Ski training courses in primary and secondary school in the Czech republic

Title: Ski training courses in primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic Objective To assess the current status of ski training courses in primary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic Purpose of the study The design for the study of this subject originated from results of previous research carried out since1990. This research indicated that since 1990, interest in ski training courses, as demonstrated by school pupils, administrators and teachers, has declined. The purpose of the work is to appraise whether this trend continues, to assess the underlying cause and to help reverse this unfavourable trend. Method Research methods will include inquiry in the form of questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaires will be supplemented with a brief explanation of the objectives and tasks. The questionnaires will be sent to physical education teachers in approximately 100 primary and 100 secondary schools. The results will be analysed using Microsoft ACCESS and Microsoft EXCEL. The Application of the Soft Systems Methodology to the Problem of Insufficient Information Delivery from the Public Administration of the Town Lysá nad Labem to its Citizens in Public Matters

The aim of this paper is to analyze the problem of insufficient information delivery from the public administration of the town Lysá nad Labem to its citizens in public matters and to find particular solutions to improve the situation. The problem is being analyzed and partly solved by the soft systems methodology which is best used with complex unstructured problems involving human action. The soft systems methodology provides number of thinking-supportive tools which are used to find out about the problem situation, express particular problems and to find feasible and desirable solutions which lead to improvement. The application of the soft systems methodology brought very detailed analysis of the problem situation from which a number of possible solutions to improve the problem have arisen. One solution proposal offers solutions which hardly intervene in the structure and processes of the present system and are more likely to be implemented in a long term perspective. The other solution proposal consists of solutions which can be implemented in a short term perspective.

The Immovable Property Tax in Slovakia -- Analysis of the Chosen Town

The thesis deals with an analysis of immovable property tax in the town Levoča. It proceeds from comparison of the most considerable differences in property taxation before reform which came in force in 2005 and after its implementation.The attention is focused on changes as a result of this reform with emphasis on behaviour of tax administrator (community). This point is resulting in goal of thesis, that is appreciation of these influences through analyses. The main part of thesis consists of those analyses, the analysis of general rules and analysis of tax incomes.

The development of cross-border cooperation of the Region of South Bohemia, the Free State of Bavaria, Upper and Lower Austria with a focus on Strategy for removal of consequences of the Iron Curtain.

The author of the bachelor thesis is going to handle with the development of the Region of South Bohemia, Free State of Bavaria and Upper and Lower Austria cross-border cooperation. The thesis concerns general problematic of cross-border cooperation, its historic development in the frame of the respective timeframe, concerning period from the year 1948 up to nowadays, further the projects administrated by the Region of South Bohemia and its neighbouring regions as well as the planning projects, not yet implemented. Introduction of The Strategy for Removing The Impacts of The Iron Curtain in the separate chapter enables deeper insight into the strategy as well as into its future utilization. Moreover, the author made questionnaire research among the citizens living in the border towns of the Region of South Bohemia that might feel the impacts of the iron curtain the most. In the conclusion of the thesis the author creates conclusions from the carried research and confirms or disputed the assumption of the thesis.

Functional typization of built-up area of the town of České Budějovice and project of price map for residential area

The bachelor thesis deals with identification and inner differentiation of urban area of the town of České Budějovice based on the functional typization of land use.Introduction concentrates on delimitation of urban area of the town of České Budějovice itself and for better understanding of development of particular functional areas there is also a brief reference to urban development of the town of České Budějovice. The next part dedicates to detailed typology of residential built-up areas in delimited urban areas of the town that was created by the author after his field research.This typology of residential built-up area is the main key for orientation in the project of price maps which are found in the final part of the work. The final part analyzes the average price of one square metre in the basic types of housing in particular parts of the town of České Budějovice. The final synthesis tries to register and define the basic factors which influence the differences in prices. The gained results of work are transferred to the geographical information system GIS for the needs of the final synthesis and visualisation.

The time availability of work centers of South Bohemia region

My thesis deals with the time availability of work centers of South Bohemia region by the private transport. Introductory chapters are focused on the objectives of the thesis, the theoretical background, the analysis of published literature and the formed hypotheses. The chapter "processing method" deals with describing of the various methods that are used to describe the definition of the work centers of the region, the time availability analysis of the private transport and the visualization of obtained data by the tools of the geographic information systems. The main charter contains an extensive analysis of the time availability, which are reflected maps and tabular outputs of the work centers, the administrative division, the regional availability and area accessible by the transport.

Historical-geographical aspects of the population development of the town of Dvůr Králové nad Labem

The purpose of my thesis is to analyse with an emphasis on the Industrial Revolution historical-geographical aspects of the population development of the town of Dvůr Králové nad Labem, compared with the development in other cities of the Hradec Králové Region. The study is composed of an introduction explaining my principle objectives and initial hypothesis and also of three chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of this problemacy. Chapter One defines basic terminology and describes historical and geographical character of the studied town and region. The next chapter is subdivided into two parts: the analytical one focuses on relevant reasons to examine differences in the population development and provides a comparison with the chosen periods; the synthetic part divides the population development of the Hradec Králové Region into two zones on the basis of achieved results from the previous parts. Subsequently, it also summarizes main aspects of the population development in the chosen towns and makes a conclusion to indicate future situation. Finally, Chapter Three concentrates on problems resulting from my initial hypothesis and deals with accomplishing of my objectives drawn in the introductory Chapter. The thesis contains a large number of charts, graphical and geographical attachments.

Lexicon of personalities in ice-hockey club HC Dukla Jihlava\\
VARHANÍK, Lukáš
HC Dukla Jihlava, the ice hockey club of the Vysocina region, achieved the biggest successes in the second half of the 20th century. Originally an army hockey club arose by moving Dukla Olomouc in 1956. The club is historically the most successful Czech ice hockey club where over the years had played several players whose performances were enrolled in history. The author dedicates his work to the history of foundation of the ice hockey and to the beginning of the foundation of the HC Dukla Jihlava club. In the practical part of his work he states names and interviews with those players he included into the lexicon of personalities of the Jihlava's hockey club. The aim of his work is a reminder of the famous history of the club which achieved fame for working with youngsters from whom they brought up national representants, republic champions, Spengler Cup winners, Golden Stick holders, silver Olympians. Some players were receing offers from abroad, but that time didn't allow them to accept them. Yet they managed to break through the players' competition and no one regrets the Jihlava's contract. Dukla Jihlava is a town's mark.

František Miroslav Čapek - life and work of amateur historian

This thesis is an experiment of the first more comprehensive capture life and public activity of František Miroslav Čapek, a significant south Bohemia ethnographer, from the first half of the twentieth century. F. M. Čapek enrolled with many historical works in history of our region. He provides place in history of town České Budějovice with his activities during the state change on the 28. October 1918. I wrote this bachelor work based on the study of special literature, mainly personal fund of František Miroslav Čapek, which is deposited in the Literary archive of Memorial National Literature in Prague, South Bohemian Muzeum and in a State District Archives in České Budějovice. This work contains three chapters include an introduction and a book closing. The first chapter is aimed on regional historiography in the first half of the twentieth century. The second chapter describes the life of František Miroslav Čapek from birth to his death, including the public activities. The third and final chapter is aimed to the historical creation of František Miroslav Čapek.
