This diploma thesis deals with maintaining possibilities for appropriate climatic conditions in outdoor greenhouse. The importance for growing plants is an appropriate temperature, humidity and adequate supply of water. The aim of the study is to suggest an apparatus sustaining beforehand defined conditions in the greenhouse with minimal requirements for maintenance. Apparatus uses analogue control by applying photosezistor and thermistor. For power supply are DC-DC converters used.

Long term investigation of resveratrol content in moravian red wines in relation to climate conditions

The considerable commercial importance of wine together with the necessary quality control and investigation of the biological quality of constituent compounds leads to the development of adequate and reliable methods for the determination of macro- and micro-components in wine. Although wine contains a large amount of known compounds e.g. volatile (fl avour compounds), semi-volatile (phenolic) and non-volatile components (pigments), new compounds from all the above mentioned classes are still found in wine and are under heavy investigation, especially regarding their biological activity and their relation to the vinifi cation processes. Th e most signifi cant and famous due to the so-called French paradox is resveratrol-3,4´,5-trihydroxystilbene. Resveratrol is a stress metabolite formed in the grapevine in response to abiotic (UV irradiation) and biotic stresses (Botrytis cinerea). UV irradiation transforms trans isomer to cis form. But according the recent literature cis resveratrol could be also a result of organic farming – natural means of defence in organic viticulture against fungal infections. In our study we have investigated resveratrol content in diff erent vineyards in relation to annual mean temperature, precipitation and sun irradiation.

Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) MOENCH) and its utilization possibilities in the condition of the Czech Republic

Sorghum is one of the oldest used crops. Presently, it is one of the five most cultivated cereals in the world for human nutrition. This methodology includes a comprehensive view of sorghum cultivation and presents the newest knowledge in range from botanical taxonomy to the possibilities of utilization. In this publication, there are included not only our own results but there are also results from the world scientific publications. There are characterized selected species of sorghum suitable for different climatic conditions of the Czech Republic. There are described all aspects and procedures, which can influence the final production of selected sorghum varieties including their quality from the point of view of biogas production.

The Health Risk Assesment of Employees in ARPIDA Center.

The target of my work was Health risks evalution of employees in ARPIDA center. This facility provides care for the persons with physical and multiple disabilities. Employees were evaluated for the following professional groups: physical therapist, special educator, teaching assistant, personal assistant and rehabilitation pool lifeguard. For my research I have set the following research questions: ?What are the conditions for the categorization of works in connection with the operation of ARPIDA center??, ?Is the work of workers with direct contact with handicapped persons with endurable physical stress??, ?Are the factors at work of all employees ARPIDA center same and is the same as classifying these factors into categories?? The thesis was based on the application of a qualitative survey. The data collection method was used to interview with employees and then it was taged by secondary data analysis methodology compiling study of expert sources. Based on this research it was found that the factors do not work at all studied the same profession, the same is not their classification into categories. Some professions are burdened by excessive physical exertion. Lifeguard pool doesn´t expose to physical exertion, but his work activities affect climatic conditions and exposure to chemicals. Factors in a higher category than the first, can negatively affect the health of workers, especially physical load factor. For more specific evidence that physical stress factor could be in the category of the third, risk, I recommend to accredited or authorized measuring of physical activity in the profession a physiotherapist. This bachelor thesis can serve as a resource to increase awareness of employees who are professionally engaged in work with handicapped persons and may be the basis for further research in this field.

Geologické aspekty ukládání radioaktivního odpadu do hlubinných úložišť. Práce se zabývá odpady, které svojí radiotoxicitou převyšují stanovené limity RAO povolených k ukládání do regionálních povrchových úložišť. Byly popsány a vyhodnoceny geologické poměry širšího okolí lokalit, resp. oblasti jaderných elektráren Dukovany a Temelín. Je uvedeno vvymezení zájmových lokalit, jejich geomorfologický popis, klimatická charakteristika a hydrologický režim.

Theoretical basis for determining the design of erosion transport crash.

Atmospheric precipitation are given by a total railfall, the spatial distribution and intensity. All of these factors, along with climatic conditions, vegetation and soil type, take part in the total runoff. Extreme rainfall is dangerous with its energy and total rainfall, but also with its intensity, which has great influence on surface runoff and transport of soil particles. There are dozens of programs for processing Curve Number and total runoff.
