g-1). Less significant effect was found on SNF (P{<}0,1). The highest average content of SNF was found in genotype BB (11,72 g.100g-1) {>} AA (11,62 g.100g-1) {>} AB (11,54 g.100g-1). In genotype AA was found the highest values of F, CP, CAS, SP, DM. Both genotypes AA, BB showed the same content of DM (16,32 g.100g-1).
Evaluation of production characteristics of sheep breeds merinolandschaf
KRÁLOVÁ, Lucie
Evaluation of production characteristics of sheep breeds merinolandschaf were compared with results of performance tests of the reference density to the national results. The results of the performance tests can indicate that the percentage of fertilization in animals was monitored until 2007, the average fertilization throughout the Czech Republic and since 2008 the percentage of fertilization on the contrary decreased. Fertility percentage over the period from year to year increases. In 2006 the fertility rate was 121,5 % in 2010 it was already150,8 %. The average for the period was 137,7 %. Average intensity (the ratio of the number of lambs born to ewes in the number of reproduction) between the years 2006 to 2010 it was 121,6 %. Raising the reference breed merinolandschaf was on average 105,84 % in a five-year period. From the control performance arises that the weakest year for rearing was the year 2009 with only 77,1 %. Shearing of the wool at the reference density in 2007 was 3,49 kg and in 2008 - 3,7 kg. The diference between the weight of the wool was 1,31 kg in 2007 and in 2008 it was only 0,3 kg in favor of the nationwide results. On average, each year in the replacement of the years 2006 - 2010 Paseky included in breeding ewes 73,8 ewes, were pregnant was 64,4 pc and 9,2 pc reactive. In 2006 it was achieved the best results by the number of lambs weaned (zero deaths). On the other hand, in 2009 there was a large number of sheep deaths (25 dead lambs). On average per year was reared during the reporting period, five lambs of 76,4 and 81,8 live births lambs overall average of 89 lambs. The weight of lambs at birth followed a five-year period was on average 3,44 kg in 100 days and 22.15 kg. From the results obtained from performance tests from 2006 - 2010 arises that the combined merinolandschaf breed is suitable for possible use as a maternal race in the production of slaughter lambs.
