Smart Li-ion Batery
Prachař, Vojtěch ; Burian, František (referee) ; Kopečný, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with lithium accumulators with electronics, which are composed to a unit called Intelligent Battery. Within this thesis, the main features of these accumulators are explained and the circuit to monitor these accumulators has been designed and manufactured, it can disconnect them when the parameters are exceeded, and it stores the history of the battery measurement in memory. It also allows reading of current and logged battery data via UART. The computer application is designed for communication, to display the information and to adjust the battery circuit parameters. The electronics secure charging when the 24V adapter is connected according to the set parameters and it also secure balancing of the individual accumulators.
LED bicycle lights
Čmelík, Matouš ; Patočka, Miroslav (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
In semester thesis i project bicycle lighting using LEDs that are powered from the alternator. The LEDs are powered also from battery, that is recharged while driving and when you stop it enable uninterrupted lighting. The concept is designed so that the final price is as low as possible. All things is designed to insert to the existing bicycle lightint on Eska or Favorit bicycle. The use of inverters ensures high efficienty of the whole concept. Using LEDs compare to standart solutions with bulbs is more efficienty to.
Models of switching power supplies in MATLAB-Simulink
Procházka, David ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Huták, Petr (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the issue of models of switching power supplies. The first part describes the principle of switching power supplies. The second part is devoted to the design of the drive parameters and appropriate regulatory circuit. The last section is devoted to developing models of switching power supply in the MATLAB using the Simulink block Power system.
Microprocessor controlled BLDC motor inverter realization
Mikuška, Martin ; Cipín, Radoslav (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis goes into electronic commutated motors, their inverters and specific parts of the general pulse converter. Next it is described step-down converters, push-pull converters and the principles that are supported by practical exercises. The next part describes the design of the power transistors driver and problems of galvanic separation by optocouplers.
Power supply and monitoring system for internet node
Šťastný, Ladislav ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Macho, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design the power supply and monitoring system of internet node. The work shows the controlling and monitoring issue and the power supply of internet nodes and its requirements. Design describes functional blocks of system, its role, used parts and the whole system design.
Accumulator tester
Pisca, Marek ; Kadlec, Josef (referee) ; Cipín, Radoslav (advisor)
This master´s thesis is dealing with the theory of Li-ion accumulators and theirs charching. In this thesis has been designed accumulator tester for automatic charging and discharging of Li-ion accumulator. This tester is controlled by microprocessor.
Iverter for three-phase motor
Mikuška, Martin ; Červinka, Dalibor (referee) ; Knobloch, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis goes into design of particular circuits for three phase inverter. Inverter’s control is ensured by digital signal controller MC56F8013 with his program. Principle of control is suggested for individual motors. Inverter design considerate universal use and capability for any three phase motor. Particular blocks are compatible each other.
General-purpose power supply with microcontroller
Jorda, Ivo ; Vyskočil, Pavel (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design of adjustable switched mode power supply with symmetrical output of 25 V, and switched mode power supply with fixed output voltage of 5 V. Required maximum output current of each outputs is 3 A. At the beginning of the paper function of the basic SMPS topologies is described. Next all reqiured SMPSs are designed and chosen parts of the design are simulated. In the second half of the thesis assembly and testing of PCB are described as well as functions of programs. Last chapter contains results of meassurement of power supply paramters.
USB controlled voltage and current source
Pytela, Ondřej ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on complete construction of lab source which is controlled and powered by USB in personal computer. Different types of possible solutions are mentioned and finally one of them has been picked up as a best choice, which is developed in the rest of this thesis. Besides hardware construction there is also shown creation of main program for PIC18F14K50 microcontroller and main application that provides controlling of USB source via personal computer.
Worpllace for dynamic testring of solar cells.
Hanák, Kamil ; Hégr, Ondřej (referee) ; Boušek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This work deals with method for characterization of photovoltaic solar cells based on evaluation of solar cell response to fast transients. The voltage of the cell in both forward and reverse polarisation was controlled by current pulse exciting. Real reverse breakdown voltage and exact value of serial resistance of the cell can be obtained easily by evaluation of the transient curves recorded by digital osciloscope. By negotiation of the time constants of the cell response to excitation in forward polarisation the lifetime of minority carriers in semiconductor bulk can be estimated.
